Was safe area. Only thing was pool needs updated and think it needed cleaned bottom of it had black areas on it. Staff was very nice

Staff were always alert and attentive. The 24 hour coffee bar is always a huge plus. Breakfast room stayed clean and updated.

There are a few reasons for this bad review. 1st is that my father in law who is a cancer survivor was yelled at from across the pool room that he couldn't have a (plastic) bottle of water in the room with the pool. Then we noticed the pool was in rough shape. One of the edges were cracked and very sharp. In our room we noticed what looked like chocolate behind the chair. Looks like they sweep just the main area and don't detail the rooms very well. The last thing that bothered me was the fact that there was no Bible in night stand. Im not very religious but it has always been comforting knowing there was a Bible next to us when sleeping out of town. All these experiences combined will be the reason I will NOT return to this hotel. May avoid baymont hotels all together

This is an older hotel with few amenities. Finding the driveway was a challenge because their sign wasn't lit and it was dark out. That being said. Our Room and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly.

It was clean and semi comfortable beds. Need new mattresses. Downside was that the pool was nasty build up scum and it was super cold in the pool area. Also when we asked where we can sit to eat. Mind you it is cold and rainy. We rented multiple rooms and there was not enough seating in dinning area for us to sit let alone other guest. We asked to sit at large table in entry way but was told to instead please eat on patio. Which again had 1 table with 4 benches so 8 of our 12 guest for each meal. Sucky

I like how this place had a laundry room if you really needed to do so.

It is an older hotel and you can tell. The bathrooms could use updating but the rooms were clean and the beds were really comfortable. The pool needs refurbishment, like really needs it. What made our stay was the staff, the front desk guy was excellent! Gave us really good recommendations for dinner and told us how we could view fireworks, incase we were interested. They were quick to get towels for the pool area when I stopped to let them they were almost out, on our way out. Couple other times I had a question or we needed something, he was more helpful than your typical front desk person. I feel bad I didn’t get his name, but he was beyond helpful! The location is super convient, never had to go on the main road to shop, eat or see a movie. Signage for the drive is small, we missed it the first time. Lastly the coffee was surprisingly good at the 24 hour coffee area outside the lobby. All and all its older but not a bad place to stay a night.

No elevator is very hard for elderly people with disabilities.

Very clean, and beautiful hotel. The only issue I had was that the room wasn't cleaned thoroughly prior to us checking in. The housekeeper left a dirty bath towel hanging on the back of our bathroom door. I thought my boyfriend hung my towel there so I used it, but my towel ended up being where I originally put it, so this was NOT of our towels. Which means I dried myself off with someone else's DIRTY towel.

Went into our room and there was some type of feces in the room. We left immediately and will not be back.

We rented two rooms for our family, we walked into the bathroom and there was urine all over the toilet seat and in the toilet. We then proceeded to see bugs on the ground and crawling up the bed. Not only that there was moldy food in the fridge. The rooms were obviously never cleaned from the people before us. The rooms were tiny with huge beds so you could barely move in the rooms. Also, DO NOT fall for these fake photos, the photos make the room and hotel look very nice but in reality they were disgusting. The rooms should most definitely not cost 150 dollars. HUGE waste of money. The customer service was pretty good other than the employees lying to us about giving us one free room because of the inconvenience. Btw they only gave us 30 bucks off of a 300 dollar purchase. Absolutely ridiculous, thought it was a joke when they sent us the voicemail about the 30 dollars off. Save your money and do not stay here.

Very clean, the place sparkles. The front desk staff were wonderful. The breakfast area was constantly cleaned up as people came and went. A most relaxing visit.

The room we stayed in was not clean. My two year old kept finding things in the “hard to reach” spaces. The bathroom was not only tiny but kind of grimy. The breakfast was NOT good. Nothing had flavor at all and they don’t even offer salt or pepper to try to add any flavor. The pool was very nice though! I will give them that!

