Alojamiento rural con 6 plazas para alquiler completo o por habitaciones, situado en Sierra Mágina (Pegalajar, Jaén) donde disfrutar del sabor de lo antiguo en una antigua casa de labradores, restaurada para poder ofrecer una experiencia diferente, relajante, acogedora y rodeada de comodidades. La casa, recién restaurada, es un espacio acogedor, evocador de tiempos antiguos, singular en definitiva, en el que se ha respetado la antigua estructura, pero totalmente reformada empleando para ello materiales como la piedra, madera y metal, para ofrecer la máxima comodidad y confort. Se ha decorado utilizando mobiliario antiguo restaurado en su mayoría por nosotros mismos. Sus anchos muros ayudan a conservar una temperatura constante, aunque tenemos apoyo tecnológico, con aire acondicionado y calefacción en todas las habitaciones. En la sala de estar se dispone de chimenea, sofás, Tv, video, Hi-Fi, zona de comedor… Seguro que pasas una buena sobremesa, al calor del fuego y la buena conversación! Las plantas, el mini-huerto, dan al patio un aire fresco, un lugar sin duda para compartir buenos ratos. Los olores a tierra mojada, a vegetación, relajan y refrescan las noches de verano. Actualmente contamos con tres dormitorios dobles (dos con camas dobles y otro con cama de matrimonio) 2 baños, uno compartido para dos dormitorios (verde y azul) y otro integrado en uno de ellos (buhardilla). La capacidad total está pensada para seis personas. El pueblo está a 5 minutos a pie, allí encontraras todos los servicios esenciales: ambulatorio, farmacia, iglesia, parada de autobús, polideportivo, piscina pública, supermercados, tiendas, etc. En Pegalajar puedes visitar "La Charca" (embalse en el centro del pueblo, que recoge las aguas del nacimiento de la Fuente de la Reja desde tiempo inmemorial), el antiguo lavadero, la iglesia, construida sobre el antiguo castillo que aún conserva parte de sus murallas y entrada (arco de la Encarnación), la ermita, las huertas… En Sierra Mágina existen multitud de senderos y pistas de montaña donde encontrarás magníficos paisajes, para disfrutar de la naturaleza, de la fotografía y tener tranquilidad para descansar. ¿Qué hacer? • Practicar senderismo, bicicleta de montaña (senderos con salida desde la casa), escalada (vías abiertas de escalada a 1000 mts.) y parapente (pista de despegue "Siete Pilillas" a 1200 mts.) ¡No olvides tu cámara, te llevaras como recuerdo paisajes impresionantes! • Disfrutar del "tapeo", la cocina tradicional y las copas en los bares, restaurantes y pubs de Pegalajar. • Visitar las almazaras del pueblo (fabricas de aceite) para comprar de primera mano y sin intermediarios nuestro aceite puro de oliva "virgen extra" y ver su proceso de elaboración. • Visitar ciudades cercanas: -Jaén (18 km) con su catedral, casco antiguo, castillo, museos, tascas… -Úbeda y Baeza (40 km), ciudades patrimonio de la humanidad. -Granada (80 km) -Los pueblos de Sierra Mágina, con sus particularidades y belleza singular: Cambil, Huelma, Bélmez de la Moraleda, Bedmar, Jimena, Torres, Albanchez de Mágina, etc. ENGLISH Situated in Sierra Mágina (Pegalajar), Casa Rural offers a spectacular environment for people who want to enjoy a relaxing country getaway, or hike some easy-to-challenging trails among the olive, almond and pine trees in the surrounding mountains. This 300-year-old former farmer house has been restored perfectly with modern fittings and all necessities to provide the maximum comfort for the guests. It accommodates 6 people in 3 tastefully decorated bedrooms. The house, a former home for farmers, recently renovated to make an ultimately cozy space reminiscent of ancient times. We have respected the old structure, but completely refurbished for this purpose using materials like stone, wood and metal, while trying to attain the maximum comfort. We also decorated the house with antique furniture which were retouched mostly by ourselves. The thick walls of this stone house help maintain a stable temperature, although we have supported with new technology such as air conditioning and heating systems in all rooms, and hot water in all bathrooms. In the living room there are fireplace, sofas, TV, CD & DVD players, dining area... sure that you will spend a good time with good conversation by the fireplace or the patio outside ! The patio is surrounded by plants and vegetables and is flowed with fresh air. The lovely aroma of wet soil and vegetation bring about very relaxing and cool summer nights. Currently we have three double bedrooms (two with 2 single beds and one with one double bed), 2 bathrooms, one shared by two bedrooms (Green and Blue) and another integrated into one Attic (Loft). The total capacity is designed for six guests with coziness and ease. The village is just 5-minute-walk away, there you will find all the essential services: bars, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, church, hospital, pharmacy, bus stop, sports center and public swimming pool, etc. In Pegalajar you can visit "The Pond" (La Charca, a reservoir in the village center, which collects the water from the source of Fountain of Reja since the ancient time). You can also visit the old laundry house and the church which was built over the ancient castle that still retains some of its walls and entrance (arc of the Incarnation), the chapel, the vegetable gardens ... In Mágina mountain range there are many hiking trails and mountain paths where you will find magnificent scenery and enjoy photography of nature as well as the peace of mind. What To Do? • Hiking, mountain biking (trails leaving from the house), mountain climbing (climbing routes start at 1000 mts.). And Paragliding (runway in "Siete Pilillas" at 1200 mts. hights) Do not forget to bring your camera as you'll take many stunning photos as souvenirs! • Enjoy "tapas", traditional Andalucia cuisine and drinks in bars, restaurants and pubs in Pegalajar. • Visit the village mills (oil mills) to see the manufacturing process and to buy the first hand pure olive oil "extra virgin" without middlemen. • Visit nearby cities: -Jaén (18 km) with its cathedral, old town, castle, museums, famous restaurants and bars ... -Úbeda and Baeza (40 km), heritage cities of humanity. -Granada (80km) -The villages of Sierra Mágina, with their special characteristics and unique beauty: Cambil, Huelma, Belmez, Bedmar, Jimena Torres, Albanchez de Mágina, etc. The house (VTAR / JA / 00629) is located on the outskirts of Pegalajar (Jaén), in the area called "French Garden (Huerto del Francés)" at the foot of nature park "Sierra Mágina". To get there take exit 50 of the A-44 (Bailen-Granada), the house is just 5 km by the road. You can also reach the village by the A-316. From Mancha Real, you can arrive by the road 3241 JA. Without a car you can also take the bus from Jaén to Pegajalar, the bus runs in several daily schedules (except weekends and holidays). You can reach Jaén by train or bus.
