Probably the best hotel in Jomtien. Excellent pool and good service for when the wifi stopped working, on average twice every day. The whole town feels a bit tired and lazy, to be fair the staff were all very good but don’t expect a business class hotel

I will honestly say I don’t think I would stay here at this property again. For the following reasons. - There was no hot water was only warm and the water pressure was variable no matter what time of day. - The air conditioning unit was very loud and sounded like a jet. So loud that you would almost have to yell to have a conversation. - The room smelled moldy and musty. - The entire hotel decor in rooms & common areas is very old needs updated / remodeled and reminds me of 1970’s Iraq / Middle East palace feel. - The beds are very hard, lumpy and uncomfortable. - We did bring issues to management due to mold smell & AC noise in room 228. They moved us to 229. But had same issues. - Breakfast was sub par, coffee machine was Luke warm, orange juice was powder orange food coloring. Even the omelette station was under cooked & was not hot. Non of the food was hot. Even the pastry’s were stale and not fresh. - I ordered margaritas and pepperoni pizza one evening, sat out at the bar by the street watching the sunset. The margaritas were extremely small in a very small child like sippy cup. I ask for crispy pizza still came out under cooked. - Wood decking around pool has holes and rotten wood so watch your step as you walk around, hope not to get wood splinters in your feet. Over all very clean, safe, convenient over across the street to the beach convenient to entertainment. But it’s kind of a hike walk to any bakeries or coffee shops. Staff very nice & polite

What a beautiful place to stay - The pool is amazing, the location could not be better. Walk out the back gate, turn left and Baht bus stop is 300m down the road right out front of 7-11 store. Hop on Baht bus here and 10baht will take you into pattaya, mikes mall, central, terminal 21… route runs right along second street. It is tucked away so no rowdy late night parties or bars near by. ( there is a quiet little bar and eatery 200m down the road. Quiet though) Breakfast buffet was nice, I had fresh eggs, bacon on toast and cereal with fresh fruit so I saved on buying lunch every day. Do yourself a favour and book the pool access rooms, from your bed it is about 20 steps and you’re in the pool. Doors block out all noise so no problem. But Don’t go overboard, I upgraded to the larger direct pool access room, the one with a spa bath with windows around it in the picture.. it was the last couple of night, why not splurge.. if I stayed in the other cheaper pool access room I would have given 10/10.. the room is nice! But not worth the extra money per night. The other rooms have concrete walls, the premium room has the ability to become a twin room with the room next door, so sound travels through the doors in the wall into next door. And any food (or other) smells from next door come into your room.. I would definitely stay here again! In the pool access rooms, not the delux one.

Très bon accueil. Chambre spacieuse, bien équipée et propre. Grande piscine très agréable. (La piscine a besoin de travaux au niveau des joints et des carreaux de faïence qui se decollent). En front de mer. Petit déjeuner buffet avec du choix.

Kellemes pihenést biztosít, közel mindenhez. Átlagos reggeli, de nem is kell több. Jó medence, kicsit lehetne több napozóágy, de ha időben foglaltunk mindig találtunk.

Kényelmes, nagy méretű szoba, a szálloda a Jomtien part legjobb helyén van. A személyzet kiválò, kedves. A reggeli bőséges választékkal rendelkezik. Szép nagy medence, a tengerpart a kertkaputòl 20 méter. Rengeteg étterem a környéken. Òriási negatìvum a reggeli küzdelem a napozóágyakért, borzasztò minőségű az internet. Van egy beton alapú napozó deck, amit ha műfűvel leborìtanának egy kellemes, barátságos hatást lehetne elérni. Kizárólag idôsebb korosztálynak ajánlott.

