A very nicely renovated barn conversion in a small hamlet with a great bakery. Good with en-suite bathrooms though one should be aware that there is no door in in one, only a curtain (not totally comfortable to use the toilet). Party compensated by a separate toilet on the hallway. One should also be aware that access to the swimming pool is through a separate gate from the small street, i.e. not directly from the apartment. There is no barbecue. All in all, we had a lovely time.

Adam’s rental was an incredible place to hang our hats for a week in the beautiful Lot. It was well appointed, spacious, comfortable and even better than the listing shows. The views from the grand deck are simply stunning. Adam was a gracious, informative host and provided everything for such a lovely stay. Merci Adam!

We had a fantastic week in Adam’s converted barn in Montcabrier. The property has been adapted to a very high spec, is spacious and well appointed. The terrace affords great views over the surrounding countryside and of the pool in the garden below. Montcabrier itself is a lovely bastide village with a church, medieval fortifications and, crucially, a boulangerie! We spent our week sightseeing (Chateau de Bonaguil a highlight), hiking (there are several great walks clearly marked starting from the village square), visiting vineyards (Ch. du Cedre is quality) and browsing markets (Prayssac on a Friday was the best). We mostly cooked for ourselves with the produce garnered from the local markets, but did treat ourselves to what proved to be a fantastic meal at Le Loup Blanc in St. Martin Le Redon (only 5 minutes away by car). All in all a lovely relaxing week in beautiful surroundings.
