Great location to stay along the Severn. We started in one of the cottages with our dogs. Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom was spotless. The pub bar is dog friendly. Staff were fantastic, hospitable and service was impeccable. The beer is well kept and the food menu is tasty. We paid for breakfast each morning. The full English is great value as is the Eggs Benedict. We will be back and we will bring our dogs again!

Nice hotel with freindly staff. Food in bar downstairs was excellent as was breakfast which was freshly cooked. Room was a bit eclectic, a mixture of traditianal decor with modern furniture. Carpets looked like they could do with a good clean and the room was a bit cold even though the radiator was turned on it barely got warm. Was OK when in bed though. Location was good with excellent views across the river.

The hotel and Bar which displaying signs of the Olde Worlde were nevertheless excellent for us. Clean premises, friendly and very helpful Staff and reasonably priced. We also like the surrounding area of cobbled street and since the premises was fronting on to the River Severn the view was just excellent. Siting outside the Pub alongside the River made for a very pleasant stay on a hot summers evening. Would like to stay there should we happen to be in the district again.

Our second stay at the Mug House. Location is fabulous right next to the river Severn. The in house restaurant is very good and there is also a pizza oven located in the beer garden for a less formal dining experience. Rooms are quaint rather than luxurious with period features, oak beams and fireplaces. Bed was very comfortable. We will no doubt be staying there again in the future.

Great location to stay along the Severn. We started in one of the cottages with our dogs. Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom was spotless. The pub bar is dog friendly. Staff were fantastic, hospitable and service was impeccable. The beer is well kept and the food menu is tasty. We paid for breakfast each morning. The full English is great value as is the Eggs Benedict. We will be back and we will bring our dogs again!

Had a lovely one night stay in cottage 3. Room was clean and quite with lovely views. Only thing missing was a curtain/blind for the small bathroom window but other than that perfect. Will definitely stay again.

Great location lovely food. Room comfortable and clean with refurbished shower room. The bed needs replacing as mattress comfort is non existent. I know it is a personal choice

Although the Staff compensated with complimentary breakfast each day, for the fact our room was dirty and needed a good clean,our overall view of the Mughhouse accommodation was tired,dirty and dated,the room was not serviced during our stay either. The staff are really friendly,but the owner needs to sort out the decor etc of his establishment,and also his attitude and the way he speaks and treats his staff

VERY disappointed firstly it states on the hotels.com site that there is onsite parking for £6.50 (NO ONSITE PARKING WHATSOEVER) Attic room was shocking TV wouldnt connect to any channels Bed was VERY low to the ground Pillows were as flat as a tod very cold in the room.....the window had been left open and it was minus 4 outside.....so i had to turn the radiator up to full and use a heater to warm the room however.....the young girl behind the bar was very helpful

Couldn’t find my way to my room as all lights were turned off there’s no light switch as you come into your room either. In a good location however the rooms are old and dated and very basic.

Lovely pub / restaurant with good range on the menu I stayed in cottage room 3, this is a small room on the top floor and access is by a steep stairway The room is long and poorly lit the bed and sofa are side on to the tv and this is backward and leads to a pain in the neck The bathroom is nice with a walk in shower but the water runs away from the drain and collects around the toilet which means you have to dry the floor before using the toilet

Such a warm and friendly welcome for a solo traveler. Shown to my room which had great facilities if you require disabled facilities. Explained the key requirements for room access. The room was comfortable and extra heaters provided for a warm and cosy stay in such an old beautiful building. Unfortunately due to the current atmospherics of the weather conditions, provided limited viewing of TV for my stay. A well cooked full English breakfast in the cosy bar settings certainly helped me on my travels. A lovely little gem.

We had an incredible welcome upon our arrival the staff couldn't do enough for us. Unfortunately we were late arriving so missed the evening meal socaouldnt comment on the food. We all slept lovely comfy beds really quiet and the sound of the birds in the morning was lovely. Breakfast was just enough and not overpriced. Beautiful views of the river severn would definitely recommend 👍

We received a very warm welcome from the friendly staff. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a view of the river. We also enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant. This was a lovely place to stay, in a picturesque position by the River Severn.

This a very welcoming establishment and all members of staff were very friendly. I would be happy to stay here again. The bed and room were very comfortable and clean. The food for dinner was good although we booked for breakfast later than others and some food had been kept warm a little longer than ideal and was overcooked and a little dry.