Unfortunately due to COVID hotel operating on a skeleton staff No bar or restaurant open Set breakfast menu Instant coffee or tea bag Pool not maintained up to standard water not very clean and as a result best feature of hotel not used which was shame.Had to ask for additional pillows for room and get air conditioning attend to. Hopefully may improve next year when guests return and hotel is fully operational and pool maintained to standard

Das Hotel ist sicher etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Trotzdem gibt man sich grosse Mühe bei der Instandhaltung. Die Zimmer sind recht gross und es fehlt an nichts. Beeindruckt hat mich die Sauberkeit, welche man mit ganz kleinen Tricks gut überprüfen kann. Der Pool ist gross und ebenfalls sehr sauber. Auch die Lage des Hotels hat mir sehr zugesagt. Eine nicht stark befahrene Strasse überqueren und man ist am Strand und kann das Meer geniessen. Auch ist das Hotel verhältnismässig ruhig und man ist mit den günstigen Taxis in 10-15 Minuten im Zentrum, wenn man das sucht. Angeboten wird nur ein Frühstücksbuffet, welches eigentlich reichhaltig genug ist, aber im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels sicher etwas einfacher ist. Mir genügte es jedenfalls. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr bemüht und ausserordentlich freundlich, auch wenn die englische Sprache etwas beschränkt war. Auf jeden Fall ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ausgezeichnet.

Wunderschön Anlage zentral gelegen alles sehr sauber, Hotels wie Zimmern im typischen Thaistil mit liebe zum Detail, traumhafte Poollandschaft, trotzdem direkte Strandlage, die Freundlichkeit, Höflichkeit des gesamten Personl ist besonders hervorzuheben, Vielen Dank an dieses Personal meine Hochachtung. Preis- Leistung unschlagbar, ehr zu gunstig für dieses Haus. PS: wer hier etwas zu meckern oder zu bemängeln sollte zu hause bleiben, sind doch bestimmt eh nur arrogante Deutsche die zu hause den Kitt aus den Fenstern fressen, und im Urlaub den Großen Max spielen, sollen die Idioten an die Ost- oder Nordsee aber da wird das Geld fehlen, und dieses Service inkl der Zimmergröße bekommt man dort sowieso nicht, geschweige denn vom Servicen Jeder Zeit vieder ins Avalong beach Resort.

This is not our first time here. Last was pre-Covid. Upon returning nothing has changed much except perhaps a little more tired. The location is perfect for the beach, especially the gay part. The lobby is open, spacious & clean. The pool is a big drawcard. Stunning & large. Breakfast is perfectly acceptable. The staff are all friendly. The rooms are where the issues for some people may lie. The beds are getting tired & some of the sheets need changing. We had holes in ours. The electrics need modernising. There are no usb ports. The bathroom only has a shower over the bath & getting in & out for older folks is problematic. There is also a lingering odour in a number of area - cleaning products designed to mask even greater odours. For the price I think that Avalon represents a reasonable value. Renovation of the bathrooms would make it so much better but, in the meantime, you could do a lot worse.

プールアクセスの部屋を利用しましたが、部屋専用の小さな庭とチェアがあり、ここから経由してすぐにプールがあります。 客室や共用施設の清掃状況は今ひとつでした。 朝食はタイカレーが本格的でした。 立地は海沿いで、ジョムテインのバスターミナルまで徒歩10分くらい。当日はマラソンの交通規制でタクシーが利用しずらい状況でしたが、バスターミナルまで歩いて移動ができました。

The filthy hallway carpets are really unacceptable and the dim lighting gives the feel of a one star property. The rooms are very clean and well furnished but rather uncomfortable. The furniture is solid wood with thin worn cushions making it rather uncomfortable.

Das Hotel ist sicher etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Trotzdem gibt man sich grosse Mühe bei der Instandhaltung. Die Zimmer sind recht gross und es fehlt an nichts. Beeindruckt hat mich die Sauberkeit, welche man mit ganz kleinen Tricks gut überprüfen kann. Der Pool ist gross und ebenfalls sehr sauber. Auch die Lage des Hotels hat mir sehr zugesagt. Eine nicht stark befahrene Strasse überqueren und man ist am Strand und kann das Meer geniessen. Auch ist das Hotel verhältnismässig ruhig und man ist mit den günstigen Taxis in 10-15 Minuten im Zentrum, wenn man das sucht. Angeboten wird nur ein Frühstücksbuffet, welches eigentlich reichhaltig genug ist, aber im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels sicher etwas einfacher ist. Mir genügte es jedenfalls. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr bemüht und ausserordentlich freundlich, auch wenn die englische Sprache etwas beschränkt war. Auf jeden Fall ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ausgezeichnet.

