Baymont by Wyndham Logan

The location to Hocking Hills is excellent. Unfortunately, the breakfast offerings were slim, the ice machine was broken and the hot tub had been covered over. The room was a bit tight but the beds were comfortable.

Air conditioner wasn't working well and casing to it was falling apart smelled like mildew in the room no hot tub even tho pics of pool showed hot tub breakfast wasn't the best your door to our room kept jamming up ice machine wasn't working none of the vending machines wasn't working

The parking lot was not plowed. It was difficult to park and walk into the building.

The hotel is old and can use updating, but it was clean overall. The only disappointment was a hot tub is listed as an amenity, but when we got there we found there is no longer a hot tub in the corner by the pool. They filled it in with concrete. The amenities section and pictures of the non-existent hot tub needs updating on this site.

It was awful. Holes in wall,edges of tables wore out, top of night stand peeling off. 1 wash cloth and 2 hand towels. Fridge with no freezer.NO ELEVATORS AT ALL. Beds were uncomfortable. Piaid $169 for 1 nightmare. It was not on the absolute worse condition of any hotel that I had ever seen

The non smoking room smelled like smoke. The coffee was terribly watery even for hotel coffee and the cheap styrofoam cups with ill fitting lids cause disastrous messes and burn hazards. It makes no sense that a hotel this size has no water dispenser even at breakfast. The staff was nice enough. Pool was a comfortable temp. FYI no elevator.

We chose this hotel because of the hot tub in the pool picture. After a day of hiking, I was looking forward to the hot tub. Unfortunately, they filled it in. The rooms were ok, bathroom was old. Pillows shouldn't be called pillows. The hot water came and went while we showered. We only stayed one night and weren't looking for luxury but my son commented that our house is better than the hotel.

Nice comfy pool was great

Stayed here while visiting Hocking hills for the week. It’s good for the price but nothing extraordinary. Fairly outdated but still pretty clean. Close to Walmart and other stores. The pool was the best part! I would stay again

Pictures are dated. There is no hot tub even though photos picture one. Hotel rooms need updating it has been quite awhile.

Dirty carpets . Old decor. Peeling paint on walls. Rusty dirty lamp fixtures above sink. Just a gross feeling overall.

The room smelled like mold. Stains everywhere. Stayed 3 days room was never cleaned. Horrible management

Location was good for me as it was close to my destination of Hocking Hills State Park. While the room was clean overall - the carpet was dirty.

Found a live roach in the room and killed it

Both room and facility were dirty.

Room was damp/mold. Found a vape cartridge on the floor. Stains on towels, sheets, blankets, walls. Remote didn’t wotk.

My pillow was like a bunch of rolled up socks it was so lumpy. The bathtub ran all the time. The room smelled musty as soon as you walked in. The bathroom door was so warped it wouldn't shut.

Room was spotless. We had last minute plans changed and ended up with kiddos. Once the management had noticed with no question offer to upgrade our room at no charge. We were definitely greatful for that. Thank you to all the staff for being so kind and helpful. Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in logan ohio to go here for there stay.

Extremely musty smelling. Several hairs on bathroom floor and tub. Big cracks in wall above headboard. Sheets feel very damp. Overall, very unclean, old, and very smelly.

Awesome stay, room was very clean. Place was quiet and service was exceptional.

The first room we had was very shabby and worn. The toilet was broken so we were moved to another room which was in better condition. Nice pool and ok breakfast.

Rooms a little dated

We normally stay at another hotel in Logan when we come down. They were fully booked so we took a chance on a much more expensive option with Baymont By Wyndham Logan. We normally stay at a cabin or the Sleep Inn. Upon arrival we felt just from the parking lot we were going to be disappointed, seemed run down and not updated. Don't know how to explain it, just not as nice as less expensive options in the area. Hotel desk clerk was pleasant and courteous. No problems with check-in. Room was very dated. Instead of a nice table and chair there was metal patio furniture in our room with several coats of black paint I assume to cover the rust, wish I had taken a picture. The desk had a wobbly & partially broken chair in it. The AC/heater unit was very noisy & made it difficult to sleep. Either be too hot or cold or try to sleep through the noise. Bed was decent, room was fairly clean, everything just seemed dated. We booked for 2 nights as we had business in town for the weekend. We concluded our business Saturday evening after 10PM and instead of suffering through another night with the loud HVAC and the room itself we decided to just pack our things and drive home that night. Needing updates is fine but it should be reflected in the price. No way should this hotel be charging $550 for a weekend in it's current condition. We normally can book a weekend at Sleep Inn for $300-$350 and it is much newer/nicer than this hotel. Will definitely not be staying again

