$30 resort fee. No pool. No hot tub. Small beach with about 7 chairs. No working firepit but there were about 5 chairs surrounding it. No lawn chairs. Bar and restaurant not open in the evening. No idea what the resort fee covered. Not given WiFi on registration. (Not sure if it was free or not as I used my hotspot instead) Room was very worn. Table was warped and water stained. Chairs were frayed. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom was large and well equipped.

Courtney at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The food at the tavern was good our room was clean and well insulated. I didn't hear a noise from the nearby lobby. They also three tesla chargers that can be used against a $25 fee.

Hotel rooms were recently renovated. Not a high end renovation, but renovated. Test of hotel needs an uplift. They closed the tavern restaurant with no reason why. Only serve breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were good.

Had a lovely stay in the hotel. Staff were helpful. Entrance lobby very nice for lounging around it and the private beach and jetties were lovely to have morning coffee on. We enjoyed the hotel “pub” where the staff were friendly. We didn’t try and hotel breakfasts and ate out every day we were there.

The Tavern was unavailable due to refurbishing; hopefully the rooms are next. Our room was spacious, but clearly a bit worn and in need of a facelift. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and overall our stay was very pleasant. Front desk staff was gracious and friendly, as was our breakfast host.

A rather dated hotel, nothing stood out as special. Coffee in the morning was available in the lobby, but no coffee makers in the rooms. We were charged a $15 Resort Fee although there were no amenities, the on site Pub was closed, and we didn’t find much of anything offered at all. Clean enough hotel for an overnight stay while traveling but we wouldn’t book again.

The staff is friendly and dedicated. The site is great, by the lake and main street so everything is walkable. Décor is dated (French tourists will love the log cabin feel…) but everything is very clean.

Although the staff was completely lovely, which makes me feel bad writing this, the truth is that our stay was awful. First, our room was dusty and stuffy; I had a terrible stuffy nose and asthma the whole night as a result of it. Although we did not have the heater on in the room, the heater in the hall was way too high, which made our room feel even more stuffy and unfresh. The mattress was about the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on! The mattress was old and had no form to it, the bedding was uncomfortable, and it was impossible to get comfortable. After tossing and turning all night, I think I finally fell asleep at about 6 AM for an hour, before our next-door neighbor started talking loudly and woke me up through the paper thin walls. My daughter slept on the pullout couch, which was even worse. Although Expedia listed this hotel as a hotel with a full restaurant and room service, everything was shut down when we were there (The first weekend of May) so we were only able to have a very limited continental breakfast served in the lobby. Mediocre food at best. The hotel was under construction when we were there, which was a bit inconvenient, but hopefully they will be fixing up the rooms and buying new furniture!

Newly renovated rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Nice breakfast menu with tasty food. Very hard to figure out how to get network tv channels and no guide in room to explain. Front desk clerk had to come up and show us and even she had a hard time finding them. No rugs on floors means you can hear the people walking around in the room above you. No blackout shades, so room gets very bright early in the a.m.

My husband and I needed a place to stay the night before picking our boys up at camp. The Wolfeboro Inn was the only place available, so I booked it despite the high price (even with a great sale on Hotels.com). We arrived in the early afternoon and did enjoy the private beach on Lake Winnipesaukee but I was disappointed in the room and amenities given the price. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom updated but the room lacked any character and only had a mini-fridge. No coffee maker or microwave. Nor do they include continental breakfast. The Inn property is huge, so they could add other outdoor amenities but it was mostly just a big lawn. It wasn't relevant to us since we just stayed one night but I was shocked to read that they don't provide daily housekeeping service at that price point. In short, it is way overpriced.

Our room shared a wall with the public bathroom. Very unpleasant to be awoken every time someone used it. Had no iron or closet in the room. Very convenient to downtown. Seating by the lake was wonderful

The rooms are adequate for sleeping. We were put in a room that felt like a basement. It appeared to be their room fitted for the disabled. Sad that this is how much they think of them. It was a glorified basement room with tatty furniture and no natural light. The prices are far too high compared to the rooms we were given. Next time in Wolfeboro, which is often as we have family there, we will try somewhere else.

It was a glorified basement room with tatty furniture and no natural light. The prices are far too high compared to the rooms we were given. Next time in Wolfeboro, which is often as we have family there, we will try somewhere else.

It was probably just the time of year, but our room was full of ladybugs. The temperature was set to 62 when we arrived, so our room was very chilly, especially with the bare floors. But the building itself was very pretty and we had a great view. There was a balcony, but it was locked. I probably would not stay here again for the prices they charge.

Everything was fine except the room temperature was 81 degrees with no way of turning down the heat and we had to open the windows to sleep. The water press in the shower was as low as it gets. For $200 a night I was disappointed.

