Have previously stayed at property but it is clear there has been a lack of ongoing maintenance and upkeep. Bathrooms are not cleaned sufficiently and I caught a bug from previous occupant, although had asked for cleaning on check in. Found mouse/rat dropping on bedding on last night. While seating in breakfast/restaurant area has a lovely outlook and is open, bird droppings are not cleaned from seats which is unhygenic. Breakfast and food selection is dated and does not reflect the excellent standard of food to be found in the ubud region. Hotel pool was not clear and had algae and there are no sun shades and no ability to fully utilize pool during day unless you want to bake in the full sun. Hotel has many staff and seems to have 6 people standing in foyer at any time doing nothing, staff cluster behind pool area and could be better used to clean. Sadly will not return.

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti in questo paradisiaco hotel…dalle foto non rende quanto verde ci sia tutto intorno! La nostra stanza era situata appena sopra il fiume e si sentiva il rumore dell’acqua, troppo rilassante! La struttura è immersa nella natura ma nelle stanze non ci sono zanzare o altri insetti. Il personale è davvero super cordiale, sempre attento alle esigenze del cliente e con il sorriso sulle labbra. La spa è piccolina e sembra scavata all’interno di una grotta, molto bella! La colazione è nella media. Dista circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla strada principale di Ubud, non abbiamo mai preso il taxi perché la passeggiata è piacevole. Le due piscine sono molto pulite. Ci siamo trovati benissimo :)

Beautiful property and gardens and amazing spa! The lodges are starting to show signs of wear and tear but it looked like they were starting to refurbish some of them. Great service and buffet breakfast was lovely.

Honestly, it was our worst and most shoking experience in all my times in Bali. Hotel looks beautful but needs a massive shake up and new management. There are 2 pools but only one is in the sunny area with warm water, even though it is in a poor condition and missing tiles under water. Pool is very small with only 5-6 sun beds while there are at least 5 times more guests are staying in the hotel so basically only 5 -6 people a day can stay around the pool. Person serving drinks in the pool bar does not speak any foreign language and has no idea what sort of alcohol he is putting into cocktails. First, we got Pina kolada purely non alcoholic while paid for the one with Bacardi. When we asked if there any Bacardi in the cocktail man quite rudely kept doing what he was doing ignoring us. When we insisted to tell us what was added to our cocktails man went into basically into a hole in the ground that served him as a kitchen and brought 2 bottles showing us that maybe added alcohol from any of these. Non of that was Bacardi and we had no idea what sort of alcohol was in that bottles! Nobody saw a problem in this and was unable to tell us what actually we drank and how somebody with no idea what he is doing and serving to customers can work in the pool bar and sell alcohol. We asked to speak to a manager and were told there is no manager!! Came to reception and all staff was laughing at us as we are crazy white ladies seeing no issues with anything. Lots more to say just no space

We really enjoyed our stay at Tjampuhan hotel. The location is so lush and green and the gardens are lovely. Our room was comfortable and clean and it’s nice to sit out on the balcony. The pool is refreshing, particularly the spring pool. The staff were kind and helpful.

A wonderful view with jungle noise. Flower accents everywhere. Smiling staff and every detail in service was perfect. The breakfast brunch was lovely with many options and good hot coffee. The lunches were amazing . I was approached by the room manager and he said that my room was going to be renovated very soon. The pools were a nice temperature and the spa area was worth a look...even if you were not bookibg it. Heavy bags were carried up and down the many stairs for me. I would not recommend for those with mobility issues or easily exhausted by heat. It is built into a hillside. The gardens are amazing. Will return again. Thank you!

This place is still a page of Ubud history and steps from so many places you will want to visit. but they have really let the place get into disrepair. they are renovating, but the first pink room tile we were in was horrible. the 2nd room what nicer, but lacked places to store clothes/bags and had ants everywhere. it never really cooled down compared to other rooms either. i hope they can turn it around

The bathroom is definitely a turn off for this property, the whole hotel is very classic and authentic, love the architect here. But the toilet feels like we are in a motel, and the room smells unclean , specially the sheets. They need to be dried properly.

