Stayed 2 nights

The property was usable, but several issues detracted from the stay:1. VERY thin walls. If you are a light sleeper, don't expect to get much quality sleep. Casual conversations and walking in the basement can be heard anywhere in the home. 2. Cleanliness and conditionThe home was not properly cleaned prior to arrival and appeared worn. There was significant dust throughout, and some areas showed signs of not being cleaned for some time. We found empty cleaning bottles in closets, cracks in doors, holes in walls, peeling couches, and the fireplace ash had not been cleared.3. Misleading listing photos and layoutThe listing suggests four separate bedrooms, which is inaccurate. The loft “bedroom” is open to the living room with no door or privacy. In the basement, the bed is located within the den/common area, so the downstairs living space doubles as the fourth bedroom with no separation. Only two bedrooms have proper doors and privacy.4. Excessive feesThere is a 25 fee for more than three trash bags over a weekend and 5 per fireplace log. At this price point, these basic items should be included. 5. Lack of basic suppliesGuests must bring their own trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, paper towels, spices, shampoo, and soap. Aside from the initial trash bags and one dishwasher pod, supplies were minimal.Overall, cleanliness, layout accuracy, fees, and lack of essentials negatively impacted the experience. Priced high for the quality of the stay.

A peaceful and quiet a place as you'd want to be. A great place for a Musician's retreat. I'd like to talk to someone about reserving all of the cottages and the Log Cabin for 3 or 4 nights in late April or early May 26. Please email me at peyton.youmans@gmail.com.

Loved the look and setting of a true log cabin atmosphere. Ample space to hang out with all amenities provided. Only comment would be seemed a bit dark (light bulbs dead and may more lighting needed in the fire place/family area. Just enough distance to not be too far from Elk Mountain. We would go again!

This house was perfect for us for a long ski weekend. There was plenty of space for eight of us, plus two dogs. Very cool log cabin vibe. We loved the gigantic fire place. The kitchen was well equipped for what we needed. The house is in decent proximity to Elk Mountainand about a 2.5 hour drive from Philly. Check in/out was very easy. It was awesome that we could bring our dogs. Only suggestion—we could have used some instructions for the downstairs shower. We all loved our stay here, even the pups, and would definitely recommend it!!
