Everything about our stay was wonderful. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast delivered to our room was delicious. The private parking lot was much appreciated. We are vegetarian so the attraction was immediate.

This was a perfect stopover on our way to Scotland. Very comfortable clean room. Welcoming hosts including providing freshly baked muffins! Secure storage for our bikes and a private car park. Within an easy walk of town to find somewhere to eat. Brilliant!

Only a short walk into Penrith, free off-road parking, comfy bed, welcoming host - and unlike some B&Bs in Penrith it doesn't demand a two-night stay. The building isn't ultra-modern, but it suited our stay just fine.

Room was lovely and clean and hosts very friendly and welcoming. Your breakfast is brought to your room, which is a lovely touch. I stayed in a single room right at the top of the house. If I had one little thing to say, it would be the lack of a mirror in the bedroom to get ready and do my hair, but other than that, no complaints. There was private parking at the back of the hotel which is a bonus as Penrith can be difficult for that.

I've stayed in a lot of B&Bs. This is the best with 10/10 hygiene, clearness, comfort of room size and beds and the delicious breakfast served to your room. Mark and Paula are very kind, understanding and professional hosts. They have provided a perfect stay in the accommodation.

Stayed for one night as part of my walking trip. Was instantly made to feel comfortable and was offered a piece of cake, which was a lovely touch. The room was clean and large for a single and the bathroom was great. Breakfast was also lovely. For the price, it was excellent value.

Had a very pleasant stay at the Norcroft Guest House. The hotel is clean and comfortable and located in a quiet part of Penrith, just a short walk away from the town centre. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. Great value for money too!

A lovely property and lovely people. Very comfortable bed. Everywhere was very clean. There was perhaps some need for improvements in some areas but only standard wear and tear. Nothing to spoil the stay. Far enough out of town to be away from any noise but close enough to access on foot. A good base for Ullswater and other lake district locations. Overall I would definitely recommend this place for comfort and convenience oh and a cracking breakfast 😊

I was given a very warm welcome and offered a homemade cookie ( very delicious). I stayed in.room.8 a single small but more than adequate, everything was provided and the room and bathroom.were spotlessly clean. The hotel requires that you pre-order breakfast for delivery at a chosen time slot, the next morning it arrived bang on time and was lovely and hot with everything you could expect. Thanks for a great stay

Huge room, dressing room, and nice bath. Comfortable bed, great WiFi. Lovely, friendly owners. I’m not a breakfast person, so I can’t speak to that, though the menu looked lovely, it smelled wonderful, and it was delivered to the room. It’s an easy walk to the town center and the rail station. I can’t fault Norcroft Guest House, and I highly recommend.

Great attention to detail and a lovely bit of cake on arrival. Room was very clean and spacious for a single. The breakfast is even brought to your room in the morning at the specified time of your choice which was awesome. Food was excellent and hot. Overall fantastic value for money. And half the price of the local premier inn. Cant recommended this bed and breakfast enough. John Room 6

Mark was very accommodating and my room was really big and comfortable Water pressure very good for having a shower I only stayed 1 night but I know the area very well and the guest house is a short walk from most places in town but quiet and peaceful guest house location Penrith is a beautiful picture postcard town and very handy base for traveling to the Lake District I will certainly be booking again I didn’t stay for breakfast but the menu look delicious

A great location and a very comfortable property with proprietors that were amazingly accommodating. Fingers crossed you get some warm cookies upon arrival and the breakfast is spot on even if you are not a vegetarian.

Overnight stay and arrived quite late. Hosts very welcoming and went out of their way to find out information to help me on my journey. Also brought breakfast early so I could catch early bus comfortably. Short but nice stay - and thank you for home-cooked cookies!

Excellent room, presentable & clean with an ideal table for sitting at for breakfast. Bright, light and could get a decent breeze in. The hosts are the making of the place with how lovely & accommodating they are with dietey requirements and flexible with arrivals and departures. Having breakfast served to your room at a time you choose! Excellent breakfasts too. Absolutely ideal and fantastic value for money.

