Amazing stay ,staff couldnt have been more helpful. Breakfast was really good quality. View beautiful. The hotel is very central to everything and would highly recommend. Hope to go back at some stage. All staff made you feel welcome especially Annliya who was so helpful and knowledgable about area and nothing was a problem very kind person and amazing at her job.

We have been coming to the Ro regularly over the past five years, but sadly this will be our last visit. It is clear the property has changed management and, while prices have increased, standards have deteriorated dramatically. My initial mistake was booking an accessible room in error — entirely my fault and accepted. As the hotel was full due to a coach party, we were offered family room 222 as an alternative. We accepted it immediately and paid an additional £80 to upgrade, despite a strong smell in the room, as no alternative was offered. Once settled in, the problems became apparent. The window had to remain open because of the smell, resulting in the room filling with bugs. The window seal was extremely dirty, there were three water stains on the ceiling, and plumbing from the room above ran through ours, creating an horrendous noise whenever they used the shower or toilet. Behind the door, a large, freyed section of carpet prevented it from closing properly. Our key card also failed, meaning staff had to let us in and out for the first two days. On the first use of the bathroom, the lock broke and, despite the front desk staff being apologetic to our faces, they were ineffective in resolving the issues ,the bathroom lock was only finally fixed on our last night. To make matters worse, our room was only half serviced on the final night and the beds had not been made. When we pointed this out to housekeeping, they simply laughed. Very disappointing and will not return.

Awful, when I arrived the too small car park was full, no nearby off-street parking, Numerous other arriving guests were having the same problem. Then my room key card never worked, back and two to reception, in the end the receptionist let me into the room & I never got a working room card, had to leave the room door propped open when going for breakfast. There was a wedding on which took over the whole hotel, one of them set off the fire alarm and it was loud all night, couldn’t eat or even have a drink at the hotel. Room was nice enough when I eventually got in there but a very chaotic experience overall.
