The hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff were very helpfull and friendly. We liked decor and atmosphere. The bar and resturant was very comfortable. The pool area was pleasant, the pool could do with heating. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice and hot. Dinning room. The hotel is well positioned for town,transport and sea front.

Excellent choice for breakfast, rooms clean and tidy, excellent dining experience in restaurant too, very helpful reception staff and hotel also has parking, outdoor pool and a gym, 10 mins walk to most areas of st helier.

Great location in St Helier, easy walk to town and seafront. Lovely pool area (though the pool itself was 'refreshing'!) and polite staff. We had a family room, which consisted of two rooms so our daughter had her 'own' room (but could only be accessed through the main room, so safe for little ones too). Lovely and quiet in the rooms, even on Jazz night!

The hotel was first class, breakfast excellent quality and plentiful. Spacious room with every facility. Situated in the heart of St Helier it provided easy walking access to the vibrant shopping areas and plentiful restaurants. Hotel parking an extra charge.

From the moment we arrived to when we left everything was excellent, the Suite we had featured a lovely Jacuzzi bath and large dressing area. Staff helpful, especially the waiters, Wide choice of Breakfast items - something for everyone. Dinner and Wine Menus were varied and all very good at sensible prices. 10 mins walk into the centre. We enjoyed Dinner on Jazz night (fri) and the duet the following evening in the Bar. All warmly recommended- thank you

On entering the Savoy we noticed how lovely and clean it was straight away. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Maid service every day. Coffee and tea making facilities in the rooms with biscuits left every day. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to beautiful Jersey.

My room was beautifully cleaned, the rest of the hotel was clean, tidy & no rubbish anywhere. The ladiws made aure the main entrance soors were fingerprint free, it certai ly made a food dirst impression

I would recommend spending a little more and going elsewhere, it will definitely be worth it! The entrance hall was nice, light, clean and airy, despite several broken floor tiles. But everything went downhill from there. The walk to our room was met with a wall of cigarette smoke where we found some employees smoking at the bottom of a set of stairs and the smell permeated the surrounding corridors. The flooring also got worse, with old, damaged and dirty carpets. The room was dark and dingy even with all the lights on, there were yellow stains on the towels, mould in several places in the bathroom and seriously damaged/wonky furniture. One nice thing about the room though was the wallpaper, it had a nice pattern and was glittery. Breakfast the next day was like a cattle market and we were seen to a table with cutlery laid out that looked like it had already been used as the knife and fork were covered in bean juice. All in all we could not wait to get out of there.

We complained for days about cockroaches in our room I took them to reception, only to be told we will look in to it. Sheets changed every 3 days , did not happen, faeces just outside left there all weekend right next to carpehotek breakfast ingredients the worse I’ve ever tasted from a hotel so cheap

The reception area is modern and spacious. The bedrooms are also spacious and kept immaculately clean. The dining area and bar are very modern and the dinners we had were delicious and well priced. Breakfast was substantial and the food was excellent. All of the staff we met were professional, friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend The Savoy without hesitation.

Room could do with an update , bit old and grubby First room had yellow stains on sheet and pillow. Not keen on getting in the bath for a shower. Shower was either scalding or freezing .. Didn’t let it spoil our stay

Enjoyed the breakfast very much, great choice. Bedding clean and crisp. Extras were a clothes iron and board, air fan, hairdryer. The ground floor reception areas are impressive but upstair carpets rather dirty and worn in places, dated bedroom furnishings. No natural light in room 39 on first floor as window surrounded outside by three walls and pipework. Unfortunately there were live silverfish insects found in the shower room and on second day small cockroaches also (german variety). A pleasant female receptionist immediately moved us to an upgraded pool view room for the third and final day of our stay. The only other staff we spoke with was a very unwelcoming, negative and almost rude female receptionist on our arrival 6pm 12th Sept 2025, not good!

Lovely hotel within walking distance of the town centre and, importantly for us, the bus station. Our room was very comfy and a great place to relax after busy days out and about around the island. Also enjoyed spending time in the lounge. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast, included, was great. Our only very tiny gripe would be that the WiFi signal was patchy in our room but we had no problems using it in the lounge or restaurant

Overall was stay was good. The room was fine, could do with updating but was comfortable. Easy walking distance into the town centre where there’s lots to do. Walls were somewhat thin, I could hear clearly occupant in the room next to me. The WiFi in the room wasn’t great at all, dropping in and out of low performance anyway. Based on my experience, it certainly was comfortable and provided all the necessities. However, when I return for work again I’ll likely try another hotel despite it being close to where I needed to be.

Great hotel and lovely to have the swimming pool and a small gym too. Unfortunately, our room (room 56) did not have any hot water when we stayed. Apparently other guests in room 50 also did not have hot water. Also, the breakfast area did not open until 7:30am - 7 am would be a better time to open up (especially for guests with children).

Worst hotel experience, poor approach to customer service and seemingly weak approach to room safety and standards. On arrival noticed internal door handle loose (so someone could feasibly get locked inside) and also damage to main light switch. There was also a stale smell in the room. Pretty nonchalant reaction by front desk but at least they managed to resolve the door handle. Worse still, that night we found the walls and even the ceiling to be paper thin. People simply walking in the room above could be amply heard with the floors creaking like an old house, certainly not the standard of a hotel let alone one of this supposed rating class. The manager clearly wasn't bothered as we mentioned the issues a number of times and were told the manager had been informed, but not once did we hear from them or even get an apology. Compared to other hotels, the breakfast left much to be desired. I'd give it zero stars a definate holiday dampener.

