There are splendid walking and cycling trails to be discovered nearby, whilst the popular seaside town of Whitby, with its long sandy beaches and cobbled streets, is just a short, scenic drive away. Discover the elegant spa town of Saltburn to the north, or take a trip to the second spa town of Scarborough a little further to the south - both will afford pleasant days out as you explore the independent shops, tea rooms and art galleries.