スタッフは、良かったです。部屋も古いけれど、特に問題はなかった。ただ、クローゼットの埃が気になりました。ウブドの中心へも徒歩で15分くらい。一日目にタオルがなかったり、２日目にシャンプーとコンディショナーを忘れられてたり。 金額的にも可もなく不可もない感じです。

We stayed one week in Tjampuhan spa and it was nice experience. The location is very good, the hotel is within walking distance from the Main Street,restaurants and monkey forest. The staff is very kind and helpful. The spa and outside facilities are perfect. Our room was very big with amazing view. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was ok but a bit old. Needs renovation. The only thing I didn’t like was the standard of cleaning. It’s definitely needs to be improved. Overall nice place to stay.

Globalement un hotel correct, mais peu ou pas de service au niveau du front desk, pas de sentiment d'accueil ou de bienvenu, malgré un verre offert. 1er diner offert sans aucun intéret. Chambres assez spacieuses mais sans charme, mobilier désuet. Propreté des salles de massage, voire lits de massage en question.

This is a truly super hotel. My only complaint is with the restaurant. Two out of four nights eating there were a disappointment, with the food. Breakfast was excellent. Staff all generally very nice. Only had a problem with one worker coming onto our patio in the early morning and looking into our room. Talked to reception about it and they seemed to fix it. Staff all generally very nice. Only had a problem with one worker coming onto our patio in the early morning and looking into our room. Talked to reception about it and they seemed to fix it. We stayed one week in Tjampuhan spa and it was nice experience. The location is very good, the hotel is within walking distance from the Main Street,restaurants and monkey forest. The staff is very kind and helpful. The spa and outside facilities are perfect. Our room was very big with amazing view. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was ok but a bit old. Needs renovation. The only thing I didn’t like was the standard of cleaning. It’s definitely needs to be improved. Overall nice place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Tjampuan. It is a charming, traditional Balinese style hotel with beautiful, lush gardens. Our room was spacious and comfortable (if a little tired) and the was a large balcony looking out on to thatched roofs and the rain forest beyond. To be fair, the bathroom was in need of renovation. The staff are welcoming, efficient and friendly.

Beautiful property and gardens and amazing spa! The lodges are starting to show signs of wear and tear but it looked like they were starting to refurbish some of them. Great service and buffet breakfast was lovely.

Meget smuk beliggenhed, men noget slidt. Vi synes, det var fint til pengene til 4 dage. Poolen manglede klinker, værelserne var lidt slidte. Det ligger lige uden for byen med gåafstand til det hele. Dejligt stille resort.

We really enjoyed this spa resort. The bed Was hard and thesheetswerea little rough. The staff was very accommodating. Our room included the use of their day spa, which was a great place to relax and rejuvenate.. The property is on the edge of a river with breathtaking jungle views. I would stay here again. We did the cooking class with the chef and really enjoyed that also reasonably priced. We enjoyed the Indonesian food afterwar. As this resort is on a hillside there are lots of steps with no lift. Not a good place for people who can't do a lot of steps. But it is a beautiful resort.

The hotel facilities and everything about it was more than satisfactory.There appeared however to be a tipping culture expectation when the overall costs incurred a customer service fee.Making it much more costly. Hand towels in the bathroom would be a nice addition.Staff were amazing.

RUN away if you are bringing a group! Most of the staff are really beautiful but the manager was awful. He actually lied directly to us regarding our group arrangements - and put some of our group members in lesser quality rooms without our permission and having already paid for the higher class of room. Our group contact was very nice - but didn't get anything right regarding our rooms set up or spa appointments. They also lied to us about a special spa room we reserved. We got there and the wedding couple was told it was not available because it was "broken" but when we went there - it turns out they had just put someone else in that room. We also had our group luggage delivered before we arrived. They told us that it never came (which caused a panic) then they said it had just arrived. It was actually there for four hours so they did not tell us the truth and set up a panicked chain of events. This may be fine for a couple stay - but if you are a meeting planner or the coordinator for a family group - do not trust anything they say.