Decent hotel in need of some updating (but I understand the owner is considering selling, so understandably reluctant to refurbish), great breakfast, not the easiest of locations for central St Helier, and was really disappointed by the lack of WiFi access from my room (I complained to reception but despite an offer to 'reboot' the server, nothing changed)

Walking distance to so many places in St. helier. It has very nice decor and the room was good. Hallways need a little work and are a bit dated and the staff wasn’t always the most helpful but tried their best.

Our room at the front of the hotel was unbelievably hot, we had to have windows open and curtains shut. The traffic noise from the road outside made it impossible to sleep and the fan made no difference. There is also a fire station across the road. We asked to switch rooms but there was no availability at the time, also not able to provide another fan. Even when the weather cooled down a little the room was still uncomfortably hot. It was such a shame as the rest of the hotel was so lovely as were the staff.

Overall, very satisfied with our 1 week stay at the Savoy Hotel, Jersey. The hotel is located a relatively 15min, short, flat walk from St Helier shopping area. Alternatively there are bus stops close by which connect to the central bus station in St Helier. The hotel car park is located at the front of the hotel and always had free spaces during our stay. The hotel is clean, very well maintained and staffed. The staff were always polite and helpful during our stay. Our room was quiet, located at the back of the hotel overlooking the pool. The room furnishings were OK, but replacing the large outdated dark wooden furniture would improve the space and feel of the room. The room was cleaned and fresh towels provided daily. There is no air conditioning in the hotel. Free Wi-Fi was available. The inclusive buffet breakfast was excellent quality with a typical range of hot and cold options. The restaurant and bar area were smart and the food we had in there was very good. The bar hosts a live Jazz band on Friday evenings. Overall, very satisfied with our 1 week stay at the Savoy Hotel, Jersey. The hotel is located a relatively 15min, short, flat walk from St Helier shopping area. Alternatively there are bus stops close by which connect to the central bus station in St Helier. The hotel car park is located at the front of the hotel and always had free spaces during our stay. The hotel is clean, very well maintained and staffed. The staff were always polite and helpful during our stay. Our room was quiet, located at the back of the hotel overlooking the pool. The room furnishings were OK, but replacing the large outdated dark wooden furniture would improve the space and feel of the room. The room was cleaned and fresh towels provided daily. There is no air conditioning in the hotel. Free Wi-Fi was available. The inclusive buffet breakfast was excellent quality with a typical range of hot and cold options. The restaurant and bar area were smart and the food we had in there was very good. The bar hosts a live Jazz band on Friday evenings. Breakfast less than adequate - tinned pears and peaches everyday . Hot food barely warm. Dinner hit and miss. If restaurant busy food can wait a long time to be served- seemed chaotic! Hotel seems to be more front than substance. Cannot recommend.

The staff were tremendous breakfast was a real pleasure nothing was a problem for them and I’m a really fussy person they were all so friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble. The reception staff were always so helpful at any time. We will be definitely return. Savoy thank you so much for making our visit to Jersey so wonderful.

The hotel is lovely , clean well presented and handy for walking into town. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The restaurant did not have a very appealing menu for a gluten free choice and hence we ate elsewhere. My only downside was that some of the staff were not very friendly which is a shame because everything else was very good.

Stayed there on 3 occasions now, always been pleased with our stays. Very friendly and helpful. I had a slight problem but when mentioned to management it was sorted immediately. Lovely bar and relaxing areas.

The reception staff were exceptional. Teta and Lauraine stood out as they both went beyond and about to ensure we had the best from our stay. They are a true credit to the hotel. Bogdan was a super chap and was our waiter in the evening. Again a truly valuable member of the hotel staff. The only negative thing was the attitude of the maitre d' at night. Otherwise could not be faulted. A fabulous place to stay. Thank you.

Great location - 10 min walk from central St Helier however just far away enough from the town centre to avoid all the noise. The staff were excellent, couldn't fault the breakfast, relaxing pool area which is illuminated at night, very comfortable bar with live music and a large free car park. The only criticism is that the rooms could do with updating. Saying that, however, the rooms were well equipped and everything worked.

Our first trip to Jersey made us realise we’ve missed out on a British Treasure for far too long. A cosmopolitan city is the ideal way of describing St Hellier in which we felt very safe and comfortable whilst walking around this litter-free town. The Savoy is a 10 minute walk to the centre though a well kept park and into streets with few empty shops but a myriad of good restaurants and stores.

Hotel was clean although rooms a bit dated. Breakfast was excellent, evening meal a la cart menu, bit pricey but worth trying. Staff were friendly although keen to kick you out of the pool area at 10pm so no quiet outside drinks for the smokers! Happy hour 4-6pm, pint at £4 during. 15 minute walk to King Street area.

Great value hotel. Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast. Live mysic in the evening is great. Interconnected family room was great, though rooms and bathroom are getting tired snd need a refresh. Pool isn't heated and was freezing, but still nice to have and great area for relaxing. Good location to town, beach and park.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room and bathroom were very spacious with lots of storage for our belongings. The room also had an iron and fridge which have been missing from other hotels on our travels. The staff were so helpful and our favourite part was happy hour drinks by the gorgeous swimming pool!! Would definitely stay again if returning to Jersey.

The lack of air conditioning in the bedroom was a major problem with daytime temperatures of 26+ and nights not much cooler. Tried opening the windows but as the room was on the front of the hotel and the road outside was busy that wasn't a reasonable option.
