You could not see the beach or access the beach.The fenced in backyard was nice for our dog.

We enjoyed this seaview cottage! Plenty of room for our family vacation. We were disappointed that the house was locked (email had said it was unlocked with keys inside). So after a long trip there, we had to call, leave a message, agent returned call, she had to go get a key and come let us in. Then she wanted to do an inspection before we could move in. So we were almost an hour waiting after our expected 4:00 check-in. That was disappointing, but we still enjoyed our visit .

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here six times and found it a good location for the pets and people. It's on the Beachview Drive bike path, making it easy to bike to the Village Market area or anywhere else, for that matter. The fact that we have stayed here so often says it all. It's a quiet, comfortable base from which to explore and relax on Jekyll Island.

Came for a wedding. Everything was great about the property, but wasn’t prepared that their wouldn’t be salt and pepper shakers.
