Riverside Lodge Hotel

Reception, lu”lounge and bar area give an impression of a quality hotel. Unfortunately the bedrooms and food do not match up. Some serious money needs spending on the rooms and the catering for functions needs a good look at too. We left very disappointed

Staff were excellent, helpful and polite. Room was clean although soap, was open on sink. In morning turned shower on, drain was blocked, as tray was low rim, water overflowed quickly on bathroom floor, dried with towels into toilet. Went to reception, staff came along quickly and sorted out vacant room to have shower. Breakfast good selection, bacon not very well cooked, otherwise ok.

Massive party next door nothing was done loud music fighting arguing rang reception. A few times they went to room but it carried on reception this morning weren’t that bothered never stay my there again her attitude was they did leave after 1 am joke of an answer to give a paying customer who needs sleep as working away
