The overall politeness of the staff. The cleanliness of the room. And how easy it was to get in and out of the parking lot. I really enjoyed the fact that everything is basically in walking distance. Overall amazing experience with this hotel. Have stayed here before and loved it and came back and will continue to use this hotel in the future.

You can tell it was an upgraded motel but for the best. It’s cute and clean, however, we needed to wash our clothes and the machine was a chained machine in the walkway. I wasnt expecting anything luxurious but didn’t feel expect homeless in the alley and around the corner and across the street. Great for the night.

Nice remodeled rooms, easy check-in. Great location on the edge of Downtown, low rates which include free parking- can’t beat it. My only issue is the AC units are quite loud- couldn’t hear the TV without blasting the volume.

Convenient location and reasonable price. Nice to have free parking. Beds were comfortable although no extra blankets, only the thin coverlet. The facility seems pretty worn although they've done a few minor renovations to make it look a bit more modern. Overall it was totally sufficient for one night and very convenient to see a show at the Crescent Ballroom.

Easy check-in. Suited my needs perfectly. Well priced. Not fancy but clean and friendly staff. Room was exactly as described and shown in pictures. Parking lot is small but we didn’t have any issues. East 20 min walk to Footprint Center

Spacious room. Clean. Def more interesting than usual decor -- urban industrial, but kinda fun. Thankful I had ear plugs as some nearby traffic was a bit loud, but for the price, this place was great. Would stay again.

Would not recommend this hotel for those with a young family. Hotel is located in a questionable area with bars on the windows. Floors were extremely dirty; immediately after showering, quick walk around the room and bottom of feet were covered. Looks like the hotel was redone but cheapy done at best.

I had a great experience here! Check in was super easy and everyone was SO nice! My housekeeper was super quick, as she would stop in when I was in the room. She made sure everything was stocked and even found some decaf coffee for me, when I mentioned I couldn’t do caffeine. The parking lot is small, yet I found a perfect spot near my room each night without issue. There is a little construction noise from across the street right now, but it was not a huge deal and never went on too early or too late. I found everything I needed was very close by and even walked to a restaurant about two blocks away. It is a bit outdated, but the cleanliness and friendliness of everyone matters more to me. The bathroom/shower was completely new and all my linens smelled freshly laundered. Honestly one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed at in recent years. My room also came with a brand new fridge and microwave, they still had the sterile tape on parts. They were super cute and retro looking. I would come here again, without a doubt. Oh, and the parking is FREE.

I would have enjoyed the stay more but the upstairs unit was so loud they kept me up all night. It was so loud. Hardwood floors. Hear everything. Ruins the overall experience tbh. Bright side the Front desk staff was very nice but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Checking in was easy and the room was the perfect size! Being my first time in Phoenix, I felt very comfortable, no loud noises, close to Downtown/ASU, I would recommend staying here.

The room was ok and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Its in a decent and safe location. Parking was right in front of the room. For the price, its a decent alternative that is budget friendly. It had a nice tv but the cable/internet speed was so bad that you could not watch the tv. Probably better that way.

This may be considered a two-star hotel but it comes with 5-star customer service. The room seemed newly renovated and was clean. Although Wi-Fi was a bit choppy to begin, they got it fixed. What was absolutely amazing however was the stellar customer service at the front desk.

Manager very accommodating with my request for security. Prescription sunglasses fell out of my bag in the room. Realized sunglasses missing five days after my stay. Manager had them at the front desk. It was wonderful!

The people who run this property go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They are kind, helpful and have a great sense of humor. Parking is included in your stay and is on the property rather than having to parking in a parking structure near where you are staying. The beds and pillows are comfortable. They supply your room with multiple towels-which is always a plus. You are within a 15 minute walk from so many restaurants and bars. I walked to the PHX Arena for a concert and enjoyed dinner at a local restaurant. I will definitely return to this property.

Safe and secure downtown location. The man who checked me in (the owner?) was very helpful letting me check in early. He was also very helpful coming to my room to find out why the tv wasn't working, and repairing it. I was able to walk everywhere that I needed to go downtown and found good places to eat.

We had travel issues and needed to cancel the first night of our reservation and the office staff was so understanding and then the next day when we had to arrive well before check in they kept our bags safe while we found a restaurant to wait in. Very nice staff, comfortable room. The location was great for downtown. We loved that the TVs had streaming. We would definitely stay here again.

For the price of the room, it was brilliant and comfortable stay and a nice easy walk to the city centre (downtown). The room was cleaned daily and was comfortable. The staff was responsive and very helpful. Will definitely save this hotel for whenever I’m back in Phoenix.

Near venue for concert. Property managers very helpful. Not safe to walk alone after dark. Room clean and well maintained.

We booked the room because we were going to the show across the street at the van buren. It is a busy downtown location. The room was very clean. I thought the room was cute. Had a good sleep. Easy access to I-10 and off we went.

The people who run this property go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They are kind, helpful and have a great sense of humor. Parking is included in your stay and is on the property rather than having to parking in a parking structure near where you are staying. The beds and pillows are comfortable. They supply your room with multiple towels-which is always a plus. You are within a 15 minute walk from so many restaurants and bars. I walked to the PHX Arena for a concert and enjoyed dinner at a local restaurant. I will definitely return to this property.

Food is not available at the hotel itself but there are lots of nearby places to eat as well as delivery. The rooms are neat, clean and comfortable. The beds are nice, not hard as a rock. Great pillows too, soft and fluffy.. Great AC and that's important in Phoenix! Easy parking, right in front of the room. Overall it was a pleasant experience and would definitely stay again.

Kevin at the from desk was very friendly and courtesy. A/C was a bit noisy, but ok. Room was clean and fresh. Great location for the baseball game and eateries. We are returning again next month for over another overnight stay.

You never know what you will get when you go with a non-chain hotel. We were very impressed with the room and the service. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Walking distance to the convention center and Chase Field. The staff was very helpful with answering questions and giving suggestions for area restaurants and things to do while in Phoenix.

It is indoors. That is mostly all that I need. It is two blocks from the federal courthouse, which is where I work when I am in Phoenix. It is right on Van Buren and the walls are thin, so if you've never been in a big city before, it might not be your cup of tea. Zippy's, Cibo, Vin and maybe even Taco Boys are all within walking distance depending on your tolerance for walking. Taco Boys is a bit of a walk, but they are grilling over a wood fire so it is worth the trip. The bed, shower, toilet, refrigerator, microwave and wifi all work. If your needs are more upscale than that, there are plenty of places that are happy to charge you more.

This was a lovely little motel wonderfully renovated with just the nicest lady running it. They really did a nice job with the exterior and the interior as well for the most part. Other than a few hiccups. I do think the shower and bathroom could be cleaner. The TV in our room did not work and the ice machine was not working while we were there. There was also extremely limited barking, like not enough for all the rooms that is relatively outside of their control, but they seem to have some kind of outdoor patio in the parking lot that seems less useful than more parking would be the lady running the front desk who I assume is also the owner was very nice. The check-in and checkout process was very easy and smooth. She even gave me a bottle of water for free, which they normally charge for because it was very hot out. The other main thing is that the motel is near a fire station and the main road, so it is very noisy and there are some gaps in the doors of the motel that make it pretty easy for noise to get in. We didn’t have trouble sleeping because we’re pretty heavy sleepers, but there were definitely some noises. Some of the businesses next to the motel are not ideal and have less than ideal clientele, but we didn’t run into any issues and we walked the area several times overall very lovely place. If I had to pick my number one feedback is the bathroom, particularly the shower the toilet and the wall behind the toilet need to be cleaner. We will return!
