I've stayed here on several occasions, the staff are always friendly and prompt, the rooms and general decor of the place are well finished. The food is exceptional, and the portion size is very generous! a lovely place overall.

The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and well appointed facilities- it was good to have a bath with shower in the ensuite. The whole premises was warm and inviting. Food and real ale were highest quality and staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice cosy pub and rooms. Excellent reasonably priced food. Outside seating. Room had kettle and various teas and coffees and biscuits and sweets. Toiletries from the new forest which was a nice touch and I may have to purchase some for myself. Helpful friendly staff who made the whole experience quick and easy. Would definitely stay again if needed somewhere in the area and would recommended to friends and family.

This was a wonderful family run gastro pub with a varied menu of top quality dishes presented as worthy of a top class hotel with the added bonus of 4 well kept real ales. Even breakfast offered a choice of gourmet dishes in addition to individually boxed Kellogg’s cereals. Out twin room was modern, newly refurbished to the highest standard & included thoughtful extras, including a much needed cooling fan in the atypical 25 degree heat. Spacious free car park. All staff from the warm receptionist’s welcome to cheery barman & helpful restaurant staff were charming & eager to ensure our stay was perfect. And it was!

Where an enjoyable nights at The Woodfalls Inn. We stayed in room six, which we would highly recommend for families. The separate living area and bathroom and ensuite facilities gave us flexibility to coexist with autonomy. We were generally not impacted by the fact that we were above a working bar and restaurant. The staff were very friendly throughout our thanks in particular to Andrew, Connor and Lottie for making us very welcome. We also enjoyed the quiz night during our stay, and the food that we ordered, including the breakfast, were much to our liking. Thank you once again to the team at the Woodfalls Inn.

We had a fantastic stay here and can thoroughly recommend it. The hotel has been recently refurbished so everything is spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated and contemporary yet comfortable. Our room had everything we needed with additional extras like luxury toiletries, biscuits and sweets. We had a superb breakfast there and friends also joined us for an evening meal in the restaurant. We each chose something different, which was beautifully cooked and presented and we all thoroughly enjoyed. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout, without being intrusive. Overall a 10/10 from us! We have already recommended it to others.

Not the best. Very noisy hotel as no soundproofing/insulation between room. I could literally hear everything the room below and opposite me was doing/saying. Very creaky floors. Shower didn't work, only scalding hot water

We were inspired to return after a very positive previous stay, albeit a couple of nights. Unfortunately this stay did not replicate the same standard. This is a pub with restaurant and rooms, not able to be a hotel. Positives Comfortable sleeping arrangements, some audible interruptions from downstairs, doors banging, toilet hand driers and music bass playing. Andrew and Jayk attentive and caring. Sunday Roast excellent. Builds Evident there is a disconnect between quoting to operate as a 3-star Hotel online (see Google) and being able to operate as one: Food unavailable one day due to Chef apparently out sick so had to source food elsewhere and were forced to eat in our room. Signs of food being cooked in the kitchen however for others. Sunday only Roasts available, however another group were able to get other dishes served, showing inconsistent treatment again. Manager illusive to address these issues themselves, sending less experienced staff to manage. A poor look. We no longer had faith in being served food so decided to take our dining elsewhere to avoid disappointment. In summary, OK for 1-2 nights passing through, any longer stay and in the current set up the cracks appeared for us at least. Pub is ok Restaurant can be good, when open and has stock. Rooms good, but can be noisy when pub operating. Staff need upskilling. Would not return based on last experience, and not willing to recommend in case of disappointing.

I cannot fault this fabulous place. The family ‘suite’ was beyond our expectations. So much space, the comfiest beds and immaculate throughout. The food and service were fantastic. If only we could have stayed longer.

Nice hotel , I was in room 7 which was a little noisy with the kitchen below . Will definitely request a different room next time I stay Lovely location , bar staff were friendly and food options were good . A bit disappointed that breakfast wasn’t available until 8am … no continental option for early rises .

This was my favorite part of my trip to England! The Inn was adorable, they were able to accommodate us for a double bed on a last minute booking, and the staff were very welcoming. It very much had a family atmosphere and was so cozy. I wish we could have stayed more than one night! The breakfast was delicious as well. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Stayed here many times, always a comfortable stay, friendly staff and great food.

