There was no hot water the evening I arrived and the phone in the room wouldn’t work when I attempted to contact the desk. The ice maker was also broken. The screen in the window was broken as well. The room was clean. Staff was nice. There was hot water in the morning. Breakfast was laid out nicely, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, yogurt etc.

There was no elevator but 3 floors. The first room we were given had dirty sheets with hair and skin flakes present. After complaining we were given a room with 2 beds instead of one and the bedding was rumpled as if sat on. There were no washcloths. The tv remote lacked a back plate to cover the battery. The phone did not work so we had to go up and down the stair with our luggage to change rooms each time. The second room lacked charging outlets. For the price we expected at least a clean functional room with washcloths. We did not even try one of the 3 available bagels at breakfast given the room experience.

They are trying to remodel so I’ll give them that. Beds and pillows are older and hard. In room coffee pot was dirty. Parking lot was big since we had a trailer so that worked out well. Air conditioner worked well! Keep working at updates etc.

Reservations were made and requested first floor for medical and pet needs. I arrived and checked in and was told I was in the third floor (no elevator). When asked why my request was not honored I was told it was first come first serve. When stated that it was requested for medical reasons I was basically told “oh well, take it or leave it”. So don’t expect an actual reservation.

The rooms were either upstairs or downstairs nothing on a ground level. We asked for a first floor since we have mobility issues and we still had to go downstairs with suitcases etc. The dog area was unkempt and people didn’t pick up after their dogs. Other guests didn’t not leash their dogs and didn’t have control of their dogs as their ran towards our dog. It should be a hotel policy to pick up after your pets AND leash them! The only redeeming quality was the front staff was friendly and helpful.

The Super 8 was exactly what we were looking for. A nice comfortable place to spend the night. While the stairwell had a funny smell, the rooms were clean and pleasant. It is next to the freeway, so nothing special about the area... however, we spent the morning in Abilene and its a great small town

The room had dead bugs in the corner of furniture, the bathtub was very dirty, pillow case was soiled, the sheets frayed and blankets had burn holes. We wiped the furniture in corners with a wipe to get up the dust. The staff was extremely nice so I feel badly about such a poor review.

The hotel smelled like someone was frying sauerkrout in their room. The room was musty smelling, like the air conditioner was full of mold. 95%sure the bathroom was not cleaned from previous tennants, as there was urine on the toilet, hair in the sink, and a towel still hanging on the back of the bathroom door.

The blankets were all stained and had cigarette burn holes in the comforter. The only protein they had for breakfast was peanut butter, and the juice machine was not working, and there was no coffee at 8 o’clock in the morning. The whole hotel smelled like Indian food.

This hotel is dated and really needs refreshing. Hallways smelled of cigarettes and even though room was nonsmoking it still had an odor. We asked for first floor due to physical limitations and there are still 4 stairs you have to deal with. The room appeared clean but my top sheet was worn with even a tear in it. They need to spend a little money and make the whole hotel nicer especially since there are very little hotel options to choose from in Abeline. I definitely would select a different hotel if I stay in Abeline again.

Just right for a single overnight stay. Large room and decent enough WiFi to stream some movies. Breakfast was underwhelming, but fine. The only other thing to mention is that highway noise is a bit louder than we were expecting and the 4am Greyhound Bus arrival made for some light noise a bit early in the morning.

Check in guy was ride and put us on 3rd floor with no elevator because he was in a mood. We are two older ladies and it took us forever to get to our room. Our room was dirty. I asked for an ice bucket and he told me there was no ice machine on the property. Thank God it was only for one night. We will never use this place again.

My car broke down just outside Abilene and I had to stay for three days while it was being repaired. I can't say enough good things about the people that work at this Super 8 and how nice and helpful they were during this time. The hotel was very clean, and I have absolutely no complaints about my stay, but I want to emphasize how much the people that were working there while I stayed made an impact. If you're traveling through and need a clean place to stay, with amazing people working there, this is the place.