I enjoyed my stay at Norcroft Guest House. The staff members are kind. I was able to check-in early and was so grateful for that. I was offered a slice of lemon cake on arrival (delicious!) and offered fruit to take on my last morning when I wasn't going to be there for breakfast. The breakfast was tasty and delivered to my room at the time I requested. I would definitely stay here again if ever in Penrith in the future. Thank you! My only suggestion would be an upgrade to the mattress and pillows.

A traditional bed & breakfast. Great communication from the hosts in advance, and they were very helpful on arrival sorting out parking and fresh water to take up. The room was comfortable and clean. I didn't have time for breakfast, but it would have been served at the room (you pre-order the night before). The hosts were very friendly and I would stay there again.

Approx 5 min walk to the town centre and 10 min to the rail station. The room was really nice, very clean and breakfast was served to my room. The 2 people running the guesthouse were very lovely. I hope to come back here again.

I’m not a breakfast person, so I can’t speak to that, though the menu looked lovely, it smelled wonderful, and it was delivered to the room. It’s an easy walk to the town center and the rail station. I can’t fault Norcroft Guest House, and I highly recommend.

Huge room, dressing room, and nice bath. Comfortable bed, great WiFi. Lovely, friendly owners. Had a very pleasant stay at the Norcroft Guest House. The hotel is clean and comfortable and located in a quiet part of Penrith, just a short walk away from the town centre. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. Great value for money too!

My son and I stayed at the Norcroft Guest House for two nights - one on our way up to Scotland and one on the way down. The guest house was ideal for our purposes. Clean, comfortable, well situated (being just a five minute walk from Penrith town centre) and the breakfast was excellent.

Had a great stay at the Norcroft. It’s a traditional B&B and the owners are friendly and welcoming. Perfect quiet residential setting and only a short walk to the high street.

Only a short walk into Penrith, free off-road parking, comfy bed, welcoming host - and unlike some B&Bs in Penrith it doesn't demand a two-night stay. The building isn't ultra-modern, but it suited our stay just fine.

The owners were really sweet and made sure everything was alright with the room and breakfast. They also handed me a fresh chocolate muffin right when I got there! I found the location really convenient for walking into town or to the bus station, it was pretty close but still far away enough to be really quiet/peaceful at night.

Was looking forward to a lovely traditional English breakfast but they only provided a vegetarian option which was so very disappointing . Especially after a long tiring day before. So had to find a nice cafe which did a fabulous traditional none vegetarian breakfast.

Only slight criticism is id like bacon and proper sausages for breakfast, however location was good. Free parking. We got some fresh cookies on arrival which were amazing. Id definitely stay here again if im ever in penrith. Mark was an amazing host.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast delivered to our room was delicious. The private parking lot was much appreciated. We are vegetarian so the attraction was immediate.

I was given a very warm welcome and offered a homemade cookie ( very delicious). I stayed in.room.8 a single small but more than adequate, everything was provided and the room and bathroom.were spotlessly clean. The hotel requires that you pre-order breakfast for delivery at a chosen time slot, the next morning it arrived bang on time and was lovely and hot with everything you could expect. Thanks for a great stay

The room and bathroom were clean, Not a complaint but the shower was a bit small, if you're on the larger side of life you might find it difficult. Shower gel and soap was all vegan too. The owners were friendly and helpful, gave me some good advice on places to get food on the evening. I stayed for 1 night and it was perfect. Breakfast was tasty, perfect for a vegan and set me up for the day. I'd definitely stay again

We were pleasantly suprised!! Clean, comfortable and cosy. Staff/ management, were very kind and welcoming. Loved the eco friendly bathroom products, and the fair trade coffee and tea was top notch. Being able to choose a place that specialised in vegan and vegetarian breakfast options was an absolute bonus. Price was very reasonable. Excellent location for hikers to stay, we bumped into another member of our hiking group so were able to offer them a lift. Staff ensured our breakfast was served in time for our early start. Will deffinately be booking again for our next hike.
