Rooms in desperate need of an upgrade, especially the bathrooms. No air conditioning so was sweltering hot. Not worth it at all for the price you pay and they charge £10 for car parking!

Overnight stay in Watford as part of a business trip. i stayed one night. The hotel was easy to find, the gym facilities were good and the food in the restaurant was enjoyable.

Ideal location for travelling in to Wembley. 10 mins from Watford junction by car. Ample parking space, food options on site but also good value for money carvery less than 5 mins away. Check in/out hassle free , staff warm and friendly. Room clean and well looked after. Paid in advance for breakfast which was well worth it. Plenty of options th choose from. All in all a comfortable and pretty seamless experience. Only downside was my team lost at Wembley.

On arrival staff were very welcoming, I think the payment of £10 for parking overnight for guests is outrageous. I have been staying at this hotel on and off since 1992 and have never paid for parking before, this should be free for guest staying overnight and others not staying should pay. This will certainly effect my decision to use the hotel again, the mattress was very soft and not good for anyone's back. The breakfast was good.

Quite expensive compared to other 4 star hotels I have stayed in previously, disappointed that there was no A/C in the room, no fridge, not snacks... Bathroom was nice with good shower and room size was good with comfy bed. Dining was limited menu and hardly enough staff. Waited for a while at the bar each time due to lack of staff. Surprised to also be charged an additional £10 to park on top of the already overpriced room rates to be honest. Staff were very good and did their utmost to accommodate. I travel around this area frequently but not sure I will stay here again at these prices.

Room for 3 adults (sisters). Main bed very comfortable, but sofa bed not so much. Facilities in room lovely. Excellent breakfast with good range of hours, but totally let down by lack of cups - only had paper cups for coffee / tea - really not impressed. Fantastic gym with 24 hour access and great machines & good variety. Would recommend

Was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews but we found absolutely no problems at all. Super convenient for motorway, easy parking ( chargeable ), hotel clean and tidy. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable bed, good shower in fact except for a fridge it had everything we needed…….even an iron and ironing board. We asked for a fan and one arrived in less than 5 minutes. We didn’t eat at the hotel, for no particular reason we walked next door to the Toby Carvery. We have several more appointments in London coming up and will definitely be staying here.

The hotel was tired and in need of repair, missing ceiling tiles, there was blood on the duvet and generally not inviting or particularly plesant. Especially for the price paid , disappointing for a hilton. Breakfast was however lovely

Hotel interior nice. The room we had needed a good clean and the bathroom needed some attention, the lights in the bathroom had so much dust on them it wasn't nice. The back of the bedroom light was that dusty it obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time. It's not the quality I expected from a Hilton hotel. The other issue was they turned off the cold water mid morning without any warning resulting in the shower which was being used going to maximum hot. After the water being turned off we then received a letter quietly pushed under the door, informing us about the problem, far to late. After speaking to Charlie on reception about our concerns we are still awaiting a confirmation of reduction of charges and the offer of Hilton Honour points.

On arrival the litter bin by main entrance was overflowing also litter strewn around the front steps. Not a great welcome. Litter still there the next morning. Also a high number of room service trays uncollected in the corridors. I expected higher standards from the Hilton group.

Overall acceptable, rooms nice and beds comfortable, pillows a little too squishy. Bathroom dilapidated with shower gel bottle detached from the wall and quite a few spots of black mould in the grouting. Breakfast was good, excellent choice of continental and cooked items and for once a decent hotel coffee. Men’s toilets near breakfast area needs work and toilet rolls just placed on the floor. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay again.

The hotel was ok, the reception and restaurant areas were clean and well kept, the bedroom and corridors could do with a good clean and updating. No heating in the room apart from an electric portable radiator which was more suited for domestic use. The room we had was supposed to be deluxe, I would have hated to see a non deluxe room. Pillows were poor and the sofa bed for a family of 4 wasn’t even made up, duvets were thin and poor quality not very warm considering poor heating. Breakfast was as good and parking free. Hotel not good value for money if I am honest. Was expecting better for the money.

Rooms however, could do with the same refurbishment as the front of house, dated in style and wallpaper peeling from the wall, but very clean and comfortable beds. Ideal location for Harry Potter Studio Tours, central London 45 minute drive.

Hotel is in a good location. Room was very tired and in need of redecoration, door in the bathroom was rotten at the bottom. Comfy bed but it was so hot throughout the hotel and no air conditioning in the room, no fan either, so had a restless night. Breakfast was ok but ordered poached egg on toast which took forever and they just bro2 poached eggs on a plate and told me I had to make my own toast by which time eggs were cold… Overall hotel is in need of updating, staff were very good.

Stayed for 4 days and the air conditioning was only available in half the hotel. Front desk staff while polite was often unhelpful. We ordered separate laundry service and they only gave 1 of the bags to the driver.

It’s a Hilton, comfortable bed, helpful staff , nice breakfast. For some reason I always find this hotel quite noisy from people in the corridor, public areas. Good access by car .

Does the job, but not sure how longer it should remain a Hilton brand. More of a 3 star hotel given its age and lack of investment in room decor and dated old bathrooms from the 70’s/80’s. Bathrooms always feel dirty given the old dirty grout and stains, along with the old bedroom furniture and stained carpets/walls. Now have the audacity to charge £10 nightly parking despite still advertising it as free on hotels.com as free for HHonours members

Lovely spacious room with a 12pm checkout time allowing me plenty of time in the morning to work from the room. Breakfast was excellent and they provided ample time - around 3 hours. Staff were excellent and extremely friendly.

