The room was very clean. We were greeted with friendly staff, he was so helpful and even offered to suggest hiking trails! Parking was great car felt safe, area was quiet and peaceful, we would def stay here again and the price was right, overall win!

In having left inserts from a restaurant, food was put in refrigerator. Next afternoon, went to get the food, it was warm. The fridge was turned off. Needless to say, the food had to thrown out. Not a happy camper! Second, Pool was under renovation which means the pool is closed. The description stated there was a pol available! This should have been a note for l person like me when looking for places to stay with a swimming pool for my bad back. If I had known, I would have stayed at a different place with a cool pool to relax in. Could not go elsewhere due to monies not able to refund. Will not do that again, next time, will post when I get there. No pool, no monies! Lesson learned?

The lobby, parking lot & rooms were very clean. The new person in the front desk was welcoming. We were on the 2nd floor and the steps are too steep; makes it challenging without an elevator for people with disability. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. The pillows need to be changed; all were flat. Overall, the Lodge is the only hotel near family.

Service at our late checkin was very accomodating. Truly appreciated the effortsafyer a long day of travel. Airconditioning worked very good. Only drawback was direction for use of the TV. Definitely not a deterent, maybe a suggestion for a more fluid stay. While we didn't request service for our 2 night stay it was provided and appreciated.once the pool is up and running and breakfast service provided once again this would be a perfect place to stY while we visit our son and family.

I got 2 rooms and they were both dirty. One bed was stained. The bed in the second room had so many hairs on it as if an animal rubbed all over it. We asked them to clean the room and they did but why not just move us rooms at that point instead of having us wait even after we were already checked in ?

I really liked this hotel. First off, the service was great. The room was very clean and modern, even with usb outlets for charging your devices.... AND THEY ACTUALLY WORK. The wifi was decent with a 17 mbps download and 18 mbps upload. Tested with ookla and it said it should support 2160p (4K) streaming. I really liked the regular style drip coffee machine. The area around the hotel felt very safe and quiet even though the highway (CA 20) is right there. Overall I definitely like this hotel and highly recommend it. This place is going to be our go to now while in the clearlake area.

This is always my go to hotel when I’m in the Clear Lake Oaks area. The prices are very reasonable, the hotel is always always immaculate. They could do a little better on their breakfast, but there are other restaurants in walking distance if you need something more substantial. The staff is always welcoming and address me by name… definitely my HomeAway from home.

This is a good basic motel. It’s been freshly painted with updated floors moldings. It’s very clean. There’s no elevator. The HVAC is noisy and you can hear the road traffic in front. No breakfast but there’s a good diner within walking distance.

The last day of our stay, we were woken up at 7:30am by manager, saying, "House keeping!" and she attempted to open our door. I closed it and said, "why are you waking us up so early?" The water pressure was strong, however, the shower did not drain well.

Perfectly adequate. Firm, comfortable king size bed. Great linens. The shower had no safety bars and was slippery, so not safe enough for free-standing.

Don't let them fool you! No breakfast, even though it's listed as having it. Beds are decent Staff isn't the hospitable, very short and crude. Rooms are spacious and have upgraded to USB plugs.

I booked three nights but upon arrival I realized I had booked the wrong hotel miles from where I needed to be. I told the gentleman at the desk I would only be staying one night. He said he couldn’t do anything and to speak to Expedia. I stayed one night but booked the next two with Expedia at the correct motel. L as ke point charged me three nights. Multiple calls/requests to to see manager of this hotel was ignored. do not stay here!

This place is going to be our go to now while in the clearlake area.

I really liked this hotel. First off, the service was great. The room was very clean and modern, even with usb outlets for charging your devices.... AND THEY ACTUALLY WORK. The wifi was decent with a 17 mbps download and 18 mbps upload. Tested with ookla and it said it should support 2160p (4K) streaming. I really liked the regular style drip coffee machine. The area around the hotel felt very safe and quiet even though the highway (CA 20) is right there. Overall I definitely like this hotel and highly recommend it. This place is going to be our go to now while in the clearlake area.

Loved this place. Super easy to find. Parking was abundant. The room was clean and quiet. Close to restaurants and gas station. Staff was so friendly and pleasant.

Hotel Staff was very helpful and nice. Area was nice. A bit noisy from Hwy 20 traffic but that is to be expected. Close to stores and restaurants. Clean rooms.

Don't let them fool you! No breakfast, even though it's listed as having it. Beds are decent Staff isn't the hospitable, very short and crude. Rooms are spacious and have upgraded to USB plugs.

This is a good basic motel. It’s been freshly painted with updated floors moldings. It’s very clean. There’s no elevator. The HVAC is noisy and you can hear the road traffic in front. No breakfast but there’s a good diner within walking distance.

Hotel Staff was outstanding. Professional, helpful and very courteous. Also there is a wonderful family restaurant right across the parking lot that was excellent. Highly recommended.

This is always my go to hotel when I’m in the Clear Lake Oaks area. The prices are very reasonable, the hotel is always always immaculate. They could do a little better on their breakfast, but there are other restaurants in walking distance if you need something more substantial. The staff is always welcoming and address me by name… definitely my HomeAway from home.

Service at our late checkin was very accomodating. Truly appreciated the effortsafyer a long day of travel. Airconditioning worked very good. Only drawback was direction for use of the TV. Definitely not a deterent, maybe a suggestion for a more fluid stay. While we didn't request service for our 2 night stay it was provided and appreciated.once the pool is up and running and breakfast service provided once again this would be a perfect place to stY while we visit our son and family.

Pool was empty. No curtains, just shutters that did not close enough to keep the light out. Property otherwise was good and employees helpful.

The room was clean but so hot when we got there. It took awhile for it to cool off and we did not check in until 10pm, so it was a little uncomfortable. But we loved our king size bed and the room size was nice and the bathroom was fine. We left in the morning. I was going to drop by the lobby to grab a bottle of water bc it was mentioned the night before when we checked in. It was 9 or 930 and the front was locked. I thought that was kind of strange. Overall, good, I would highly recommend. The bed was good. The staff was friendly.

We truly enjoyed this stay. Room was clean, shower was clean but had some peeling paint. No big deal, just noted. Air conditioner was quiet and worked well. Best part, room was made up and readycafter first night. Truly appreciated this extra service. Note: coffee packets, couldn't open them. Luckily, Starbucks was on the way to my destination. Will stay again. Good price as well.