This is not our first time here. Last was pre-Covid. Upon returning nothing has changed much except perhaps a little more tired. The location is perfect for the beach, especially the gay part. The lobby is open, spacious & clean. The pool is a big drawcard. Stunning & large. Breakfast is perfectly acceptable. The staff are all friendly. The rooms are where the issues for some people may lie. The beds are getting tired & some of the sheets need changing. We had holes in ours. The electrics need modernising. There are no usb ports. The bathroom only has a shower over the bath & getting in & out for older folks is problematic. There is also a lingering odour in a number of area - cleaning products designed to mask even greater odours. For the price I think that Avalon represents a reasonable value. Renovation of the bathrooms would make it so much better but, in the meantime, you could do a lot worse.

I will honestly say I don’t think I would stay here at this property again. For the following reasons. - There was no hot water was only warm and the water pressure was variable no matter what time of day. - The air conditioning unit was very loud and sounded like a jet. So loud that you would almost have to yell to have a conversation. - The room smelled moldy and musty. - The entire hotel decor in rooms & common areas is very old needs updated / remodeled and reminds me of 1970’s Iraq / Middle East palace feel. - The beds are very hard, lumpy and uncomfortable. - We did bring issues to management due to mold smell & AC noise in room 228. They moved us to 229. But had same issues. - Breakfast was sub par, coffee machine was Luke warm, orange juice was powder orange food coloring. Even the omelette station was under cooked & was not hot. Non of the food was hot. Even the pastry’s were stale and not fresh. - I ordered margaritas and pepperoni pizza one evening, sat out at the bar by the street watching the sunset. The margaritas were extremely small in a very small child like sippy cup. I ask for crispy pizza still came out under cooked. - Wood decking around pool has holes and rotten wood so watch your step as you walk around, hope not to get wood splinters in your feet. Over all very clean, safe, convenient over across the street to the beach convenient to entertainment. But it’s kind of a hike walk to any bakeries or coffee shops. Staff very nice & polite

What a beautiful place to stay - The pool is amazing, the location could not be better. Walk out the back gate, turn left and Baht bus stop is 300m down the road right out front of 7-11 store. Hop on Baht bus here and 10baht will take you into pattaya, mikes mall, central, terminal 21… route runs right along second street. It is tucked away so no rowdy late night parties or bars near by. ( there is a quiet little bar and eatery 200m down the road. Quiet though) Breakfast buffet was nice, I had fresh eggs, bacon on toast and cereal with fresh fruit so I saved on buying lunch every day. Do yourself a favour and book the pool access rooms, from your bed it is about 20 steps and you’re in the pool. Doors block out all noise so no problem. But Don’t go overboard, I upgraded to the larger direct pool access room, the one with a spa bath with windows around it in the picture.. it was the last couple of night, why not splurge.. if I stayed in the other cheaper pool access room I would have given 10/10.. the room is nice! But not worth the extra money per night. The other rooms have concrete walls, the premium room has the ability to become a twin room with the room next door, so sound travels through the doors in the wall into next door. And any food (or other) smells from next door come into your room.. I would definitely stay here again! In the pool access rooms, not the delux one.

De kamer die wij geboekt hadden maakte veel goed, alhoewel ook hier een en ander aan renovatie toe was. Deuren die niet sluiten, uit de kast vallende planken en een likje verf zou ook niet misstaan. Gezelligheid is hier niet te vinden. Locatie daarentegen perfect. En daar gaat het eigenlijk ook om.

