Brilliant hotel with an excellent location and lovely pools and really liked the water slides. Only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the main lobby and bar did not have any air conditioning..

The amenities are great good pool areas and fitness facilities which are very clean. The room was nice enough, very clean but bed was quite uncomfortable and just not quote 5 star standard. The food quality wasn't great at dinner times I would say 3/4 star at best.

A separate adults only pool is an excellent idea and was very quiet. There was also a separate area for breakfast and a snack area for Preffered club guests.

Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms, stayed in preferred room. Great mini bar, breakfast lovely. Staff very friendly. Second visit to this hotel will definitely return. Great location for accessing both parts and close to the beach. Loved Sealegs bar and pool.

The Staff were all super friendly and helpful and the property was well kept. They also had great activities every day for all age groups. Our 6yr old still raves about the kids club. The Kids Club staff were especially amazing!

The staff were friendly and helpful at this very pleasant hotel. We were disappointed that the spa/indoor pool was closed during our stay but we understand that this was for refurbishment. The Sea Legs pool area and swim up bar was always clean and tidy. We stayed for 7 nights and visited all of the a la carte restsurants. We we were more than happy with the selection and service but may have had to repeat ourselves if staying longer. The hotel is close by Playa Dorada and an easy walk to either Rubicon Marina or Playa Blanca centre.

Eten was voldoende gevarieerd. Toiletten (deuren) aan de zwembaden zijn zeker aan vernieuwing toe. Spijtig dat maar in 1 zwembad met een balletje of opblaasspullen mocht gespeeld worden terwijl er overal veel kinderen aanwezig waren. Kuisen van de kamers mag iets grondiger, er lag een beetje bloed op de vloer toen we aankwamen en was nog steeds niet weg toen we doorgingen. Ook te weinig personeel aan de bars. Zwembadwater was vrij troebel, mag properder zijn voor een 5 sterren restaurant. Voor ons was het eigenlijk 4 sterren waardig. Ook veel te weinig ligstoelen aan de zwembaden. Onze plaats was ineens ingenomen door iemand anders omdat we langer dan een kwartier niet aan onze stoelen waren geweest

The location is ideal and the rooms are lovely. The cleaners are extremely helpful, especially our cleaner Angelica who went out of her way to help us! Some of the other staff clearly didn’t want to be there but unfortunately that’s a common occurrence in some hotels. There was air conditioning in the rooms but I noticed there wasn’t any in the lobbies etc. The sunbeds could definitely do with cleaning and repairing around the pools. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would come back.

Very clean hotel and surrounding areas. Felt safe walking on the promenade even into the night. No real noise on the promenade after about 23:30 and our room was always quiet if we needed a nap. Hotel was very well organised. Probably the best shower I’ve had at a hotel, fantastic water pressure and the water temperature remains constant. We enjoyed our meals on site and the staff were really very pleasant. Shops were only a short walk away and snorkelling at the beach was lovely. Thank you.

Good: - Staff were almost all great (exception being the grumpy lifeguard who gives out towels). Special shout out to Felix and Toni at the Preferred Club Family Pool swim up bar - Preferred Club pool with swim up bar was epic… - Guest to sun lounger ratio was great - always possible to find a sun lounger - Preferred Club Twin plus Single room was great, and comfy beds - Sabor and Portafino were both good restaurants - great food at both of these Not so good: - Aircon in the room only just coped… certainly couldn’t achieve chilly, but kept just on top of it. I suspect if outside had been hotter it would have been a bit hot at night - Food… generally not amazing. Not much variety each day at the buffet. Breakfast in particular suffered both in the main buffet and Preferred Club buffet with some cold bits like beans, sausages, despite arriving at all times including straight after open on our last day. I suspect they didn’t have enough chefs to keep turning out hot food so it just sat there… - Himitsu… food was pleasant, but don’t expect dishes to be authentic flavours, Barefoot grill ok but not great - Some of the hotel a bit tired - you can tell they bought this from another chain and haven’t refurbished it all Info: - Great location… walkable into the town… gorgeous beach out of back gate and 5 mins walk, with breakwater making a cove for safe swimming/snorkelling - No teen activity - will spend a fortune on VR and tables which aren’t free - Shows are ok, not amazing

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Lovely room, super clean and well serviced as was the rest of the hotel. Really well positioned close to the beach, shops and restaurants and great choice of pools to relax by. Breakfast ok but lunch and evening meals not first class standard or as expected for a 5 star so chose to eat out. Would definitely 100% return on a bed and breakfast basis again.

Room was great - although we didn’t get the room we requested by email with the hotel at first. We changed to the desired room after two nights. As this was our third visit to Dreams we feel it would be a useful option if Preferred Club visitors could know in advance that they are getting the room they want. Something to consider perhaps? Staff were brilliant, breakfast wonderful. Disappointed that the Spa was not open - feel this should have been flagged up when we were looking to book. Hotel website still shows it as open. No doubt we will return.

From start to finish we greatly enjoyed our stay. We were greeted by a very warm welcome which was also most helpful. The housekeeping staff were very lovely, efficient and friendly. The hotel overall is nice, the service at time is a little slow, but I think this is down to staffing levels, the members of staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We were all inclusive, and found it a little odd that upon check out (12pm) this is no longer usable we had 5 hours until pick up and could not even have a soft drink, I have never had this at any other all inclusive resort. We were allowed lunch. The meal we had at bluewater was outstanding.