Stayed here for 2 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. The front desk staff were great and very friendly and caring. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time. The room was clean and recently updated. The staff was unbelievable. We had made an assumption which could have ruined our weekend. We were at a destination which we were going back to the next day so we decided to leave our car and travel back with friends. The next morning we tried calling an Uber to get back to our destination. Unfortunately at thst point Uber service wasn't available we were stuck. The staff tried everything they could to get us a ride without any success. One of the hotels regional managers was at the hotel going over renovations offered to drive us 45 minutes out of his way to return us to our car. When I tried to compensate him for his time and gas he wouldn't take even a dollar. They saved our weekend. The hotel was beautiful the staff super helpful and management went above and beyond any expectations. The Town and lake which the hotel is on was incredible. I highly recommend this Hotel.

Our room was newly renovated. Already, the toilet paper holder was broken. There was no full length mirror in the room, no hangers in closet, no shower mat, no window shades or curtain for the two smaller windows on the side. We did not get a long sleep, the light was coming in around 4:30am. Had to use a towel to cover part of the window, so we can sleep a bit longer. The bed was very comfortable, room was clean. The front desk customer service needs improvement. I came in to check-in during a shift change. I was left standing at the counter without any acknowledgement from the 2 ladies behind the counter for probably 5 minutes, while they discussed whatever it was, until one of them left. No sorry or anything, guess it’s normal practice. Guests are not that important! 🙄 The good thing about this place is the location. Right on the water, and within walking distance to the piers, all the shops & restaurants. Overall, you get what you pay for.

Had a lovely stay in the hotel. Staff were helpful. Entrance lobby very nice for lounging around it and the private beach and jetties were lovely to have morning coffee on. We enjoyed the hotel “pub” where the staff were friendly. We didn’t try and hotel breakfasts and ate out every day we were there.

Holiday with friends in New England. Hotel is in a great location as Wolfboro is an excellent spot to explore the area and has several good bars and restaurants. Hotel is good and would recommend overall although the rooms and public areas of the hotel are looking a bit dated and could be improved with modest investment.

Very nice older inn, spacious lobby, nice room, easy parking, great restaurants and littlr shops close by. We ate a delicious pizza and beet salad at Nolan's restaurant right across the street.

The Wolfboro Inn is a quaint little place in an excellent area - very walkable and close to everything. The staff was nice, and the lobby was beautiful. The overall property condition however was not what I expected. This used to be a true luxury resort, and I do not think that is the case anymore. Paint and window work is needed. There was nothing about our small room or the property that would make you have a luxury or resort feel - should not be charging a resort fee. While our stay was fine, it was not worth the money.

The staff is friendly and dedicated. The site is great, by the lake and main street so everything is walkable. Décor is dated (French tourists will love the log cabin feel…) but everything is very clean.

The room was not properly prepared when we arrived (no hangers in closet, no drinking glasses, insufficient towels/ shower products, fridge was leaking water). The continental breakfast was not being replenished until requested...first come/first served seems to be their notion. Breakfast was served/eaten in the lobby even though there are no proper dining tables (when asked for a spoon, staff replied that there were none???)

The Wolfeboro is a lovely place to stay. Everyone was very nice. The Tavern was closed as was the breakfast spot . The hotel did provide a continental breakfast which was good. Easy check in and checkout. I would definitely stay there again

Hotel rooms were recently renovated. Not a high end renovation, but renovated. Test of hotel needs an uplift. They closed the tavern restaurant with no reason why. Only serve breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were good.

Weloved our stsy. Once again...things get better with each visit! The staff is great...MOST comfortable bed, and live the revived libby. This time we were thrilled with the new breakfasts amd the cafe. Absolutely delucious! Cant wait to teturn in the Spring!

The Tavern was unavailable due to refurbishing; hopefully the rooms are next. Our room was spacious, but clearly a bit worn and in need of a facelift. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. A rather dated hotel, nothing stood out as special. Coffee in the morning was available in the lobby, but no coffee makers in the rooms. We were charged a $15 Resort Fee although there were no amenities, the on site Pub was closed, and we didn’t find much of anything offered at all. Clean enough hotel for an overnight stay while traveling but we wouldn’t book again.

The hotel is in a great location, literally a two-minute walk to downtown Wolfeboro, which was definitely the biggest plus for us. Our room was clean, and our interactions with the front desk were perfectly fine. We did not eat at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the food. Our room, I believe #105, was right next to the check-in area and was a handicap-accessible room. The window was basically at ground level, and between that and the room lighting, it felt a little dark. The hotel does have a small beach area, but unfortunately it really wasn’t set up to be enjoyed. There were only about seven lounge chairs for the entire hotel, and they weren’t very comfortable. There were also three Adirondack chairs, one of which was broken. There were no beach towels or umbrellas available. Luckily, we had brought our own beach chairs, towels and umbrella. The area where the “pool toys,” floats, etc. were stored was locked, so none of those were available to use either. Just to clarify, there is no swimming pool at the hotel. There was also a firepit, but we were told it couldn’t be used due to fire department restrictions because of the dry conditions, which is obviously understandable. One thing that really surprised me was how much unused potential the hotel has. There is a good-sized porch off one of the function rooms that would have been a great place to sit in the morning with a cup of coffee, but there were no chairs or seating out there at all. We didn't use the hotel much except for sleeping as we were visiting friends nearby. The number of emails received was unnecessary and excessive and plain irritating as each one required opening an attachment to see if it was important and most were not.
