Deacon's Lodge golfbana, Pelican Lake - Breezy Point, Mn.

This property has a beautiful view of a great fishing lake. We enjoyed both. It was large enough for our whole family to stay with a spacious kitchen and living room. The pool table was a huge hit! It is well stocked with everything you need. And they also had it decorated for our Christmas celebration!

Brought the family and wanted to stay close to Breezy Point, have a lake view, offer the space to accommodate adults and kids, and allow for fun for all. The house has everything from dishes, crock pots, utensils, towels, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags..you have everything you need there. The grill worked great and there is an extra frig/freezer which worked great for more food and beverages. The game room was the biggest hit. Played lots of pool and everyone loved the video game. Good location and everything you need.

Disappointing is an understatement. This place is in desperate need of repairs. The pictures are from 6 years ago, nothing current. Most pf our family left early due to the filth and hazardous environment. We had to finish the laundry when we arrived that was left in the washer & dryer so we had enough towels. The place is filthy, the walls....not even sure what to say about the walls. Kitchen fridge froze all the produce. The dishwasher is even anchored down, moves around. Shower curtain in the master is dirty, right next to the toilet. And liner is full of yellow slime. At least 3 outlets are missing covers, no safety covers on any of the outlets for children. The dock in the pictures in a public access down the road. The landscape is full of trip hazards with low branches. The upper back deck has several loose railing boards. This rental looks as if it has not had any upkeep since it was purchased. And the water heater is pumping out hot water at 150 degrees, its neglect beyond imagine. The AC ran and squealed 24/7. We were thankful for the safety gate and the high chair. The view was beautiful and they neighbors were nice, I wonder how they feel about the nearly abandoned property. Never would we stay here again.

We used this property to celebrate my husband’s 30th birthday with some of his close friends and their families. There were six adults and four children. We had such a good time and loved the house! It has a great location, is super clean, and has more than enough space for a group our size. We cooked food in the house every night and there was a great supply of pots, pans, plates, etc. additionally we were super close to coffee shops and restaurants. We will rent again next time we want to spend a weekend in breezy point!

Nice place however A/C was only on one floor and was a small problem at first but cooled down eventually. Well stocked kitchen and beds were just ok. Water was a little off color and everything worked except video game. Outdoor was weathered and needs some sprucing up but overall we enjoyed our stay.

A nice stay, quiet with a log cabin feel. Everything worked the way it should and didn’t have any issues with anything. Lots of parking if need be.

The photos of the property we thought we were renting were taken a long time ago as the home itself both inside and out were in terrible condition. Inside ripped screens and a dishwasher not fastened. Bunk beds missing pieces thus making them unsafe. Dirty refrigerator and the electric fry pan was never washed by a previous guest. Outside so much overgrowth of weeds and brush you could not see out of the lower deck . Fire pit full of ash and rocks and we needed to clean it for an hour before using it. Junk all over side of house kicking up snakes as we walked past. Basement toilet not working properly. Upstairs shower squealing this waking up those still sleeping. Walls had finger prints and patches all over. Tree growing in outside landscaped area. Thistles everywhere trying to get down the steps. Just can’t find any positive words as it was an entire mess. Family together time was the only thing that saved this time away. Very expensive for a very poorly maintained property. We would like the deposit credited Back and half of our stay cost. It was utterly horrible. Rules about AC so We had to text in order to change the setting. Mentioned in text to not leave negative feedback and then how hard it is to get repairs done when there are guests all the time. Just so disappointed in what in what the real situation was. No dock either. Photos show a dock and there isn’t one. Needed to rent slip at Breezy Point. Why show a dock of there isn’t one?