Initially they put me in a conference room with only overhead lighting. I did not like that. There was not a coffee maker in the room, and also the carpet in the hallways seemed pretty dirty. Loaded in the bathroom ceiling

Room was last at the end of the hall (127). It had obviously been used prior as a conference room. It had a murphy bad. It had a king mattress on box springs on a frame, ON THE FLOOR. 16-18 inches top to bottom. All the furniture was mismatched. The TV stand/dresser doors were falling off and located 22 feet from the bed. The TV was only able to be turned up so high and was hard to hear that distance from the bed. Bed was poor, small pillows worse. Bedspread frayed and ripped on top in very poor condition. Internet did NOT work. Room telephone did NOT work. Front desk unhelpful. Bathroom was even worse. Ceiling peeling off in multiple locations, toilet loose at floor and 16 inches from shower/tub, small sink with NO place to put anything. bedside lamps were lousy. Hotel to cheap to equip with 3 way bulbs. Free breakfast was so bad we left and went across the street to McDonalds. WILL NEVER STAY IN THIS CHAIN AGAIN.

Hotel rooms are so old. Bathroom is so small. I have back pain after a night.

Safe did not work, WIFI was very limited, facility was very outdated. Could hear people walking across the upstairs all night was very hard to sleep and not much of a selection for breakfast.

The check-in staff was friendly and there were plenty of towels in the room. Check-put was easy The TV was sitting sideways and in a place that it was easy to bump There were no USB charging ports There was some kind of stain on the shower curtain and the bathroom felt pretty generally dirty

My son hopped into the pool from the side of the deep end. Not a dive, not a leap, just hopped back in after getting out to get something. The front desk attendant came running into the pool room to berate us about following the pool rules and said “this is your first and only warning and the next time I will have you removed from the hotel.” It was SO aggressive and intimidating, to be threatened with having no place to stay and physical removal from the hotel from one innocent and unintentional rules violation. I felt very unsafe and wanted to leave but could not find another option. As we went to leave the pool another family came in. I warned the other mom about the aggressive rules enforcement and as we were talking her small child, maybe 3, jumped into the pool. The hotel employee came back and gave the same “I will have you removed line” and as she was talking the child jumped in again, before his mom had time to address the behavior. The employee started SCREAMING at the mom and told them they were kicked out. My kids and I fled the pool area as she shouted. An hour later there were cop cars, I think the hotel called the cops on a poor mom whose only crime was an excited kid who jumped into the pool. And, the halls were filthy and smelled like smoke, there is no elevator, and the breakfast was absolutely awful. Minimal options and no water available to drink in the whole hotel.

Made a reservation got checked in left, went to dinner and site seeing to come back and went to room which was occupied by someone else that i opened the door on. Was very embarrassing.

Front staff who checked me in were amazingly patient with me when I questioned leaving a card for incidentals. She explained everything and was very kind to me. Wish I knew her name.

Everything looked clean from check in to the room, nicely decorated. Check in staff was very friendly. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

This property was selected based on the online pictures. It was completely different from what was represented in the pictures. The room was old, outdated and falling apart. The laminate on the nightstands, dresser was separated and peeling off. The paint was all chipped on the walls, ceiling. There were holes in the walls that were not even fixed and you could see the white dry wall behind it. The carpet had drywall dust covering it where they had drilled to put up the TV. The sink area was being held up by screws drilled right into the ceramic side of the sink. It was deplorable. And the staff was rude. The vending machine didn't accept bills. I went to the front desk and was told they don't give change so I could go to the gas station down the street ( it was 11:30 at night). When I went to check out the attendant rolled her eyes at me and sighed heavily. I asked for a receipt and she again rolled her eyes and then threw the receipt at me. She actually never even said a word to me. Don't waste your time staying here!! I don't typically write a review but it was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I actually took pictures so that I could also post a review online as well as let the owner know. I would remove this hotel from the Expedia list, it gives Expedia a bad reputation.

