Family Friendly Lake House: Lake Pocotopaug, Fire-pit, Kayaks, Canoe. Sunsets.

Loved our stay by the lake. Beautiful views and the house is wonderfully stocked with anything you would need! Would totally stay here again sometime.

The lake house was in a perfect setting, right on the lake and the house was fully equipped. Kris thought of everything. The house was very clean and well kept. We had a great family getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The views from the multiple levels were amazing. Sunsets were spectacular also out over the water. The house itself was clean, well stocked and everything was labeled for ease of use which was a nice touch. We were on the water daily, either kayaking around the calm lake, bobbing in the water on floats trying to escape the heat and one day we even docked our kayaks across the way and went up into the Lakeside Grill for lunch, which was delicious and such a fun highlight. One negative I would say was the stairs can be a little difficult to traverse for older folk. Our Mom had a hard time with them and mainly stayed downstairs, but of course had to head upstairs to use the showers. One day she tripped coming down, so I would suggest being very careful since they are not a normal depth. Also one thing that we realized half way through was that the place had no smells of moisture or mildew. We have stayed at a lot of Lake Houses and the majority have a musky smell, but not here at all. Such a small thing but such a pleasant relief! So overall an amazing week, in an amazing house with a stupendous view!! Thanks so much!!!

The house was great and there were so many nice details! The owners responded quickly to any questions. It was a wonderful place to stay.