Honestly, it was our worst and most shoking experience in all my times in Bali. Hotel looks beautful but needs a massive shake up and new management. There are 2 pools but only one is in the sunny area with warm water, even though it is in a poor condition and missing tiles under water. Pool is very small with only 5-6 sun beds while there are at least 5 times more guests are staying in the hotel so basically only 5 -6 people a day can stay around the pool. Person serving drinks in the pool bar does not speak any foreign language and has no idea what sort of alcohol he is putting into cocktails. First, we got Pina kolada purely non alcoholic while paid for the one with Bacardi. When we asked if there any Bacardi in the cocktail man quite rudely kept doing what he was doing ignoring us. When we insisted to tell us what was added to our cocktails man went into basically into a hole in the ground that served him as a kitchen and brought 2 bottles showing us that maybe added alcohol from any of these. Non of that was Bacardi and we had no idea what sort of alcohol was in that bottles! Nobody saw a problem in this and was unable to tell us what actually we drank and how somebody with no idea what he is doing and serving to customers can work in the pool bar and sell alcohol. We asked to speak to a manager and were told there is no manager!! Came to reception and all staff was laughing at us as we are crazy white ladies seeing no issues with anything. Lots more to say just no space

A wonderful view with jungle noise. Flower accents everywhere. Smiling staff and every detail in service was perfect. The breakfast brunch was lovely with many options and good hot coffee. The lunches were amazing . I was approached by the room manager and he said that my room was going to be renovated very soon. The pools were a nice temperature and the spa area was worth a look...even if you were not bookibg it. Heavy bags were carried up and down the many stairs for me. I would not recommend for those with mobility issues or easily exhausted by heat. It is built into a hillside. The gardens are amazing. Will return again. Thank you!

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti in questo paradisiaco hotel…dalle foto non rende quanto verde ci sia tutto intorno! La nostra stanza era situata appena sopra il fiume e si sentiva il rumore dell’acqua, troppo rilassante! La struttura è immersa nella natura ma nelle stanze non ci sono zanzare o altri insetti. Il personale è davvero super cordiale, sempre attento alle esigenze del cliente e con il sorriso sulle labbra. La spa è piccolina e sembra scavata all’interno di una grotta, molto bella! La colazione è nella media. Dista circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla strada principale di Ubud, non abbiamo mai preso il taxi perché la passeggiata è piacevole. Le due piscine sono molto pulite. Ci siamo trovati benissimo :)

The hotel is fantastic. Very beautiful property and amazing staff. The location is also within convenient walking distance to central Ubud and the Monkey Forest. Campuhan walking trail and Kajeng rice fields are also within walking distance. I would highly recommend this place for a stay in Ubud.

This was the most magical and relaxing place I’ve ever been to. Ubud is pretty hectic however the jungle and gardens, paths and pools were just a delight to immerse myself into. Highly recommend if you need to recharge and be in nature. Staff are beautiful and breakfast was great.

Vi er veldig fornøyde med oppholdet vårt. Hotellet har hyggelig betjening, vakker arkitektur og en utrolig rolig og behagelig atmosfære. Utsikten mot jungelen fra terrassen var nydelig, og vi koste oss der både morgen, ettermiddag og kveld. Hotellet ligger litt utenfor hovedsentrum, men det var egentlig bare deilig dersom man ønsker ro og mindre støy. Trappene på området ga oss en liten treningsøkt hver dag, men det tok vi med et smil. Alt i alt hadde vi et flott opphold og har lite til ingenting å klage på. Anbefales!

Hotellet ligger litt utenfor hovedsentrum, men det var egentlig bare deilig dersom man ønsker ro og mindre støy. Trappene på området ga oss en liten treningsøkt hver dag, men det tok vi med et smil. Alt i alt hadde vi et flott opphold og har lite til ingenting å klage på. Anbefales!

Honestly absolutely perfect hotel. Everyone is so nice and the resort itself encompasses the heart of Ubud. We couldn’t have asked for a more memorable magical experience. Just let them take care of everything for you. From airport pickup, excursions and everything in between. You will feel like family by the time you leave. I can’t wait to come back.

A wonderful view with jungle noise. Flower accents everywhere. Smiling staff and every detail in service was perfect. The breakfast brunch was lovely with many options and good hot coffee. The lunches were amazing . I was approached by the room manager and he said that my room was going to be renovated very soon. The pools were a nice temperature and the spa area was worth a look...even if you were not bookibg it. Heavy bags were carried up and down the many stairs for me. I would not recommend for those with mobility issues or easily exhausted by heat. It is built into a hillside. The gardens are amazing. Will return again. Thank you!
