Fantastic stay, beautiful room with lovely sea view. We were dealt with exclusively by one lady throughout our stay who was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent. There is limited parking outside, enough for 5 cars I reckon but we got a space no problem. 10 min walk to Peasholm Park and similar to the old town and south bay in the other direction. Bed very comfortable, shower really good.

Hotel is on the sea-front, and the room had a sea view as advertised. Parking on site for 4 cars, so no panicking about finding a spot. Very friendly welcome from the owner, and the room was very comfortable with a decent double bed. I would highly recommend the Leaway if you need somewhere to stay in the Scarborough area.

Great property with wonderful host. Parking was available on street or in drive way. Great breakfast in the next morning. Had a sea view which, despite being the small room at the top, included the beach as well as a view of the Scarborough castle ruins. Only hitch was the weather, which is clearly no responsibility of the host ;-)

The guest house has good views over North Bay. Room 8 was top floor and expect 9 and 5/6 also have good views. Breakfast is served only until 0915 but the host was very accommodating. Parking on the forecourt is suitable for four cars. Breakfast was hearty. Tea and coffee in the rooms. Windows that open. Wifi worked well.

2 night stay in a single room. I arrived well before check in time so the room was not ready. I needed to change clothes and freshen up and the hostess really went out of her way to facilitate this. It was therefore a great check in. The room was perfect size with an ensuite shower and toilet. The shower was very good. Hot and powerful. Its so disappointing to have a bad shower, so full marks!! Breakfast also scored full marks. A nice selection of dishes. I opted for a full breakfast and received this quickly, all freshly cooked. I ate out in town and returned to the property not too late! I had a great nights sleep on a very comfortable bed. With regards to parking, there was adequate but limited free parking at the property. As the property was full, the hostess provided parking discs which meant I could park safely right outside. The view from the property over the bay and old castle was stunning and it only took 15 minutes to walk into town and down to the South Beach. I strongly recommend this property for stays in Scarborough and will be returning in the future.

Beautiful location - I could have sat at the little chairs in the window and looked at the sea and the castle forever. Lovely comfy bed and gorgeous cotton bedding. Very nice breakfast & lovely host. Parking very easy & free. A very relaxing break.

This place is perfect. I had a room with a wonderful sea view. Comfortable and clean. I was made very welcome and looked after. Excellent breakfast. Location is just the right mix of quiet and convenient. Definitely coming back.

Hotel is on the sea-front, and the room had a sea view as advertised. Parking on site for 4 cars, so no panicking about finding a spot. Very friendly welcome from the owner, and the room was very comfortable with a decent double bed. I would highly recommend the Leaway if you need somewhere to stay in the Scarborough area.

This place is perfect. I had a room with a wonderful sea view. Comfortable and clean. I was made very welcome and looked after. Excellent breakfast. Location is just the right mix of quiet and convenient. Definitely coming back.

Great property with wonderful host. Parking was available on street or in drive way. Great breakfast in the next morning. Had a sea view which, despite being the small room at the top, included the beach as well as a view of the Scarborough castle ruins. Only hitch was the weather, which is clearly no responsibility of the host ;-)

It is on the quiet North Beach but surprisingly close to South Beach and Peasholm Park. There are bakeries and food shops nearby. I enjoyed the sea/castle view from my window, cooked breakfast which was nicely served and overall convenience. Noise-wise, a lot depends on other guests staying.

Beautiful location - I could have sat at the little chairs in the window and looked at the sea and the castle forever. Lovely comfy bed and gorgeous cotton bedding. Very nice breakfast & lovely host. Parking very easy & free. A very relaxing break.

Fantastic stay, beautiful room with lovely sea view. We were dealt with exclusively by one lady throughout our stay who was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent. There is limited parking outside, enough for 5 cars I reckon but we got a space no problem. 10 min walk to Peasholm Park and similar to the old town and south bay in the other direction. Bed very comfortable, shower really good.

Excellent value for money. A cosy, well equipped room which was spotlessly clean. Friendly, helpful owners. Delicious, generous sized breakfast, and the parking permits make staying here very convenient.

The owner was outstanding. She went out of her way to please her guests and always had a smile. The breakfast was always good with a very choice of options. I believe her name was Joanna but I apologize if I have it wrong.

Booked this hotel as a last minute break . We were able to park off road in front of hotel which was a bonus. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice tea and coffee making facilities. Spotlessly clean bathroom. A little road noise but it didn't keep me awake. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. I would stay again.

The room was spotless with modern facilities. Everything you needed. Clean fresh linen and a very comfy bed. Breakfast excellent - good choice on menu. Will defo stay again.

THE LEAWAY HOTEL IS TRULY A HOME FROM HOME. VERY CLEAN. THE LANDLADY IS REALLY FRIENDLY AND NOTHING IS TOO MUCH TROUBLE. THE BREAKFASTS ARE AMAZING AND AM ALREADY LOOKING FORWARD TO A RETURN VISIT

Lovely hotel in a good location with nice views of the sea if you have a room in the front of the building. I used public transport and walked, the hotel was about a 20 minute walk from the train station.

Last minute booking for an event in town. Perfect location, room spotless, top breakfast,great view from the room and the lady who runs the place couldn't be more helpful. From checking in to checking out top notch, if im back for the event next year will 100% book again!
