Very basic hotel, very basic hotel room. Pros: spotlessly clean; excellent recliner and desk with properly placed reading lamps (!!!); good breakfast but very little protein; pleasant staff. Cons: not very sound proof doors and walls - I could hear the neighbors TV; little children playing (loudly) in the halls at 10pm and 7am.; be careful in the bathtub, it's really slippery. For the price this is a great place to stay.

The rooms are small, it's an older hotel but has been given a nice face lift. The breakfast consisted of cereals and waffles. We would have considered staying again. But, throughout our stay we could smell cigarette smoke and marijuana. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I even considered at one point that they offered smoking rooms and that it was coming through the vents. I checked outside our windows because I thought it could be coming in through the a/c unit. I just couldn't figure it out! It was not a subtle odor, it was strong. So I asked the front desk staff if they had smoking rooms? She said "no" but the guests in room 118 and 119, right next to your room, are smokers. So when they go outside, right out the door to smoke, it comes inside and down the hallway. She apologized that it happens, but no remedy was offered(example: changing rooms). If this is something that may bother you, I don't recommend staying here.
