Second time being here and it didnt disappoint. Lovely room. Friendly staff and tasty food. I love the bar and the choice of malts is excellent. Dog friendly, he got a sausage for his breakfast, and lots of space for dogs to run. One of my favourite retreats. I will be back again

Beautiful property but it took an hour to get breakfast from a harried and not so pleasant waitress. Food was good but expensive and portions small. Lunch in the bar was much better and more value for money. The rest of the staff was lovely and very attentive. The room had a beautiful view and was spacious and quite lovely in an old fashioned way but not much to see on the grounds ther than the water… ugly campground up the path next door

Pretty lovely room and facilities with a great view. The hotels setting was perfect and staff couldn’t be better. It was our third time staying there and we highly recommend it to anybody.

Beautiful place to stay right on the bay. The grounds were beautiful and the house was very cozy and elegant. The food in the restaurant was amazing, both dinner and breakfast.

The age, history and location of the property were unique. I liked that breakfast was included. Didn't like there was no WiFi in my room; or the number of steps....but recognize it is an old, old house.

We had a lovely stay at Bunchrew House Hotel with friends. The hotel staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the bar both nights, the food was delicious, the only downside was there were no proper tables to sit at, it was low coffee tables. Would definitely stay again.

This property is fantastic as well as the staff! Very friendly and knowable. Our room was very clean, a bit on the small side but it made for it with the atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and very hospitable. If we were to return to Scotland I would definitely stay here as often as we could.

For the price, you are paying for the amazing loch views, and quiet serenity. Staff was very nice and helpful, food was great. However the owners need to update the rooms at this price point. I don’t mind experiencing the old charm of Scotland but not if it’s 1985 charm. Bathroom needs updating, even a curved shower curtain would go a long way. Wooden Floors are extremely creaky. Very hard to be quiet. Especially if you come in past midnight when all the doors are locked shut. Overall a great experience but didn’t compare to the updated hotels we stayed on this 12 day journey.

Although the outside of the property was very picturesque, the interior was very tired and in need of updating. I didn’t feel the price reflected the quality of the rooms. The room advertised, was completely different to what we got.

The setting couldn’t be more beautiful and we have NEVER had better meals than the lovely dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Their chef is top-notch. The rooms are in serious need of a refresh, but they were clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

What a charming and cozy bed and breakfast! The area is gorgeous and the staff friendly. It is a bit out of town so a car is needed. The only complaint is that the maintenance in the hotel has not been kept up. The windows are hard to open and got stuck. The bathroom floor of Beauly room feels like it will cave at any minute. But the worst thing was the bathroom door which was an intrusion to everything in such a tiny room. The hardware on the door is very sharp so be careful lest you cut yourself !!

This stay was not planned, our ferry to Orkney was canceled. We decided to stay in Inverness for a few days… and it was absolutely wonderful. The rich history of Bunchrew House alone is worth the stay. The rooms were clean, not too small, are very cozy. Our welcome was great. Staff is friendly, the view from the back of the hotel is picturesque. Highly recommend.

We got the best food we had while staying here. Dinner is totally worth it. The service is over the top exceptional. Very thoughtful in all they do. My only complaint is there’s no temperature control in the rooms.

This is a fantastic and memorable property we stayed at during it 8 day journey. The room was wonderful, spacious and like home. The staff were so kind and accommodating for us. I had some dietary restrictions and the chef did everything to accommodate me and all were absolutely gourmet. I appreciated their kindness and flexibility. Gorgeous grounds. Enjoyed sitting outside y the water. I wished we could have stayed longer. It was so enjoyable and memorable.

Difficult to get to town from this hotel. The staff were lovely. Very loud banging and noise from toilet and people taking showers, thin walls. No food options except for very expensive food that was not very filling. More than 100£ to eat for 2 people,.

The room was quite small and we had to sleep the whole night with open windows as the room was boiling hot and the was no chance to turn off the radiator the restaurant was goo bu not worth £300 in 4 pax it was a real pity as the location is really nice

We spent 2 nights at Bunchrew house. It cannot be beat for convenience to Inverness, while also providing tranquility on the water. We had 3 rooms, mine was the smallest at the front of the house. I should have mentioned to staff, but my bed was not very comfortable… 2 twins put together without a topper. Staff was helpful and friendly. I would recommend this establishment to friends as a lovely house in a great location.

What a wonderful hotel and staff. Beautiful location, spacious (and historical) rooms and floor heated bathrooms. I am vegetarian and this was the best vegetarian haggis and haggis I had in Scotland. Highly recommended.

