This large, traditional farmhouse on the beautiful Lizard peninsula offers the ideal base for a family or group of friends in Cornwall. Set on a working farm in a peaceful rural location, it has access to a shared indoor pool and a wonderful large private garden. Sleeping nine guests across four bedrooms, it offers plenty of space for everyone. There are activities for all ages within a half-hour drive, from paddling and sandcastle-building on the soft sands of Kynance Cove to coasteering and kayaking along the dramatic coastline near Lizard Point. At the heart of the farmhouse is an airy lounge/dining room, with large, comfortable sofas, a cosy fire and a dining table that benefits from the natural light pouring in through the attractive bay window, offering lovely views of the pretty garden outside. Adjacent to the well-equipped kitchen, this lovely, welcoming lounge is perfect for socialising after a day out in the sea air. Sit down to a delicious meal together before relaxing in front of a film, playing a family board game, or just enjoying some laughter and good conversation over a bottle of wine. Upstairs, on the first and second floors, the four bedrooms are all comfortable and tastefully furnished in largely neutral colours. The bunk bedroom on the first floor is ideal for children, and the family room on the second floor is perfect for a couple with a child. With both a spacious, contemporary shower room and a family bathroom, there should be no arguments over bathroom time. Outside, there is a large, grassed garden with a sweeping driveway and two picnic tables, perfect for a morning coffee or a chilled drink in the sunshine while the little ones let off steam on the lawn.
