The only thing negative I have to say about this place is there's no lighting in the parking lot there should be more other than that it's a great place to stay The pool is not heated 😂, but it was great to get in.

The TV was way too small and there were none of the networks available (only cable channels). The grounds are vast, and it's great that there is an Applebee's, Aldi, Walmart and a Dollar Tree in the shopping center next door. The bed was good enough, (feather pillows help) and as is often the case, there was no way to open a window. The pool was beautiful, and well maintained.

This was a hidden gem. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside. It was clean, updated and quiet. A lovely view out the window to green space. The pool was nice . Clean with good lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas. Would have loved an extra comfy chair in the room for chatting. Price was great. Parking was right at room.

Just disappointed. Pool was not open for use, ice machine was broken. Breakfast was super exciting but I'm glad they offered something.

Affordable, quiet and clean. Rooms are spacious but the beds are not that comfortable. Probably needs new mattresses soon but it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again for the price. Outdoor pool was clean and cooled us off after a long day in the heat. Good proximity to Watkins Glen and finger lakes region. The woman at the front desk was super nice and informative.

Its an old property could update the ice machines. Clerk at the desk offered Ice from back room. No Ice machines on site worked. Flooring in both rooms I have stayed in is worn and in need of replacing.

When I booked this hotel I was looking for the cheapest rate with the best recent reviews.and you couldn't find a better rate at the time I booked, by far. This hotel is just outside of Corning right where it intersects with Painted Post and Gangs Mills. I'm used to staying in hotels where everything is enclosed in one building. This is instead a more sprawling complex of outbuildings that ring around a central outdoor pool. It was too chilly to check out the pool by the time we checked in but the area looked well maintained (no food and beverages in the pool area). These are older buildings that look like they have had a recent update in some areas. The inside of the rooms have a nice, clean and spacious look that I saw on the pictures. Beds in our room were firm but relatively comfortable. A/C worked well and there was a dehumidifier in the room. Our room had a clean, good working order mini fridge, microwave and TV (channels were a bit weird like 32.2 but we figured it out). Bathrooms were older looking but clean and in working order. Coffee and a small coffee maker were in the room as well. Overall this was a great value and a good brief overnight experience.

The check in was quick & easy. Was able to park at the door to the room. The room was large & the beds were very comfortable & lots of cable channels on the TV. It’s good to have use of the microwave oven & bar fridge in the room. After driving for 6 hours, I was stiff. I went to the swimming pool & swam leisurely & my muscles loosened up.

It’s hard to find a hotel when you’re traveling with your dog. Their nightly rate is very reasonable, and they only charge $10 extra for your pet. The room was clean and comfortable, quiet, and I’d definitely stay there again

Room 27 smelled like mildew and was not updated like the photos presented on some of the Expedia photos. The carpet was old and worn and the cleanliness was questionable. The room felt damp, which gave the surfaces an overall tackiness to them. I wish I would have spent an extra $50 for a nicer hotel room.

The property is ok look a lil old but my room bathroom was nasty the toilet inside was dirty you can tell they don’t clean the inside of the toilet. The bathroom smell like pee we asked the maid to clean it and she did but it really didn’t help much. Seen a small hole in the wall near the door and was hoping no mice would come out. Beds hard I woke up with my back hurting. They need new curtains the only thing good was the floor in the room. I guess you get what you pay for.

We loved our stay here! The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast and the parking were very convenient. The staff was so lovely and helpful. We recommended it to more of my family and they ended up booking it and loving it as well. We will be back!

Upon arrival there was pubic hair on the toilet and in the shower, the arms to the office chair were very sticky, there was dirty socks under the bed from the last people that rented the room. The carpet was damp and sticky. I rented the room for 3 people in my reservations and got 2 towels not 3. There was a hand written (reused and colored on) envelope on the stand asking for a tip. I find this very inappropriate especially when the room wasn't clean.