I was unable to check in. No one was at the lobby. I called several times and yelled to the back office and no one came out. After 20 minutes I finally left and I haven’t been able to get a refund yet.. don’t stay at this dump if you don’t want to get ripped off.

They didn't have the type of room we booked. The first room we were given was occupied and the second room was not cleaned. The room we ended up in was marginally clean but still not great. Their electronic system was down, which caused problems for the front desk. We were double charged, as well.

The staff was extremely rude at check in. The bathroom floor had two empty soap wrappers on it. The floor also had grass and mud on it. The shower had three hairs and the corners of the tub had dirt in them. Needless to say I cleaned the toilet and the sick myself and we didn't bother to shower. The room itself was covered in dust, spots on the carpet were wet, no idea what that was. The beds were absolutely horrible, probably would have been softer to sleep on the asphalt in the parking lot. There was a substance running down the cabinet by the trash can. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND! Sleep in a tent somewhere, it will be cleaner and more comfortable.

The Super 8 was exactly what we were looking for. A nice comfortable place to spend the night. While the stairwell had a funny smell, the rooms were clean and pleasant. It is next to the freeway, so nothing special about the area... however, we spent the morning in Abilene and its a great small town

It was good clean hotel. It was just at the Abilene Exit. Breakfast was a good continental style, and how much you want. Help yourself coffee, tea, milk, orange and apple juice, Cereal, Toast, fruits and doughnuts. Easy check-in and check-out no problem.

staff awesome very polite and kind...the bed was amazing slept like a baby..no issues with the room or the hotel..breakfast was yummy!! Very easy to get to right off I-70 and walking distance to many fast food resturants.

Just right for a single overnight stay. Large room and decent enough WiFi to stream some movies. Breakfast was underwhelming, but fine. The only other thing to mention is that highway noise is a bit louder than we were expecting and the 4am Greyhound Bus arrival made for some light noise a bit early in the morning.

the clerk worked with us to get us keys to our rooms earlier than check in time. Room did have USB ports avaiable. Older motel, not updated. Breakfast was very limited-only had breads,yogurt, cereal. No hot foods. Coffee Machine was broke.

Breakfast consisted of waffles or toast. Nothing else. The king bed room was very small for the price. People kept trying to open our door and the top lock was broken.Management couldn't do anything and there were no other rooms that didn't require the use of stairs. If it wasn't so late and we weren't so tired from traveling, we would have left and went somewhere else.We finally moved a dresser in front of the door so we could feel a little more safe.

There was no hand soap in the bathroom and when I went to the counter, I was told that their shipment doesn’t come in. Very small amount of toilet paper and an extra roll was not available. The shower faucet needed repair. There was a place on the wall for a blow dryer but there wasn’t one there. There was slim pickings for breakfast. The orange juice was watered down. No spoons to eat the yogurt with. Bed was comfortable. Our room was clean.

It was clos to restaurants, gas & the highway. Only disappointing thing was no towels and toilet paper in the room so we went back down to the desk and had to ask for them. Not a pleasant breakfast choice

The blankets were all stained and had cigarette burn holes in the comforter. The only protein they had for breakfast was peanut butter, and the juice machine was not working, and there was no coffee at 8 o’clock in the morning. The whole hotel smelled like Indian food.

Room was really big which was nice having 5 people. We got there really late and he was there and checked us right in. Slept through breakfast so not sure how that was. No problems. Hotel is old and carpet reflected that. Right price, served its purpose of a good night’s sleep.

Breakfast: juice machine didn’t work, so no juice, no apologies.Hotel was dirty and run down Everywhere. Super 8 has done it’s time. You can stay there, but cannot give one reason why you would.

The pictures on the website are not accurate. There isn’t an elevator and it’s 3 stories. Very run down. Plenty of parking but the entrance to get in is horrible!!! The chair in the king room was gross and stained. The wall under the a/c unit was deteriorating and had tape over it which wasn’t helping. It was raining hard and it was coming in through the a/c unit and the carpet was getting wet!! Bed was ok. Breakfast area was way too small. We will definitely not go back there. Travel the little distance and get a better experience .
