A bright conservatory provides additional space to relax after a busy day walking on the fells. A spacious family bathroom completes the ground floor. Head upstairs for two comfortable bedrooms; one presented as a double and one as a twin. Please note the property does not contain a washing machine, dishwasher or ironing board. Due to the age of the property, the floors may be uneven and the stairs are steep. Outside, guests can enjoy a peaceful and spacious garden and parking is provided for two cars. The pretty village of Threlkeld dates back more than 800 years and there are two historic Lakeland pubs – The Sally Inn and The Horse and Farrier. Threlkeld's history reaches back more than 800 years; the Romans were here from the 3rd to the 8th century, followed later by the Norse. In the village the church dates back to 1578 and there are two pubs that first opened their doors in 1688. Though only a few miles outside Keswick, the village is tranquil and unspoilt with great views of Blencathra and the Helvellyn range.
