Fazenda romântica em Flandres, a 30 km de Ghent

Ein traumhaftes Haus, liebevoll gestalteter Garten und eine super nette Vermieterin. Netter Besuch vom Familienhund

Super gezellig, in goed gezelschap, fantastisch weer en dus grotendeels buiten geleefd. Alhoewel al het nodige aanwezig was en het huis SUPER speciaal en authentiek is gebleven kunnen wij ons niet voorstellen hoe het week-end zou geweest zijn zonder buiten te kunnen leven. Zitruimte en eetplaats echt krap voor 6 personen en een peutertje (2 jaar en 5 Maand). Geweldige bedden en matrassen, horren in alle ramen (uitzondering van eentje en dat is jammer, daar waren veel muggen), Sanitair netjes en volledig in orde. Keuken klein maar compleet (al wat je nodig kan hebben vind je er terug), zeer goed werkende koeling en ruime diepvriezer (bedankt voor de ijsblokjes bij aankomst met dit warme weer). Door de werken wel weinig parkeerruimte.

Gîte très agréable, calme et bien situé à 1 heure de très belles visites. La région est magnifique avec des gens accueillants. Nous nous sommes régalés de spécialités loin de la foule des grandes villes.

We stayed in the cottage for a week during July. We were lucky enough to have beautiful summer weather and enjoyed sitting out early morning and late afternoon in the quiet garden listening to the birds chirping. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms and showers (one upstairs and one downstairs). The stairs to the bedrooms are a bit steep and may be challenging for an older person. The village is approx. 2km from the cottage where we found a delicious bakery! A car is definitely required and we enjoyed day trips to Ghent, Bruges and Brussels (approx. 1 hour drive to each) with a special day visiting the World War I museum at Ypres and paying our respects at the Tyne Cot Commonwealth Cemetery.