The staff was amazing and let us use the pools even on the day we checked out. They held our luggage while we used the pools. We only stayed there one day but the amenities, activities, and friendly staff were all worth it. We even got a coupon for Fund Grube.

Great hotel overall. This was our second visit this year we have noticed however the staff are not as good as they were before. We stayed in a pool view preferred club room and had a partial ocean view. Room was great, breakfast was nice apart from trying to get a coffee was almost impossible. The two main ladies on breakfast in the preferred lounge are great but on a weekend they are not there and it's a bit chaotic. We found the restaurants in the hotel were not great last time so mainly ate out as there are lots of choice at the marina and in the town. We stayed one evening for drinks in the hotel and again it was chaotic. Trying to get a drink was a real chore and made it unpleasant so we just left and went to a local bar. The staff on the drinks and bar were not really nice and almost feel angry that they serve you. The check out was brief and the lady said about 3 words to us and didn't even ask if we had a nice time! The cleaning staff are very hit and miss. Not sure if we will return a 3rd time.

Lovely hotel, great location. Fantastic facilities, everywhere was spotless. Animation team were lovely and the classes were great. Went with the prefared club which is well worth it for the lovely infinity heated pool alone. Got a lovely receptionist who welcomed us, didn't get her name but she had short grey hair and glasses. We also got an upgrade which was brilliant and really appreciated.Having the minibar topped up every day was super and the turn down service was a nice touch. The only reason I didn't give 5 star for staff was because the chefs who do the omelettes & fried eggs were grumpy and rude. Breakfast is until 10:30 but if you know what's good for you, you won't go to get an egg after 10:20.

Clean, fairly new…. Preferred club is worth it. All staff professional and friendly. Rooms are spacious. Area is convenient to shops and restaurants. The local beach is amazing in the mornings. Chair reserving continues to be an issue - not a property problem but a clientele problem. Don’t be that person! There are plenty for everyone especially if people don’t leave their towel suntanning for three or four hour stretches.

Great resort with no sun bed chasing as there are so many pools to choose from. Go Preferred Club if you can. Offers a lot of choices. We went b&b basis as we like to eat in the restaurants around the area. But plenty food choices and restaurants on site to stay or go fully inclusive. Breakfast was very good. Lots to choose from. Whilst we enjoyed our stay at Dreams but the hotel does not have a 5 Star feel about it. The building itself I has a somewhat dated appearance and does not exude the luxury and quality that we expected. We booked b&b Preferred Club. Our room was fine with a balcony overlooking the pool and sea. The daily included drinks and snacks were welcome. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied but table service for hot drinks was a little lacking. Many bowls were chipped and we noticed numerous dirty plates. The main pool area is a little tired, many parasols are ripped and/or damaged and some unusable. The sunbeds are cheap plastic ones and some dirty from spilled drinks etc. I was surprised there was no waiter service around the pool for a 5 Star hotel but no problem for us. We tried the Preferred Club pools but they were not our scene - small, quiet and isolated but might suit others. The Preferred Club lounge provided inclusive snacks and soft drinks all day until 6.00 pm which was a welcome perk though was actually a bit naff. The snacks were basic, the coffee machine was out of action on 3 occasions, the tables not cleaned etc. The evening entertainment was varied and good though the venue is makeshift at the bottom of the main stairs in the bar area. Obtaining a seat with a view is tricky with numerous columns in the seating area. We dined at Marina Rubicon every night so can’t comment on the hotel’s restaurants. We had a good time but would not return.

Nice hotel with friendly staff! In the Preferred club mini bar is for free! Spacious room with comfortable bed. Infinity pool with a spectacular sea view. Restaurant food it was mediocre...not many choices in the food menu and also not so tasty. If you book Preferred Club is worth the money. Overall it was a good and relaxing stay!

The staff were friendly and helpful at this very pleasant hotel. We were disappointed that the spa/indoor pool was closed during our stay but we understand that this was for refurbishment. The Sea Legs pool area and swim up bar was always clean and tidy. We stayed for 7 nights and visited all of the a la carte restsurants. We we were more than happy with the selection and service but may have had to repeat ourselves if staying longer. The hotel is close by Playa Dorada and an easy walk to either Rubicon Marina or Playa Blanca centre.

I'll start with the good. The guest experience staff were the one thing that stopped me walking out of this hotel and losing my money to find alternative accommodation. They did everything in their power to improve the experience. There were also some very nice, helpful staff in the hotel who were lovely to deal with. Sadly this is NOT a 5* luxury hotel. At best this would scrape 4* in my opinion. Reception was underwhelming but nice enough. But once being directed to our room everything went from Borderline 5* to 3*. The cheap floor tiles in finishes. Much of which needs renovation. Our room floor was filthy so we had to get reception to get a cleaner to mop the floor properly. And I still cannot fathom a separate WC in each room with no wash hand basin! The room looked ok but all the doors were cheap, badly fitted and badly painted but the beds were a good size and comfy. We were moved to Grand Club and a suite to make amends which was a nice touch. Room still quite basic but better. Sadly the aircon leaked every 2 days. Buffet food ok. Restaurant food was awful. Asian used freeze dried noodles. Mexican not very Mexican. Grill not great. Italian was ok apart from the service and Ola was by far the best. Thankfully We got a decent price otherwise I'd have been a lot more disappointed but we overheard many unhappy people around the pool stating how bad this place was for 5*. Once again credit to Guest Experience for their efforts!

Fantastic situation in close walking distance to Playa Dorada (great for swimming) and numerous eateries. They even have a place to store bikes in the hotel should you wish to have a spin around the nearby national park
