RIJA Riga City Centre Hotel

L’hôtel est bien situé mais les murs sont si fins que l’on entend ce qu’il se passe dans le couloir et les chambres à côté. De plus, le lit est de mauvaise qualité, on se croirait sur un trampoline.

Guests who are coming in the night should maybe be not so loud

I don't know why this is listed as a hotel. There was NO staff, we paid for a city view and got a window looking at a brick wall. There was mold on the walls and the cover was an old towel. Absolutely astounding they list themselves as a four star hotel. I would not recommend this "hotel" to anyone.

Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing, particularly given the circumstances. We had to stay at the hotel because our flight was cancelled. I had initially made the booking for the wrong date and called to request a change to the same day. Unfortunately, the lady I spoke to on the phone was extremely unhelpful and showed very little empathy or understanding. Rather than simply assisting with what was a relatively minor change, she became irritated and raised her voice during the call. As it was already late in the evening and we had no other option following the flight cancellation, we had little choice but to proceed with the booking. The room itself was also very disappointing. The beds were extremely uncomfortable spring mattresses, and the basic amenities were inadequate — there were only two cups and two sugar sachets, with no tea or coffee provided. There was also just a single chair and a small table, which was cluttered with items that were of little use. Most concerningly, we also found a used condom in the toilet, which raises serious questions about the standard of cleaning and hygiene. Overall, this was a very poor experience, from the customer service to the condition and cleanliness of the room. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend considering other options if possible.

Vi valgte dette hotellet fordi det skulle være sentralt, men fra gamlebyen var det ca 30 min å gå, så veldig sentralt var det ikke. NB! Vær obs på at hotels.com IKKE deler kontaktinformasjonen din med hotellet, så du MÅ kontakte hotellet i forkant slik at de kan få sendt deg info vedr. innsjekk da dette er et resepsjonsfritt hotell. Hotellet har heller ikke daglig vask, men hver 3.dag. Det er veldig lytt i bygget og du kan høre TV på naborommet. hotellet er midt i smørøye av de mange vakre Art Nouveau bygningene.
