Check in was very efficient. Room spacious and clean. En suite shower / toilet clean too. Bed was very comfortable. Wifi worked well, without any problems. Although the car park was busy, there were plenty of parking spaces. Hotel was conveniently close to a regular bus route to Norwich city centre. All staff at reception were helpful and professional, especially one clean shaven man, who printed a document for me. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and a positive impression of Norwich.

Yes the room was clean. The staff freindly. BREAKFAST very good. The bar was good Apart from no diet coke served or any diet drinks. Told they had mushroom soup. When the soup it was chicken soup. I hate chicken.

Booked because had restaurant and bar. Restaurant menu and hours were difficult to ascertain. Had to ask at desk. Not clear that takeaway cannot be eaten at restaurant tables. Staff was helpful in providing utensils for takeaway and directing us to outdoor tables. Staff was always friendly and answered all questions.

The staff were unfailingly friendly and welcoming, going the extra mile to serve our needs. Breakfast was fine too. The room was very clean, no complaints, and very quiet at night. Our only disappointment was in the evening meal, but given the limited facilities at the hotel, it was understandable. That was the only downside of our very peasant stay. Much recommended.

When we arrived our rooms werent ready even though we were given the keys to our rooms. On a personal note I was celebrating my birthday and came back from a gathering of my ex RAF friends to find there was no Scottish whisky available. As I had travelled down from Scotland for this event it did dampen the celebrations somewhat.

Room nice size & clean. But from about 6am, we could hear bassy music presuming from the gym next door. Outside of property was a mess, the bin was over flowing & cigerette buts all over. Not a welcoming sight. The disabled spot was taken by someone without/not displaying blue badge

I've stayed here several times now with my family. Consistently clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is good, providing all the usual options. Staff at reception very helpful. We arrived very late, so 24 hour check-in was welcome.

This was our third visit to Norwich and we stayed in Holiday Inn Express again. Great location for us. Service is good as usual. Breakfast had limited choice compared to other Holiday Inns (veggie sausages not great!) Our room was on the side near to David Lloyd’s which didn’t bother us until they played very loud music at 9am disturbing our sleep! If staying again I will request a room on the other side.

Very clean, all the basics covered. Breakfast was ok but the area where is ess presented was very small and just not enough for the guests; we were all kind of falling over one another. The staff were friendly. The main issue was there bed. I am a side sleeper but don't like a soft mattress but this one was little more than a board with a sheet over it, making it really hard to sleep and leaving me feeling bruised in the morning. No idea how procurement department could arrive at purchasing this.

Staff were lovely. Room and en-suite were clean, good towels, queen bed. Breakfast was fine. This is a budget hotel and was of a good standard. But sadly not great to be woken by a loud voice and booming music at 6am from the spinning class at the private sports club gym club adjoining the building.

The link between hotels and holiday inn needs improving - i booked a twin for two people, they only got info saying it was for one person, the first two rooms they gave me were double beds. Once that confusion was cleared up it was all fine.

What we like was how you gave us a baby cot. We also kept getting ice cubes from the kitchen to cool our baby food .. the service was excellent. Thank you to Daniel the manager who organised everything for us.

Excellent stay, friendly staff, good breakfast choices, very clean bathroom and room. Big comfy bed and choice of pillows. Could do with a safe in the room. Good location with easy access to local buses to city centre & further afield. Asada on the doorstep for forgotten essentials & snacks.

We needed somewhere to put our heads for the night and this location was perfect for us. Breakfast was decent enough and Asda right over the road to grab lunch and snacks for the day. Also a Maccas in the Asda if needed.

Hotel standard in UK varies - this hotel is absolutely at a higher standard than most UK hotels. Spacious room, nice and comfotable beds, easy to acces by bus or taxi from airport or citycenter, quiet surroundings, a supermarket next to, kind and helpful staff. Breakfast OK - could have been improved by at slice og cheese (but we got it from the supermarket). Prices are OK. Nice hotel - we will come back!

Staff were lovely. Room and en-suite were clean, good towels, queen bed. Breakfast was fine. This is a budget hotel and was of a good standard. But sadly not great to be woken by a loud voice and booming music at 6am from the spinning class at the private sports club gym club adjoining the building.

Enjoyed our stay. Modern accommodations. Helpful staff. Breakfast time frame was great but would have liked more fruit options. Evening ala carte options pricey but tasted good. ASDA grocery store walking distance and convenient. Quick taxi ride to the University of East Anglia for only £10.

Internet slow and unreliable, especially the 'house' network. Not enough shelving in bathroom, no hooks in bathroom, no drawers in bedroom, bedside tables too small, toilet blocked on last day. Heating unresponsive to changes made on the controls. Single quilts very narrow for the beds, no overhang. No prepared fresh fruit, no fruit knives for unprepared fruit. Buffet area badly designed, too small, congested. Many tables seated 4, but often with only 1 or 2 people seated at each, leading to a shortage of tables when busy. Absence of written information in the room, eg, the option for 'no room service', food menu for evening meals. Room was clean. Saw very few staff, but all were polite. Workmen on the roof directly outside the room window before our check out time. Am concerned that no one will respond or deal with these comments.

Yes the room was clean. The staff freindly. BREAKFAST very good. The bar was good Apart from no diet coke served or any diet drinks. Told they had mushroom soup. When the soup it was chicken soup. I hate chicken.

Booked because had restaurant and bar. Restaurant menu and hours were difficult to ascertain. Had to ask at desk. Not clear that takeaway cannot be eaten at restaurant tables. Staff was helpful in providing utensils for takeaway and directing us to outdoor tables. Staff was always friendly and answered all questions.

Breakfast selection was not as good quality and choice as in other Holiday Express in we stayed in . Many of the breakfast items advertised on their menu were not available this was disappointing.

Honestly brilliant for a “budget” hotel, we slept great, beds were comfy, shower was great, the room was spotless, only thing I wished we had was a fridge and that the windows could open because the air con was lovely but we’ve both left with really stuffy heads, it was too hot without it on but really drying with it on. Staff were amazing though, so friendly, would 100% stay again.

We stayed here as a family of 4 while visiting the north Norfolk coast for the weekend. We found the accommodation very good and perfect for our needs. Room was very clean and cleverly laid out. Air conditioning was a bonus as it was very warm during our stay. Breakfast was very good too. And parking wasn't badly priced at £5 per night. Would definitely stay again. We only stayed one night, but all the staff we encountered were very pleasant.
