It's a veritable little reconstructed rural hamlet that Sylvie and Stéphane have patiently restored over the years with a sincere desire to share and a good dose of courage. In this natural green setting, they have worked to preserve the traditional buildings through self-construction, seeking a return to simplicity and authenticity. Local materials, recycling, and self-sufficiency are the guiding principles of this lifelong project, with a particular fondness for the larch shingle roofs that give the site a unique character. Not only does it hold the Ecogîte® label, but the Maison du Pré is also remarkable for its accessibility for people with disabilities. The owners have meticulously considered all needs so that anyone in a wheelchair, hard of hearing, or visually impaired can stay comfortably. It will receive the Tourism and Disability label in 2026. The nearby greenway and the GR223 long-distance hiking trail offer some wonderful walks. Detached house. Living room with wood-burning stove (TV, fiber optic internet). Baby equipment available on request. Main heating is provided by a wood-burning stove (wood supplied), with supplemental electric heating in the bathroom. Bed linen and towels are available for rent.