Currently staying here for a business trip. First day: cockroach on bed (only one so far) moldy/mildew smell permeates the room, no room to set anything down except the floor (particularly the bathroom, it is set up like a rest stop bathroom with a sloped sink and a tiny metal tray on the wall. Second day: the faucet in the bathroom is broken and sprays water everywhere if you turn it on more than a trickle, 2 AM the fire alarm begins beeping, (I try to call the front desk but the phone in the room isn't working. (the night manager comes in, pulls one alarm off the ceiling and leaves, nope it is the other ceiling mounted alarm, get him to come back and he pulls that on off and leaves.) Third day (today): I go to the front desk to ask about it and get, "yup, that happened." No apologies or acknowledgement that I had my night disrupted. I won't complain about the "breakfast" because it is a hotel. I have 3 more nights of this and am not expecting it to get better. Edit: The smoke alarms and faucet were fixed when I got back to the room. They did contact me that night to offer a room with a larger bed and then a $25 Applebee's giftcard BUT ONLY AFTER I had posted this review. I turned down the room change because I just was too tired to pack everything up. I did take the giftcard. Day 4: they made a point at check-in of mentioning that they only come in every 3 days to change the towels and sheets so when I saw that there were towels folded on the rails I assumed that meant the

Overall, it was fine.. until the morning. In the ceiling, when someone would walk, it sounded like metal creaking. I do not mean just the floorboard, but metal creaking. It woke us up at 630 am and lasted for probably a couple of hours. I told the front desk that it was really bad and not just floor boards, but it did not seem to phase them. Overall, it was an ok stay until the morning.

The room was clean but there was a lot of humidity in the room. The ac was on and working but maybe needs some attention.

Our bed was a little hard, but otherwise the stay was great!

Our room was clean. The help was friendly and helpful. The room was small with a double which is not comfortable for two people. I requested a handicap room because I need a shower rather than tub/shower. The bathroom had no counter to set anything. Room for a wheelchair which I do not use so not user friendly for me. The facility needs a redo. Breakfast had no gluten free bread which I need because of celiac disease.

The room was comfortable and clean. The floor under the carpet felt uneven. The building crew may want to investigate.

Great hotel at a reasonable rate! Room was clean and bed comfortable! Second time I’ve been to this hotel and clean, comfy and pleasant staff both stays!

We heard a lot of noise from the room above ours, particularly people walking around. Since the hotel was not very busy, it would've been nice to not have anyone above us, and a reminder to guests that there are other people staying around them might be appropriate.

Older hotel but everything in working order. The room could have used better lighting, even with every lamp on it was still pretty dim. Nice indoor pool. Continental breakfast was so so. Coffee was good. Front desk and housekeeping staff very friendly. Very close to restaurants and shopping. (Unrelated to the hotel, but I highly recommend the Cherry Street Pub. About a 5 minute drive).

My stay started with waiting 5-7 minutes while desk clerk finished a personal telephone call. Got up to my room to find that the safe was already locked. On my way out a short while later, I stopped by the front desk and advised the lady who had been on the phone when I arrived, that I wanted the safe unlocked. She took out a small envelope, dumped the contents on the desk and asked “Which key looks like it would fit?” How I would know that, I have no idea?? When I said that I didn’t know, she told me that one of her co-workers and her would go up to my room while I was out to dinner and unlock it. When I returned a couple of hours later, it was not unlocked. It never got unlocked for the rest of my stay. Also: • there was no shower gel OR bar soap in the shower/bathroom • my room was not visited by a maid or bed made, used towels replaced, waste baskets emptied, etc. on Tuesday. All in all, a really lackluster experience. Likely wouldn’t stay here again.

Decent rooms and friendly staff.

We get there and they said we checked in early..no we didn't. Thank GOD I had the confirmation. They checked someone into our prepaid room. Clearly they copy your ID and it didn't match??? They assured us that our information is safe and the other person won't have access. They better hope not.