First time I have stayed here and it was great, huge carpark, speedy check and really friendly staff. Nice sized room with a comfortable bed and decent sized TV.

- smokers gathering immediately outside entrance very unpleasant - internal fire doors locked open all night which as well as an obvious safety exception, led to a lot of noise leakage at 3.30 to 430 in the morning from a gathering/ party in the reception area which woke me up ie was quite loud in the room. - reception did not answer when I called them to try to address this.

I cannot believe this is a Hilton hotel. The tvs didn’t work apparently a hotel wide issue staff were among the rudest people I have ever encountered in my life we was asked to leave after complaining about the tv and staff which we did What made this stay so awful we’re the staff the women on reception The male staff were fine and pleasant but the manager was the most horrible lady I have ever met rude has no business in hospitality

We had booked interconnecting family room to be told there was none the attitude of the receptionist was oh well it is what it is when you got 3 tired children it isn’t oh well we was offered 2 separate rooms to which we was told would be next door to each other this wasn’t the case one was round the corner it ruined our whole experience at this hotel the receptionist this morning was more then helpful and could say sorry enough

We stayed at the hotel as we were visiting the Warner brothers studios so it was perfect, but not much else around the hotel if you’re not going there. Staff all very good, especially Jamie in breakfast who was great with our two kids

Good hotel with restaurant, bar, and good breakfast. Only one place to eat around the hotel. Very dangerous to cross the street or go to the bus stop. Only really accessible by car or taxi.

Front of house and reception area really clean and fresh. Staff really friendly and professional. Rooms however, could do with the same refurbishment as the front of house, dated in style and wallpaper peeling from the wall, but very clean and comfortable beds. Ideal location for Harry Potter Studio Tours, central London 45 minute drive.

Great breakfast, lady who runs it is a star! Cindy bed but tired and dates decor especially the bathroom which also smelt fusty. Restaurant was ok but expensive and food average at best.

It was quite disappointing given the status of being a Hilton hotel reason being 1) We being vegan and at breakfast the eggs were next to the plant based sausages and pieces of eggs were found on the vegan sausages 2) The sourdough bread was finished by 8:45 am arrival for breakfast and waa none left for replacement 3) The rooms allocated were right next to the doors for the interleading passages and made banging noses throughout the night when guests went through them.

I found the Parking Charge of £10 per night to be a big put-off. Also, we found the hot breakfast ingredients such as Veg Sausage, Hashbrowns, and baked beans to be somewhat bland and stale. The staff, room cleanliness and cold breakfast was good

Lovely spacious room with a 12pm checkout time allowing me plenty of time in the morning to work from the room. Breakfast was excellent and they provided ample time - around 3 hours. Staff were excellent and extremely friendly.

Hotel is in need of updating. Quite old fashioned in most areas & room. Room was tired & chair had horrible stains on seat. No air conditioning. Breakfast was poor, very over-priced for quality of food. No cutlery on tables, no mugs replenished for tea & coffee so had to use paper cups. Positive, staff were nice.

Ideal location for travelling in to Wembley. 10 mins from Watford junction by car. Ample parking space, food options on site but also good value for money carvery less than 5 mins away. Check in/out hassle free , staff warm and friendly. Room clean and well looked after. Paid in advance for breakfast which was well worth it. Plenty of options th choose from. All in all a comfortable and pretty seamless experience. Only downside was my team lost at Wembley.

Room for 3 adults (sisters). Main bed very comfortable, but sofa bed not so much. Facilities in room lovely. Excellent breakfast with good range of hours, but totally let down by lack of cups - only had paper cups for coffee / tea - really not impressed. Fantastic gym with 24 hour access and great machines & good variety. Would recommend

Restaurant staff were surly at best. Hotel is very tired with old furniture which has grubbiness to the edges and on the door handles. Not a Hilton by modern standards. Stay at the Premier Inn which is far cleaner and better value. There wasn't even a coffee machine at breakfast. Only sachets of Nescafe available despite multiple repeated requests for filter coffee.

Overall acceptable, rooms nice and beds comfortable, pillows a little too squishy. Bathroom dilapidated with shower gel bottle detached from the wall and quite a few spots of black mould in the grouting. Breakfast was good, excellent choice of continental and cooked items and for once a decent hotel coffee. Men’s toilets near breakfast area needs work and toilet rolls just placed on the floor. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay again.

Absolute disaster. I was checked in while the hotel knew there was no running water. Somehow my other colleagues who checked in were informed, but not me. Not sure in what world you check in clients knowing they won't be able to flush their toilet ? Technical team arrived at 10.30PM but left at midnight without having solved the issue, leisurely coming back at 6AM. At 8.30, still no running water, no washing hands, no toilet flush. Brushing my teeth with a water bottle like I'm hiking in remote mountains, nevermind I spent 245€ per night. I cancelled my second night obviously and despite the reception saying "we should solve the problem today", thanks. It has now been a week and I am still chasing for the refund of my second night, which I didn't use, let alone the absurdity of having spent 245€ for the first night and not having running water and everyone finding it quite okay, at least okay enough not to worry and still check in people without letting them know. Apart from this "incident", this is probably the most run down hotel of the entire Hilton portfolio, the carpet is so old and dirty, there's no AC but 2 small fans, and again, frankly absurd to check in people into rooms where toilets won't flush. And not reimburse the nights they didn't use, for an entire week. Oh and upon check out, my colleagues got proposed 10.000 hilton honors points as an apology. I was not. Won't ever go back.