Bunchrew House is just a few words was peaceful, magical, and quaint. We adored this place! The hostess was very helpful and thorough, the spot is unbeatable for those wishing for a leisurely stay in Inverness, and the history and charm are bar-none. We didn't dream the house would hold so many rooms or that the food/dining room view would put us in such awe. The "Scottish Grill" at breakfast was delicious, the wait staff so respectful, and the environment had me feeling that I was really taking my breakfast in a classy 1700s setting. Loved it, and have already recommended this place to family and friends!

All staff were very friendly and polite. The bedroom had lots of space, the bed was very confortable. 5 stars for all the meals, it was amazing. Benedict eggs were a paradise in taste. Well done to the chef and all team.

The staff is so accommodating. The first day we arrived the front desk arranged for a taxi for the next morning.We had an early morning excursion. Second they arranged for a continental breakfast for us before the restaurant was opened so we could have a bite to eat. Then we phoned them and said we would be late returning after a lite fair is served. And they had a little snack available. They are very friendly and answered any questions we had. The property is right on the loch and very Scottish. We loved the hotel and would return.

This property was the epitome of a Scotland vibe. It’s absolutely beautiful and quiet, and the staff was so friendly! The food in the hotel was delicious, I ordered the halibut. I’m so glad we booked a room here to have this experience! It’s a 15 min drive to see the adorable highland coos and Loch Ness. I would totally recommend and stay here again!

This guesthouse is nestled in the most beautiful setting. The property and rooms are well maintained, and the staff are super accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay at Bunchcrew! We will be back!

Difficult to get to town from this hotel. The staff were lovely. Very loud banging and noise from toilet and people taking showers, thin walls. No food options except for very expensive food that was not very filling. More than 100£ to eat for 2 people,.

For the price, you are paying for the amazing loch views, and quiet serenity. Staff was very nice and helpful, food was great. However the owners need to update the rooms at this price point. I don’t mind experiencing the old charm of Scotland but not if it’s 1985 charm. Bathroom needs updating, even a curved shower curtain would go a long way. Wooden Floors are extremely creaky. Very hard to be quiet. Especially if you come in past midnight when all the doors are locked shut. Overall a great experience but didn’t compare to the updated hotels we stayed on this 12 day journey.

We spent 2 nights at Bunchrew house. It cannot be beat for convenience to Inverness, while also providing tranquility on the water. We had 3 rooms, mine was the smallest at the front of the house. I should have mentioned to staff, but my bed was not very comfortable… 2 twins put together without a topper. Staff was helpful and friendly. I would recommend this establishment to friends as a lovely house in a great location.

What a charming and cozy bed and breakfast! The area is gorgeous and the staff friendly. It is a bit out of town so a car is needed. The only complaint is that the maintenance in the hotel has not been kept up. The windows are hard to open and got stuck. The bathroom floor of Beauly room feels like it will cave at any minute. But the worst thing was the bathroom door which was an intrusion to everything in such a tiny room. The hardware on the door is very sharp so be careful lest you cut yourself !!

Loved the one night we stayed here! The decor is fantastic and the service is amazing. The dining experience amazing , such delectable dishes to choose from. Honestly wish we could have stayed longer. Truly romantic.

Beautiful property but it took an hour to get breakfast from a harried and not so pleasant waitress. Food was good but expensive and portions small. Lunch in the bar was much better and more value for money. The rest of the staff was lovely and very attentive. The room had a beautiful view and was spacious and quite lovely in an old fashioned way but not much to see on the grounds ther than the water… ugly campground up the path next door

The hotel is lovely. The evening meal was just outstanding. The chef put on a special vegan selection for myself and my husband enjoyed every bite of his meal. Thank you for looking after us so well.

The setting couldn’t be more beautiful and we have NEVER had better meals than the lovely dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Their chef is top-notch. The rooms are in serious need of a refresh, but they were clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

A wonderful historic building in a quiet rural setting. Stunning views. Comfortable bed, Dinner was excellent and the full breakfast has to be the best I've ever had in any hotel. Staff were very professional and courteous. I highly recommend a stay there and would myself return. I was a solo traveller but I recommend this as a romantic getaway for any couple so inclined. I would recommend it for its more relaxed and sedate pace. If it's nightlife you're after then perhaps it's not for you and something more central would be more suitable. Otherwise, you should consider this establishment.

Beautiful mansion on the water. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. We didn't have dinner at the hotel. I gave 3 stars for amenities because they don't have a gym or pool or anything like that. There is a bar and a great room to relax and play games or cards in. It was pretty cold when we stayed here so we weren't outside wandering the property much, but we would have if it had been a little nicer out. We didn't have a car so we did have to use prebooked taxis to get to and from the city while we were there. I would recommend this hotel if you want a quiet peaceful place to stay.