Unfortunately due to COVID hotel operating on a skeleton staff No bar or restaurant open Set breakfast menu Instant coffee or tea bag Pool not maintained up to standard water not very clean and as a result best feature of hotel not used which was shame.Had to ask for additional pillows for room and get air conditioning attend to. Hopefully may improve next year when guests return and hotel is fully operational and pool maintained to standard

I traveled alone to Pattaya for a few days of relaxing holiday and this hotel provided me the space! It's located right at the beach and hotel staff is very friendly. The pool is nice and so are the breakfast options as well as lunch/dinner. Would return again!

Wir hatten das Zimmer 430 - obere Etage und nah am Strand. Schöner Aussicht. Frühstück buffet mit viel Auswahl ( Thai und Western). Pool super - ca 25 m lang ideal auch zum schwimmen. Gut gelegen in jomtien mit einem breiten Auswahl an Restaurants.

Nice classical hotel at the beach. Due to covid was breakfast basic, no choices, but we'll served and taken care. Also kitchen closed. Had a very pleasant stay

Even the omelette station was under cooked & was not hot. Non of the food was hot. Even the pastry’s were stale and not fresh. - I ordered margaritas and pepperoni pizza one evening, sat out at the bar by the street watching the sunset. The margaritas were extremely small in a very small child like sippy cup. I ask for crispy pizza still came out under cooked. - Wood decking around pool has holes and rotten wood so watch your step as you walk around, hope not to get wood splinters in your feet. Over all very clean, safe, convenient over across the street to the beach convenient to entertainment. But it’s kind of a hike walk to any bakeries or coffee shops. Staff very nice & polite

プールアクセスの部屋を利用しましたが、部屋専用の小さな庭とチェアがあり、ここから経由してすぐにプールがあります。 客室や共用施設の清掃状況は今ひとつでした。 朝食はタイカレーが本格的でした。 立地は海沿いで、ジョムテインのバスターミナルまで徒歩10分くらい。当日はマラソンの交通規制でタクシーが利用しずらい状況でしたが、バスターミナルまで歩いて移動ができました。

Très bon accueil. Chambre très spacieuse, propre et bien équipée. Balcon. Grand choix pour le petit déjeuner buffet. Très grande piscine bien aménagée. Très bien situé.

Wir hatten das Zimmer 430 - obere Etage und nah am Strand. Schöner Aussicht. Frühstück buffet mit viel Auswahl ( Thai und Western). Pool super - ca 25 m lang ideal auch zum schwimmen. Gut gelegen in jomtien mit einem breiten Auswahl an Restaurants.

Unfortunately due to COVID hotel operating on a skeleton staff No bar or restaurant open Set breakfast menu Instant coffee or tea bag Pool not maintained up to standard water not very clean and as a result best feature of hotel not used which was shame.Had to ask for additional pillows for room and get air conditioning attend to. Hopefully may improve next year when guests return and hotel is fully operational and pool maintained to standard

The pool had Brocken tiles in it.broken tiles on walkways. Had pay extra for direct step in to the pool, fals advertising, one just get a seating balcony , one dot get they own pool bead by your room. Rooms and bathrooms needs major renovations. Dangerous to take a shower, since is in the bathtub , and there are no rails to hold on to nothing to grab while one stand in the tub to shower, it’s necessary for safety and for older people.a/c leaked in room and spill water all over the floor overnight.

Not worth the price. The pool is falling apart. The breakfast is mediocre and only served in non aircon hot environment. The gym is very limited and no aircon. The bed is not hard but not comfortable. Some staff also not helpful. Not what I would expect from 5 stars. On the plus side it was quiet and near the beach.

A nice beach fronted property, friendly staff and clean room. However the property is need restoration, the deck around the pool has seen much better days and is soft in places. The pool itself is nice but again in need of some work, missing and loose tiles in places. The woodwork on the balcony could do with restaining.

Resort was so beautiful staff amazing. Breakfast was yummy..pool lovely..Our room was gorgeous we were on the 4th floor had a rap around balcony with a beach veiw. Will definately be back..