This wa an ideal place for us on our road trip. Very spacious and clean with plenty of amenities in the room like a fridge and microwave. Close to a big Walmart and a couple of fast food places but only a short drive to nearby Corning where there's a lot of choice. I'd be happy to stay again. The lady on reception was lovely and welcoming. It was a nice touch that there was coffee available at reception all morning, not just at breakfast time. We appreciated that.

The pictures are not accurate of this hotel! The hotel is run down and old. It is almost scary. I had to laugh when I pulled it. It didn’t even look like the same place. When I got to my room, it had an awful chemical smell. I looked around and it appeared to be relatively clean, however, there were multiple cobwebs and spiders that needed to be killed. I brought my own blanket and pillow and slept on top of the bedding with my own items. Then next morning when I went into the bathroom, there was a dead cockroach on the floor. I about lost it! Luckily, it was dead, but that explained the chemical smell in the room when I entered! When I checked out I told the front desk about the cockroach and my disgust with the room. The front desk clerk took my number and said the manager would call, which never happened. I cannot say I’m surprised! Do NOT stay at this hotel! You’re better off sleeping in your vehicle!

This was a quick one night stay for our family. The staff was very efficient and helpful at checkin. The room looked clean and spacious. There were a few flying bugs, but it is that time of year. Everything seemed to work: TV, mini fridge, toilet, AC. 3 complaints were 1. The mattresses were old and not comfortable. 2. The people next to us were smoking something and the smell was coming under the adjoining room door. Yuck! 3. For being in the country, there seemed to be construction noises going on well past midnight. One other positive though, we like how convenient the location was to Walmart and some basic shopping.

The best way to describe everything is “dated”. Nothing fancy. Pretty much get what you pay for. Good for an overnight on a budget. Older woman at front desk was very pleasant to deal with.

Very happy for the price. Double Queen bed was a very large room with desk, armchair,fridge, microwave. Beds decent. Bathroom clean but needs a refresh.

Room was large, beds comfortable. The floor was always gritty but otherwise the room was clean. Upstairs tenants were awake early am both nights we were there and stomped rapidly back and forth in their room for at least an hour making sleep impossible. Call to night management did not stop it. This place is dated and needs to be updated but overall it was ok. Air conditioning never seemed to be able to keep room cool and kept shutting off no matter what temperature it was set at.

Huge room with 2 queens. Good mini-fridge with separate freezer door. Microwave. Comfortable room overall. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Would have preferred eating area for breakfast, but that wasn’t a big issue.

The property is definitely a bit dated, but what it lacks in modern amenities, it more than makes up for with outstanding customer service. Every staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Their hospitality truly stood out and made my stay enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again—great experience overall!

The front desk clerk who checked us in was so kind and helpful. (Not sure his name but it was around 6pm in the evening on Saturday) The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked WONDERFULLY! Parking was a breeze. We really appreciated the free bottled water in the lobby area. Great value for the price. Highly recommend sit-n-bull pub down the road for dinner as well.

Loved the staff, thank you John for bringing a bench for me sit on outside my room! This is a lovely older, but wonderfully kept motel, and I recommend 100 times over!! Will be back Loved my stay!

Room was a good size. Older but seemed clean. Cofffe pot was bad so maintence did respond quickly and replaced it. The desk lady had a real aditude and was very rude. Had an issue with pre paging the room. All she could do was blame expidea. When i asked her some.questions she said if you ask me again, you wont habe a room for tonight. Very rude...

This wa an ideal place for us on our road trip. Very spacious and clean with plenty of amenities in the room like a fridge and microwave. Close to a big Walmart and a couple of fast food places but only a short drive to nearby Corning where there's a lot of choice. I'd be happy to stay again. The lady on reception was lovely and welcoming. It was a nice touch that there was coffee available at reception all morning, not just at breakfast time. We appreciated that.

Large nice rooms for a reasonable price. Second time I've stayed here, plenty of space to park a trailer (reason I chose the place). Staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. One building on the property appears disused and run down, and it does look like some of the units are weekly rentals. Overall, I like the place and will stay again.