We had a large group stay at this place. It was amazing! The kitchen was stocked very well; the best stocked kitchen I have seen! They had everything. Lots of space for us to be in and plenty of sleeping space. Good parking too. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

This rental suited our needs very well. My siblings and myself needed a comfortable and spacious area to finish going through our parents' photos and papers (they have passed). This was perfect, quiet, and had enough room for us. There were a few glitches, a wall heater didn't work, the smoke/carbon monoxide detectors kept going off the entire time (even when trying to sleep). The carbon monoxide one had even gone off "verbally" to warn us. I did contact the host, who said not to worry.The extra amenities that they offered were WONDERFUL! Each bathroom offered plenty of toilet paper, Kleenex, they had shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Plenty of very nice towels etc. the kitchen was stocked very well also!I didn't see extra kitchen garbage bags though, but I could have missed them.The "arcade game" that they show , had a sign on it that "it works when it wants to" which is correct...The hosts were very responsive.Being winter and why we were there, we did not use any outdoor things.and just so you know , this house is situated with other houses around it, you are not off "on your own".wonderful place though!!! would definatly return!!!

The house was very spacious and it definitely provided the room we needed for our group. The house however was not overly clean. Upon arriving, several of the beds were not neatly made. They looked like they had been already slept in and the covers just pulled over. After thoroughly inspecting, it seemed that the bedding was clean, just poorly made for guest arrival. Most every surface was dusty and there were many cobwebs throughout. It seemed also that there must have been several water leaks in the house at some point. The house has potential but needs some consistent deep cleaning and TLC.

The property is in need of repair both inside and out. The living room furniture is old and soiled. We left the noisy fans on the entire time because roof leaks were being dried out. The location was good, and the house worked well for a family.

We checked in on Friday. Plenty of room for hubby and I with our grown kids and their partners, my parents and the youngest child who is 16. We were able to spread out and come together! Cards and meals, music and laughter. The cabin was clean and comfy. Easy to check in and out. We would definitely stay again and do recommend this for other family gatherings.

Location was nice, given we were one house back from the lake. We had a view of the lake, and being winter the trees added to the lakeside view. You of course do see the home on the lakeshore, but this house is on a hill above it. It was so much nicer then all of us staying at a hotel.

We came to Breezy Point for a family reunion and this house was perfect for all of us. It’s a beautiful area a with a great view of the lake and the resort.

This is our second time at this house. We like it so much that we’re going back again next year. Well appointed; had everything we needed. Only bad thing about this place are all the steps up and downstairs. The ages of my friends are making it a little harder on them. But they’re really needed to accommodate so many bedrooms.

We had a group of six for a guys weekend. The cabin was very spacious and suited us well.

We had a great experience! The family room and kitchen is very spacious which gave our large group the opportunity to all be together. Everyone had their own bed which was super nice and everyone said their beds were comfortable! The morning sunrise over the lake was beautiful

Great place to stay. Comfortably slept 12 guys and was close to Deacons Lodge. Great communication with the owner too. Looking forward to returning.

Beautiful place beautiful property. Stayed in the middle of winter on a -10 degree day and this place couldn’t not have suited us better. Each room is beautiful and the whole house is perfect for groups. Don’t hesitate to book here

Do not let the past reviews scare you!! We stayed up here for my bachelorette weekend. It was the most PERFECT weekend I could have ever asked for. We were skeptical about the sleeping arrangements but everyone had a bed to sleep in (15 of us). Judd always made sure we had everything we needed! It was quiet and so spacious. We had a fantastic weekend and can not wait to come back!!

Judd was amazing, very responsive and respectful of our privacy. A++++++ Would recommend or stay again.

The perfect house for our crew to stay while working in the area. They stayed here before and will likely stay here again in the future. Spacious enough for everyone and a relaxing place to come 'home' to after work each day.

Owners were great communicators, everything in the house was well labeled. Perfect to just hang around and relax with family. Would definitely stay again

Our family of 11 (ages 11-74) truly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was perfect for all of us ~ plenty of space and we joked that everything we wanted to do was only ‘12 minutes away’ 😊 Great location for having fun around Pequot Lakes!

Perfect location, slept 11 very comfortably. Kitchen well stocked. It needs a little TLC but it didn’t affect its usefulness or function. We would definitely stay again when golfing in the area.
