Knights Inn Franklin, PA

I apparently did NOT read the reviews for this hotel before booking. I saw the price, the name, and location and booked it. Bad move on my part. I am very happy my friend couldn't make it, because I would have been horribly embarrassed! Confirmed from other reviews: * The guy at the front office was not nice, wasn't nice to my husband and actually hung up on him after telling him not to call about my room. * The phone calls the front desk guy and I got a key. * Overall dingy with very little light in the room. * The sliding glass door had a peg to keep it closed, was really hard to operate, and I had a hard time getting things in, because the bed is right there. * It smells like wet moldy dog. * I didn't identify the dead bug looking thing in the sheets. * The bathroom looked moldy. * The breakfast was the worst of my entire trip. (Yeah, someone else got Raisin Bran ... there wasn't enough to dispense, but there was hardly any milk anyway. There were 2 slices of bread and a squeeze bottle of grape jelly.) These comments seem pretty consistent for 2+ years. If I could have canceled, I 100% would have done so. Double Plus Ungood. I will never stay at a Knights Inn again.

Toilet leaked all over the place.

Ice machine didn't work. Breakfast was very skimpy.

Exercise room closed. Bathtub faucet leaked more than a drip, bathroom fan didn't work, peeling paint on bathroom ceiling.

Arrived to unattended front desk where there was a phone to dial 0 for help. Waited 10 minutes for last to arrive to check us in. Check in was an additional 15 minutes. The sliding door in our room, opened from the outside and does not lock. Breakfast offering was 2 varieties of cereal and a half gallon of 3 day expired milk in the refrigerator. The ice machine gave 1 cube of ice but failed to dispense any more. One of the worst hotel experiences I've had.
