Informazioni su questa struttura

Escape to a unique, off-grid retreat on Palomar Mountain. This 2-story vintage lodge sits at 3,700 feet on 67 acres, offering breath-taking views of the ocean and mountains. Powered by solar and fed by an artesian well, this historic and magical place is where you can truly unplug.Step inside your cozy lodge, featuring a ready-to-go kitchen with a gas stove and comfortable beds. Unwind on your private deck, soak in the stunning scenery, and watch for local wildlife like red-tailed hawks and deer. Inside, a wood-burning stove (with plenty of firewood provided) creates the perfect ambiance for a relaxing evening.Explore the ranch's dedicated yoga deck and beautiful hiking trails, or discover historic sites like the ruins of Nate Harrison's stone house. We're proud stewards of this land and live on-site, with a Camp Host available 24/7 to ensure your stay is comfortable and memorable. Located just 10 miles from the famous Palomar Observatory, this is the perfect place to recharge and reconnect with nature. The journey is part of the experience. After turning off CA-76, you'll travel approximately 6 scenic miles to reach the property. The first mile is paved, followed by about 5 miles of gravel along Nate Harrison Grade Road. This is a rural mountain road that can be narrow, uneven, and bumpy in sections, and it requires slow, careful driving. While it is typically accessible in a standard passenger vehicle in good condition, we strongly recommend driving cautiously, ensuring you have enough fuel, and that your brakes are in good working order for the descent.Along the way, you'll be treated to sweeping views, and you'll know you've arrived when you reach a sharp left switchback marked by a stone memorial to Nate Harrison on the right-hand side, along with the sign.Noise and Campfire RulesMusic: Please keep all music off after 7:00 PM so everyone can enjoy the orchestra of nature.Quiet Hours: Begin at 9:00 PM. We ask all guests to keep noise to a minimum during this time.Campfires: Begin dimming fires at 9:30 PM - Fires must be fully extinguished by 11:00 PM (A shovel is located near the fire pit for your convenience)Pets are welcome!Your furry friends are welcome! A pet fee will apply per pet to all reservations with pets, we kindly ask that all pets are declared prior to arrival. To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, pets must be leashed and not left unattended in the tent.Embrace NatureAs this is an outdoor glamping experience, you may occasionally encounter insects or wildlife despite our regular cleaning and preventative measures. We are proud stewards, a 67-acre off-grid retreat high on Palomar Mountain.
