We have been staying at Cliffdweller over the past 10 years. I have to say I am a little disappointed in the direction it’s heading. It felt much more person with the care initially. But now it’s just like any other budget hotel. The view is great. But breakfast not until 8? Way too late. And not much to speak of. It’s lost its charm which is what made it special. For the price it should be better.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was convenient, right off the highway, but still felt quiet and peaceful. You can hear the waves of Lake Superior at night, which was actually pretty relaxing and made for a great way to fall asleep. The balconies were a nice touch, with outdoor furniture where you could sit and enjoy the sunrise over the lake. Overall, a comfortable, peaceful place to stay with a beautiful view and a convenient location.

Second time staying at The Cliff Dweller and had late after hours arrival. Room keys, receipt and information were waiting for us on "late arrivals board". Room was clean and everything great! Beautiful view. Thank you.