I have stayed at the logan location twice and both times i really enjoyed how nice and helpful the staff was. When i visit logan again i will be staying at the same hotel! :)

Staff was friendly and easy to talk to. Room was clean. Air conditioner worked great. Ice machine worked. Bed was comfortable. Pool area was clean. Breakfast was filling.

Older building, could definitely use some upgrades but the convenience of its location was huge! We weren’t there to lay around in the room only to shower, sleep, and nap a bit. We loved the location the most! We visited lots of different places in Hocking Hills we may not have visited, if we were staying somewhere else. Great first time experience to HH. I would stay there again.

Close to Hocking Hills.

The price was excellent, the room clean, and the beds seemed to be new & VERY comfortable. The room showed small signs of being older (some scrapes on the walls and such, but it was definitely well cared for and who cares about scrapes on the walls? Also, the breakfast was not tasty; the eggs tasted like they came from a powder mix or something. But, again, with the affordability, we'd have been happy with English Muffins and coffee. The pool area looked super nice, but we didn't have time to use it. The location is excellent; a short walk to an antique mall and a fabulous family restaurant. Perfectly located for our excursions to Hocking Hills State Park. PERFECT!

There was no elevator. Also one end of the hotel was near the American Legion and the music was very loud late at night. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was ok. Hotel was out dated

So convenient to the many things to do in Hocking hills

Location was very convenient to shopping and food. Environment was clean and staff was friendly. Loved the jacuzzi tub! The pool was an enjoyable attraction as well.

So many places to eat. Close to downtown. Refrigerator wouldn't work; had to find an outlet in the room to plug in the clock/alarm.

It was well located for the places we wished to visit in the Hocking Hills region.

location is perfect,downtown with lot of restaurents, gas, grocer, walmart nearby.

The room was satisfactory but there was definitely no “wow factor”. Hallways were stuffy and and poorly ventilated. Parking lot was dirty. Beds seemed clean but tiny pillows. Only three bath towels for a four person occupancy. Breakfast was mediocre.

We loved this hotel. So much fun. Great breakfast with biscuits and gravy, bacon and sausage

My wife and I really love the area of Logan.We have stayed at Baymont several times.The staff and the whole facility are great.Will be back in about 5 months.

The lady that checked us in was extremely helpful as we had accidentally booked the wrong date through Expedia and she contacted Expedia on our behalf to make the change. The hotel was clean and the pool looked ok (however we didn't use it). The only downside was the continental breakfast..very few options, the coffee was terrible and and the staff was quick to restock items..overall the hotel was ok though

Beds were very comfortable, it was clean, and staff was pleasant and helpful. Only real negative was the breakfast, very few options and they ran out of a lot before we got there. If you are looking for a free breakfast this doesn’t really cut it. It would be helpful if they had a waffle iron, some more hot items, a variety of fruit, and a juice machine. Different varieties of tea would also be a nice addition. Step it up Baymont!

Hello, I guess we would have only one complaint. The so-called breakfast was a real joke! Everyone who was coming in was just looking around, and thinking the same thing we were. Where’s the food? So they would just leave.

The breakfast was sub-standard. The choices were minimal and they ran out of some of those items on two of the days.

Bad. The experience started off with expedia booking. Expedia gave prices for regular and non-smoking rooms with the non-smoking room a little more expensive. I chose the non-smoking room and paid a little extra. I get to the hotel and they confirm the entire property is NON-smoking. We get to room 234, a king suite with a jacuzzi tub. We enter the room and are hit with a smell of mold/ mildew, most likely due to the carpet that went all the way up the tub. The tiles around the tub are broken and loose. I turned the faucet to the tub on and black pieces fly out of it. There was hair over the toilet and in the shower. The kleenex box was loose from the wall. You had to slam the bathroom door shut to close it and the same with the room door. The breakfast could not even be called that. The egg paties tasted like powder and the biscuits were hard and falling apart. Lack of options.
