Vitor is a gracious host. The house is equipped with everything you need down to beach towels and a cooler. Bonus was feeding the turkey, geese, and chickens behind the fence every day. A word of advice, European driers are not near as effective as American driers because they are not plumbed with drier vent, but the owner did have a drying rack to help facilitate drying our laundry.
Vitor is a gracious host. The house is equipped with everything you need down to beach towels and a cooler. Bonus was feeding the turkey, geese, and chickens behind the fence every day. A word of advice, European driers are not near as effective as American driers because they are not plumbed with drier vent, but the owner did have a drying rack to help facilitate drying our laundry.

This is a fantastic property located in an island-central village and was exactly what we wanted. While Ponta Delgada has more of an urban feel - we wanted something just a little off the beaten path but still easy access to amenities. The house is a walk or short drive to restaurants, the market, small cafés, and the beach yet retains the quaint, Azores village feeling we wanted. The house was well appointed with many kitchen tools, extra towels/linens, washer/dryer, back yard, late-day sun deck, parking, and high speed wifi. It even had some toys and games for the kids! Our host was terrific and accommodated our early check-in/late check-out requests. The host was responsive (less than 5 min responses over WhatsApp). Highly recommended - you won't be disappointed!