Our visit was just overnight. The location of Woodfalls Inn was perfect for us as we visited people/places in Southampton, Salisbury and Fordingbridge. Perfect if you are visiting the New Forest. Everything in the hotel felt new and pristine. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The price was very competitive compared to other places we looked at in the area. Certainly one we will remember for when we are next down that way.

Nice hotel , I was in room 7 which was a little noisy with the kitchen below . Will definitely request a different room next time I stay Lovely location , bar staff were friendly and food options were good . A bit disappointed that breakfast wasn’t available until 8am … no continental option for early rises .

I've stayed here on several occasions, the staff are always friendly and prompt, the rooms and general decor of the place are well finished. The food is exceptional, and the portion size is very generous! a lovely place overall.

The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and well appointed facilities- it was good to have a bath with shower in the ensuite. The whole premises was warm and inviting. Food and real ale were highest quality and staff were friendly and helpful.

We were inspired to return after a very positive previous stay, albeit a couple of nights. Unfortunately this stay did not replicate the same standard. This is a pub with restaurant and rooms, not able to be a hotel. Positives Comfortable sleeping arrangements, some audible interruptions from downstairs, doors banging, toilet hand driers and music bass playing. Andrew and Jayk attentive and caring. Sunday Roast excellent. Builds Evident there is a disconnect between quoting to operate as a 3-star Hotel online (see Google) and being able to operate as one: Food unavailable one day due to Chef apparently out sick so had to source food elsewhere and were forced to eat in our room. Signs of food being cooked in the kitchen however for others. Sunday only Roasts available, however another group were able to get other dishes served, showing inconsistent treatment again. Manager illusive to address these issues themselves, sending less experienced staff to manage. A poor look. We no longer had faith in being served food so decided to take our dining elsewhere to avoid disappointment. In summary, OK for 1-2 nights passing through, any longer stay and in the current set up the cracks appeared for us at least. Pub is ok Restaurant can be good, when open and has stock. Rooms good, but can be noisy when pub operating. Staff need upskilling. Would not return based on last experience, and not willing to recommend in case of disappointing.

We had a fantastic stay here and can thoroughly recommend it. The hotel has been recently refurbished so everything is spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated and contemporary yet comfortable. Our room had everything we needed with additional extras like luxury toiletries, biscuits and sweets. We had a superb breakfast there and friends also joined us for an evening meal in the restaurant. We each chose something different, which was beautifully cooked and presented and we all thoroughly enjoyed. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout, without being intrusive. Overall a 10/10 from us! We have already recommended it to others.

Hotel was nice but we had not been informed the kitchen was out of action. Having stayed there before we enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Luckily this time we didn’t need dinner but we were gutted yhat they could only offer us toast and granola for breakfast and that was at the full price!

The Woodfalls Inn was very disappointing. I understand that it has changed hands in the last year and so I'm hoping that there will be improvements. Maybe a few rooms have been done up because otherwise I can't understand the wonderful reviews that other guests have left. The room - very tired and shabby. Stains on the carpet, chipped paintwork on the furniture, walls and woodwork. A very small wardrobe that was too shallow for the hangers and no other storage of use. The kettle, coffee machine, crockery etc were all on the small dressing table so there was nowhere to put makeup, laptop etc. There was a strange smell also. The shower rainhead was totally blocked with limescale. I had to scrape each outlet to get any water which was then scalding hot. The service - We stayed for four nights. After the first night the bed was made, bins emptied and coffee etc replenished. The bed was never made up again although the towels were changed. After the second night I had to ask for clean cups and glasses and replenishment of coffee, tea and milk. When I brought this up to the member of staff behind the bar, the manager was sat at a table behind me but made no attempt to apologise or provide any customer service. Facilities - the car park is limited and parking is on the nearby residential road if the car park is full. The restaurant closed on the Wednesday at 8:00 and last orders at the bar were at 9:30.

We had a great stay at Woodfalls Inn. The room was clean, staff were brilliant. The pub had darts, pool tables, TV for the world cup which was great for our stay. Perfect stay to explore the New Forest.