Very convenient for a quick stay. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 9 am (long before checkout time) and stayed outside chatting and smoking until we left. That was the only unpleasant part of our stay. Front desk staff were excellent.

Stayed 2 nights, mid Sept 2025. Super Convenient Location near interstate highway, Applebees, Aldis, Big Walmart and coffee shop all in walking distance. Larger room than most. better mini refrigerator than most. Both much cheaper and a LOT better than a previous motel I stayed in the area (that one was bad). Good choice to get around local or go to Watkins Glen/Ithaca. I'll be back!!! Negatives? - TV smallish but that's not important for me. They could use more outdoor lighting at some buildings but again, that's minor as I could park right up to room.

Property and Rooms look a bit aged, but it does the job, for value for money. On site parking. Very spacious room, Fast Internet, clean room and bathroom with enough amenities, Grab and Go breakfast, enough to fill yourself. Shops just nearby, Walmart, Home Depot, and others for good food shopping.

What a welcome surprise this spot was! My husband, myself and our puppy travel for our job so we stay in quite a few places. We expected this to be just like any lower priced hotel - a place to sleep and hopefully a decent shower. I was absolutely blown away. The front desk was so welcoming, gave us some great pizza recommendations and even welcomed our ornery pup with pets and treats! Every time we took her out she drug us to the office looking for more, lol! Our room was so clean, great attention to detail, Katie! The property is pretty neat with some really nice grassy areas, there’s a pool that will be great in season! I believe this hotel may have spoiled us because the next night our hotel was so disgusting we actually demanded a refund and slept in our truck. We never know where our travels will take us but we will definitely choose this location any opportunity we get. Thank you all for such a great experience. Don’t pass this place up, it’s definitely a hidden gem 🙂

Convenient location to Corning where we visited the Glass Museum & the Rockwell Museum. Close to the highway. We swam in the pool after returning from a hot day out. Friendly & helpful staff. Decent Continental breakfast with cereal, fruit, and yogurt. Plentiful coffee and bottled water. .

First the positives: The night clerk was pleasant and friendly, the interior clean. The negative: The parking lot is dark, the room entrances are dark as well and off putting, I would not recommend a person coming here alone. The room is clean, bare basics, perfect for a quick inexpensive overnight while traveling.

It was okay for the price. The bathroom smelled a bit off, probably due to being an older facility. Also, the breakfast could have been better... it was just cereal, oatmeal and fruit.

The rooms are much nicer than the outside of the hotel would have you think. Everything was great with the exception of the breakfast offered. It consisted of coffee, tea, juice, dry cereal, and bananas. Honestly, not worth advertising. All in all, I would recommend.

While older, this hotel has been well maintained. The staff was welcoming. Breakfast was promised and then I learned it was "Grab and Go"; however, they had a good variety like yogurt, fruit, granola, oatmeal, and good coffee. It was a good value and a comfortable stay.

A great stay had all the normal amenities and clean and tidy. Wished we could open a window but otherwise perfect size and great shower pressure. Breakfast included was kinda a joke. Probably better to hit up Bob Evans

Very disappointing. Room was not anything like online pictures. The first thing we noticed walking in the room was the smell. Very stale and certainly didn’t have that clean fresh smell that you’d expect from a hotel room. Quite outdated. Not at all welcoming. We actually checked out about 15 minutes after we checked in and went somewhere else. It’s doubtful I’ll be able to get a refund but it was worth losing it and having to pay more to go someplace nice. I just wish I had thought to take pictures.

However, most of the hotel needs lots of work. Pool is shut down and appears to have been for quite a while. Feral cats roaming the buildings. Back buildings/balconies are decaying, and there are numerous permanent tenants (that are not corporate or contract workers, they are obvious residents) that should not share buildings with overnight guests. They should dedicate separate buildings according to tenancy. Breakfast was basic but ok. Not sure I would stay again.
