Extended Stay America Philadelphia Exton

The place was rather rundown. The hair dryer in my room started smoking as soon as I turned it on. No one at front desk so I had to fly out with wet hair.

The room smelled like fried grease and there was a lack of front desk presence. I could t get out of the hotel in the morning to walk my dog because the front door was locked

Hotel location is conveniently just off the highway. Outside was clean and well kept. Lobby and front desk was clean. It is a pet friendly hotel, so if you have pet allergies they will be triggered. I love dogs, but the smell is overwhelming, especially in the elevator. Front desk manager was very pleasant. But you need to have photo of for ALL adults who stay in your room(s). No exceptions. Our room was clean, but had roaches...made the stay uncomfortable. Hotel is in need of updating furniture, appliances, repainting, etc...

It is a wonderful property, spacious, well organized, enough space for parking cars at any time, well connected to main roads, and convenient for someone prefering to stay and meet people in and around Exton, Malvern, Chester Springs etc. MEGAN is a nice individual, a great staff, very helpful and jovial

The elevator was not working. It had snowed earlier in the week and the parking lot and entrances were not properly cleared. It snowed again while we were there and it was still not cleared properly. We had our dog so we had to go in and out frequently so this was an issue.

$25 pet charge

They do not bring things to room. They do have full kitchen

Had a very pleasant stay up until Thursday evening when an Elderly, Wrinkling Caucasian woman, came to me while I was in my vehicle minding my own business. She claims shes the Head Manager at this facility and that starting Thursday, I would be required to have a vehicle tag displayed in order to enter the parking lot. She then proceeds to inform me that shes asked the manager on duty to be present during this conversation, but that I should have "nothing to worry about" so I go in, speak to a *different* manager cuz apparently these two were leaving for the day(The 'Head Manager' also lied about going around and letting everyone know, she got back in her car and left the facility) when I informed the manager present about what happened, he informed me that there is NO SUCH THING as a parking pass for this location, and there never has been. At this point I felt completely unwelcomed and honestly felt like I was being kicked out of someone's home, only the person didn't own the house. So I ended my stay early and requested a full refund for the garish display of racism I had witnessed. These people are now refusing this and claiming its because I did in fact, complete my stay, which is entirely untrue. DO NOT BOOK WITH EXTENDED STAY UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND CASUAL RACISM.

Clean comfortable beds, Bathrooms clean. Quiet. Kitchenette has 2 burner stovetop,microwave, sink and full size refrigerator with freezer. Also has laundry room in the facility. Guest services and housekeeping were friendly and attentive to my needs.

Property was OK. Had a nice grassy area to walk the dog. Building was a little run down but clean. I was led to believe they had a hot breakfast but it was nothing more than some hot water and packages of oatmeal and some wrapped cupcakes. But that's OK, the room was inexpensive and there's a Wawa across the highway where you can get a cheap real breakfast.

Our room had a large amount of ants behind the headboard of one of the beds that we did not discover until the morning after our first night. This issue was brought to the front desk, the woman was very apologetic and moved us to a new room and told us she issued a refund for the inconvenience. The refund was for $6.93. Thanks, extended stay....

Very dirty warped furniture refrigerator dirty

The entire hotel smelled. When we arrived in the evening, the hallways smelled like a mix of smoke and mildew. The next next morning they were better, it kind of smelled like they sprayed air freshener. Our room had a musty smoke smell. Everything in the room was very very old and basic. The worst part was the floor from the air conditioner to the bed was soaking wet it extended from the air conditioner out about 3 feet in all directions. I forgot to say something in the morning we left because I couldn't wait to get out of there the front desk Employees were very nice though.

Check-in was after 3 pm, but room wasn't ready at 3:30 pm because it still needed to be "cleaned." When finally entered room, there were poop stains in the toilet, clumps of hair in tub and on bathroom door. Layer of dust on all flat surfaces in room. Bottoms of white sox were black within minutes of walking on the floor. Some sort of alarm or machinery let out a very loud tweet in the stairwell across the hall every minute for the entire time there. Breakfast was only muffins and granola bars.

We walked into the room to find bugs on the floor, walls, bathroom, and not just normal wear and tear - but generally filthy room

Yes room was spotless

The light fixture in the kitchen was uncovered, and did not work properly, the heating unit blew out an awful smell for 45 minutes, the bathroom vent was caked in dust.

Hallway smelled of drug smoke.

It's quiet and very clean. I also love having my own refrigerator and stove!

Breakfast was included, but by the time I got to it, there was nothing left. Coffee was good. The room was excellent - clean, comfortable, and spacious.

The front desk wasn’t clear on policies with security deposit when checking in. They actually took the money not place it on hold like everywhere else. I was given wrong information when I called the property previously so all staff needs to be on same accord. The bed wasn’t sturdy. When I sat on edge it lifted. Front desk while checking out very rude. May stay at extended day again just not this location

The first thing we noticed when walking in was the lobby smelled like an ashtray, which was ironic since they made me sign a waiver saying i wouldn't smoke in the room. Fortunately the room did not reek. But the furniture looked like 70s thrift shop, the TV was miniscule. The room at least appeared clean. The free breakfast was a bunch of nutragrain bars and some packaged muffins, both of which were almost gone when we left the room at 9am. Disappointed for $200 a night.

This hotel is worn out and dirty. Beds were uncomfortable. Furniture is definitely not hotel worthy. Do not stay here.

Furniture was well worn and the floor didn’t look very clean. There were stains on the counters in the kitchen area. The bathroom was outdated but functional. The beds were very springy and not comfortable.

I would only recommend this place if there’s no other decent options. The “breakfast” wasn’t much, the room didn’t include any stuff for the kitchen, the layout of the room is awkward but the place was clean

When I checked in no one was at the desk for over 10 minutes. They gave me a room that already had someone in it when I entered (horrible experience). The room I got smelled terrible and was not clean. I will never stay here again no will I recommend family visiting the area stay here.

The front desk staff were excellent. Always helpful and very good service.

I secured one room with 2 queen beds online, was told only a king was available at check-in, and then mid way through the process was told only a queen was available. Customer service was poor. Not friendly, no dialogue. Asked for a blanket and pillow and was given only 2 fitted sheets. Smh. I will not be coming back.

Translation results I do not recommend it, upon my arrival at 11 pm there was no one at the front desk of the hotel I waited for more than 30 minutes and no one showed up, I was able to enter the reception area a guest I opened the door as I was on the street in the cold waiting. At the same time I have not been refunded the reservation fee. Very bad attention.

i booked through Travelocity and was not made aware that an additional 100 dollar deposit was required upon check in and only refunded after "inspection if the room." also the "breakfast" was a container of granola bars and 6 muffins.

The room had a smell of pets thanks for the can of Lysol I had in my packed bag it didn't help I booked her cuz breakfast was included nothing in the sort at check in nothing was said just a terrible stay
