The guest house was very clean and comfortable. Perfectly situated on a bus route 10 mins from the city centre. Management very friendly and helpful. Allowed me to leave my car in the parking space even though we had checked out. Oxford city centre very expensive parking.

Loved the location of this place, within walking distance to shops, cafes and pubs. Bus Stop close by and easy to catch the bus into the city. The bed was uncomfortable, was way too firm and I woke with a sore back each morning. Basic necessities supplied, but again no tissues, so bring your own. There is no toaster or microwave either so just the minimum coffee and tea making facilities. Continental breakfast is charged as an extra, but there are cafes down the road which are easy to get to - just get there early as they fill up quickly. The shower does not get overly hot and is so noisy. Overall, our stay was ok. Not sure how ratings are done in the UK but definitely not a 4 star more like a 3 to 3.5

Couldn’t fault the staff they were amazing. And prompt, even letting us check in a little early. The guest house is right next to a bus stop making it easy to get into Oxford itself. Along with having off road packing for guests cars. It was clean tidy presentable. And even had little quirks of Alice in wonderland going up the stairs which added a little character

Excellent position for John Radcliffe hospital. Pami is a super host ,so welcoming. Nothing seemed to much trouble .. Plentiful parking (off street) Just perfect.

They were very accommodating. They let us check in and park in the lot early. It was an easy walk to Oxford Brookes University. There is a bus stop right out front making it easy to travel around Oxford.

Firstly, we had a warm welcome on arrival. Pami and her husband were very helpful. The guest house, which is set back from the road with dozen or so parking spaces, is on a main bus route into Oxford and close to bus stops in each direction. Heading to shops and a fuel station are a minute or so walk. The room was spacious and clean with a walk-in shower in the en suite. Their Continental breakfast set us up for the day. It includes warm bread, a platter of cheeses and separately cold meats as well as eggs, conserves, yogurts, toast and tea, coffee or hot chocolate. We enjoyed our stay at the Red Mullions guest house and next time we visit Oxford would be happy to stay there again.

More bad than good , Handy for town with free parking ,friendly staff even tho training she was lovely but….. attention to detail !! the toilet needs a good clean under the rim cobwebs in bathroom weren’t Pleasant , and hairs on the sheets let alone the fact that you could feel every spring in the mattress , ( room 16 ) please get a new one or at least a topper , wouldn’t go back ..

Wow!!! What a lovely surprise. We expected just your average guesthouse, but we were blown away. This place was so lovely. The guest house and our room were exceptionally clean. The owners had thought of everything: iron, ironing board, hairdryer, lovely-smelling products in the bathroom, kettle, Biscoff biscuits to go with the tea or coffee. Plenty of towels. Despite being on the top floor, the shower was powerful. We had really comfortable beds and slept like babies. It took us less than 10 minutes to get into Oxford in an Uber, which cost less than £10. The staff are adorable. We will definitely be going back soon.

When we arrived we had a lovely warm welcome by Pam. Pam showed us our room we were staying in which was on the ground floor as I have difficulty with walking. The room was lovely and clean and comfortable. It is close to great restaurants and pubs and shopping. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast and great service. I would like to say to Pam and Julie thank you for a lovely stay. And if I ever come to Oxford again, I will definitely come to visit again and stay with them. Thank you so much.

The mattress wasn’t fit for purpose, it gave us back aches, we hardly slept all night. How anyone would think that was an acceptable mattress and to charge £125 for the pleasure??

Nice location, very accessible. Bus stop a few blocks from the House. Safe neighborhood. Staff was very friendly and serviceable. We arrive early and they helped us to keep luggage: same after checkout. You feel in a friend´s house, and very welcomed.

Great place to stay in Oxford, 15 minutes to downtown by bus.

Couldn’t fault the staff they were amazing. And prompt, even letting us check in a little early. The guest house is right next to a bus stop making it easy to get into Oxford itself. Along with having off road packing for guests cars. It was clean tidy presentable. And even had little quirks of Alice in wonderland going up the stairs which added a little character

Excellent position for John Radcliffe hospital. Pami is a super host ,so welcoming. Nothing seemed to much trouble .. Plentiful parking (off street) Just perfect.

Always pleasant staying at the Red Mullions. It’s very convenient and accessible to bus stops, shops around Headington and access to local pubs. It’s only a 10 min walk to Brookes University which makes it very convenient!

They were very accommodating. They let us check in and park in the lot early. It was an easy walk to Oxford Brookes University. There is a bus stop right out front making it easy to travel around Oxford.

When we arrived we had a lovely warm welcome by Pam. Pam showed us our room we were staying in which was on the ground floor as I have difficulty with walking. The room was lovely and clean and comfortable. It is close to great restaurants and pubs and shopping. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast and great service. I would like to say to Pam and Julie thank you for a lovely stay. And if I ever come to Oxford again, I will definitely come to visit again and stay with them. Thank you so much.

The guest house, which is set back from the road with dozen or so parking spaces, is on a main bus route into Oxford and close to bus stops in each direction. Heading to shops and a fuel station are a minute or so walk. The room was spacious and clean with a walk-in shower in the en suite. Their Continental breakfast set us up for the day. It includes warm bread, a platter of cheeses and separately cold meats as well as eggs, conserves, yogurts, toast and tea, coffee or hot chocolate. We enjoyed our stay at the Red Mullions guest house and next time we visit Oxford would be happy to stay there again.

Loved the location of this place, within walking distance to shops, cafes and pubs. Bus Stop close by and easy to catch the bus into the city. The bed was uncomfortable, was way too firm and I woke with a sore back each morning. Basic necessities supplied, but again no tissues, so bring your own. There is no toaster or microwave either so just the minimum coffee and tea making facilities. Continental breakfast is charged as an extra, but there are cafes down the road which are easy to get to - just get there early as they fill up quickly. The shower does not get overly hot and is so noisy. Overall, our stay was ok. Not sure how ratings are done in the UK but definitely not a 4 star more like a 3 to 3.5

Rented a family room for my daughter’s graduation. The room was comfortable, the beds and bedding were comfortable and clean, the bathroom was large and clean. Lots of light in the room. Disappointed that that they no longer offer cooked breakfast.

We arrived after 6 in a Saturday and didn’t book breakfast so had no interactions with staff. The Key box entry system was simple and communicated well by the hosts in advance. Our superior room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the fan was a real bonus. We worried that the room might be noisy as we were facing on to the main road, but the secondary glazing was very good and we heard nothing. Car parking was great. We will stay here again next time we visit our daughter who is a student nearby
