The property was wonderful!

We stayed here 2 nights in September and had a nice time. The host is very responsive, the instructions on check-in were sent to us a few days before with the check-out instructions also included. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a bouquet of fresh flowers, a welcome sign to our family and in the living room were water bottles and chocolates. The house is nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The three bedrooms and one bathroom/shower are upstairs while the living rooms, dining room, kitchen and full bath are downstairs. I loved the view of the CT river from the dining room table. The kitchen is well equipped. They had both a Keurig and regular drop coffee maker. There is a firepit/chairs overlooking the river, a huge playset to occupy young children, an outdoor table/seats/umbrella and another section with cushioned chairs overlooking the river. I loved the motivational artwork messages around the house. Hold on to the railing walking down the stairs and the train goes by so quick you hardly notice. There is parking for 2-3 cars depending on the size. The front door lock must be in the East-to-West position to lock. If it's in the North-to-South position it will remain unlocked. You can open it from the inside in the East-to-West position. Just remember your code to get back in. There is no deadlock as an extra security measure. I would recommend bringing your own shampoo/conditioner/soap/shower gel. This was a nice home and we had a good time.
