Waterhouse area is a delightful area for your holiday with a handful of places to eat drink and shop, as well as excellent access to the surrounding National Park area. Head to the nearby charming towns of Ashbourne (8miles) or Leek (7miles) and take advantage of their wide range of amenities and attractive architecture and for the thrill-seekers, a visit to well known Alton Towers (8mls) is a must. The Churnet Valley Heritage Railway runs from Cheddleton (5miles) to Frogall and the Manifold Valley for walking or cycling is visible one mile distant. The 'Stables' is a lovely cottage betwixt the mysteries of the Staffordshire Moorlands and the fantastic Peak District locations.Waterhouses lies between Leek and Ashbourne in the Peak National Park. It offers shops, pubs and places to eat. Alton Towers Theme Park is a short drive away. The market town of Ashbourne makes for a delightful day out. The Peak District National Park offers a multitude of walking and cycling opportunities.
