Delightful thatched cottage in beautiful sleepy Dorset village and countryside

Lovely cottage, we ordered food through the host which was amazing and great to have on our arrival. We did some lovely walks to Dorchester and Osmington. Cottage clean and had all the necessary amenities including a large fridge.Lots of character including a few low beams.

Delightful property next to a very helpful pub. Quite a distance from the coast but plenty to see nearby.The kitchen was well equipped and enough for everybody/The beds were comfortable and clean linen and towels. We wish this had been put in the description. Getting in contact with anyone before the stay was very difficult/Parking space for three cars was very tight., we now know why.

Cracking property very well equipped, excellent all round cottage, lovely setting.

Very spacious cottage, comfortable and homely. Extremely well equipped. Beautiful rear garden, with unusual arbutus [strawberry] tree, excellent for our dog. A very friendly and helpful host at the inn next door, who also looked after the cottage. Can recommend the large lasagna, fish pie and Thai curry dishes prepared by the inn's chef. No complaints or quibbles whatsoever.

Das Ferienhaus war für uns 7 erwachsene Personen sehr gut geeignet. 2 DZ inkl. Dusche/ WC; 2DZ mit gemeinsamem Bad mit Badewanne+Dusche+WC; 1 separates WC Nähe Wohnzimmer; 1 EZ. Kücheneinrichtung perfekt; Stauraum in den Schlafzimmern etwas knapp. Parkplatz für 2 Autos vor der Tür. Hübscher Garten. Sehr empfehlenswert ist der Pub nebenan. Sofort Tisch für 7 Personen organisiert und vorzüglich gegessen. WLan hat funktioniert. Wahrscheinlich neuer Router.
