The 'PS Waverley', the only remaining sea going paddle steamer in the world, stops off at Blairmore pier regularly in the summer months and a trip on this magnificent vessel would be one of the highlights of your holiday. The nearest pub, serving good food, is just a one mile stroll along the shore road, where you will also find the local newsagent and post office.There is also a scenic golf course in Blairmore which welcomes visitors. You have plenty of activities to fill your day. This area is very popular among walkers, cyclists and sailors, while the delightful town of Dunoon rests just a few miles away and is served by a regular bus service.