I always stay at the Baymont when I’m in town. The Baymont Inn is clean, quiet and usually inexpensive. Seth is always friendly and helpful. My room is comfy and nice. MBailey

We've stayed at this Baymont many times over the last 10 years, for a week at a time. The rooms are clean and we like the extras such as KCup machine, beverage selections, shower soap dispensers. We don't normally eat breakfast but decided to one morning. It was 8:40 and the hot food was all gone. Went to the front desk, no one there. Came back 5 minutes later, still no food. We rang the front desk, a female came out. Was very rude to us. Said we were lying about being there earlier. We reminded her breakfast was until 9 and it was 8:43. She huffed into the storage room and microwaved us some eggs, while talking to some guy, we assumed her boyfriend. Her attitude made us really uncomfortable and we think next year we'll stay at the hotel next door.

Check in was quick and easy. The front desk clerk was very helpful and welcoming. The housekeeping staff were nice and respectful. My room was amazing, one of the best hotel rooms that I’ve had in a long time. Plus the hotel was peaceful for a perfect personal getaway. I look forward to my return back.

From what we could find, there are no elevators which made hauling luggage for our while family up the stairs inconvenient. Right of the bat you could smell the cigarette smoke in the hallways, despite their no smoking policy. The smell crept into our room and to make it worse the room smelled like raw sewage. I made a trip to the store to get air freshener just so my family could tolerate the stench. The areas outside around the hotel area very poorly lit and I was not sure how safe it was. The beds themselves were fine, but we didn't stick around for breakfast.

The property is quite dated and in need of maintenance. It's situated next to a closed restaurant, which contributes to a desolate, abandoned atmosphere. While you get what you pay for with this budget hotel, the damp and musty smell in the room made it uncomfortable and difficult to stay. Had I booked directly through the property, I would have likely requested a refund and opted for the nearby Holiday Inn Express, which was just a short walk away and only $25 more. Unfortunately, I won't be staying here again, and I’ll be reconsidering Wyndham properties in the future.

Although this Baymont is challenging to find (it’s down behind a restaurant), it was very clean and has wonderful staff.

The immediate area around the hotel is in transition.

The property was dated and beds were too firm for my liking, but it was in a convenient location. I felt safe. Served its purpose well enough.

Area is obviously next to a mall that is "dying" and the parking lot is a lot to be desired. Once you get off the main road there are a ton of potholes.

Great location, quiet setting, within walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

For an older complex it was a fine two nights stay. Only downside was the breakfast trays were pretty much empty by 8:30 & service was to be by 9 am

This facility was a comfortable stay for me and reasonably priced. ,The staff was friendly and accommodating. I will say that the hotel could use a bit of an upgrade as some appliances and furnishings look worn. Breakfast offerings were mediocre and the space was rather small. Overall, nothing would keep me from staying there again except if they raise the prices.

Reasonably priced, especially for the quality you get here. I've stayed here multiple times and it has never disappointed. The bed is comfortable, the room is clean, the parking is plentiful, the staff is friendly, I don't use the pool but it always seems clean and well used by others. The breakfast and coffee is nice as well. If there is one thing I could change, it would be to add a bathroom fan. Other than that, it's perfect.

We arrived late to the hotel, we were checked in quickly but without much conversation. The pool was open but expected a hot tub. The pool did need to be painted or cleaned on the bottom. The room was clean-a light bulb was out but it was perfect for the quick night stay. Breakfast ended pretty early to us but was a full hot breakfast- nice. The tv was on a rude adult cartoon though and not suitable for children.

The continental breakfast was absolutely terrible. I would not stay at this hotel again if the cereal choices are Raisin Bran and Fruit loops every day and cherry yogurt every day.

Centrally located to everything. Staff was attentive except for Monday morning when trying to check out. No one at reception desk for at least 10 minutes. Also no one restocking breakfast Monday despite over an hour left for it to be open. No biscuits or gravy, only a couple of egg and sausage patties left. Was a great disappointment after the good weekend service.

Clean and comfortable. We used the pool both days. Excellent breakfast included, which helped before our days of hiking since we didn’t have to go out and find breakfast. Polite staff.

We were in town for the fair. Your property was close and had the best price. Our stay was good. Breakfast was better than most. Coffee was best I’ve seen at a hotel breakfast. I liked the addition of a waffle machine (carbon’s is a great product).
