Baymont by Wyndham Tupelo

Pictures are never ture when booking with any hotel, or Airbnb. Then reviews are not always true, but I was so so sad to about this whole weekend. From the time I walked in the door of the smell, hot, and the room I booked was a mess hot tub didnt work due to the water being turned off by someone not sure who. Room was a very nasty, deadbolt didnt lock at all. Was moved to another room over night, and that one wasnt the best, but they took price down cause I had all the pictures in the world. Very uncomfortable stay for someone who was trying to celebrate their 45th bday with ME TIME 💔😭

Our room was a little dated but the bed was comfortable.

The biggest issue with this hotel is that there is no elevator. Interior room door with no elevator is really just unheard of. It never occurred to me to ask. They gave rolling carts to get your luggage in. Why? Just for first floor use I guess. We purchased the suite-the most expensive room they have. It has a jacuzzi tub. We were allowed two extra towels. We were allowed 4 bath towels total on a $250 a night room. The pool closed at 9pm. It’s an indoor pool right by the lobby. Why close it so early? It would have been nice to swim after dinner but unless you eat at 5pm on a Saturday night you won’t get to. It was dated but decently clean. For the money, I expected better.

No vending machines, just limited selection of drinks and snacks for cash only in lobby. No real breakfast options for diabetics.

Was a great place to stop to spend the night while traveling,Miss Nancy is amazing! She made us feel so welcome and was very helpful,traveling with my service dog,Baymont is very pet friendly,we will definitely stay here again on our travels south in the future!
