A good ibis hotel, just like all the others. Helpful staff. The location is as interesting as it seems on the map. Not very walkable, but there are a few options also by foot. On bike, taking the dartford crossing shuttle the next morning, the location was just what we needed.

Ample on-site parking, Clean, spacious and comfortable room. Great on-site bar and restaurant, with a good selection of food and drink at reasonable prices. Room serviced every day, great Wi-Fi. Great location, close to the M25, Thurrock Retail Park, Lakeside Shopping Centre and Chafford Hundred train station. My hotel of choice when visiting this area. Highly recommended.

I was given one of the disabled access rooms with a complete wet room rather than a bathroom (304). The room itself was relatively clean but the extractor above the bed was very very dusty and unpleasant. The lighting in the wet room was constantly flickering which would be a problem for someone who had issues with this type of faulty lighting. The wet room itself was not in good order in that after a shower the room was flooded and this water did not drain away overnight so was walking in cold puddles come the morning. On a positive note the bed was very comfortable and the WiFi service was excellent. I would stay again but I would stipulate in future that I wanted a standard room and not one of the disabled access rooms. Just to be clear I wanted to report the issues on my checkout but there was no staff in reception to report this too when I left this morning.
