Event going on downstairs with Disco/DJ from 8PM-12AM so loud couldn't sleep! No warning of this when checking in!! Poor quality room and way over rated. Should be a 1 star rating for this hotel. Not impressed

The rooms are located directly above the function room. If you are booking a room to get a good nights sleep don’t bother!!! The email saying a function is on & you MAY be disrupted is a lie, you will be!!! My room floor was vibrating & music & noise until way past midnight I finally hit yo sleep approx 1am needing to up early hence the reason for my stop over!!!

Massive carpark, quick check-in, all info given . A lift to the 1st floor The room i had was very spacious. Bed was comfortable WiFi excellent Shower was hot and powerful Restaurant joined to the hotel Good food ,excellent value Breakfast not included but could add on if wanted Situated on the outskirts of Lincoln Some nice walks close by. Would definitely stay again when in the area 👍

Pub with rooms on an industrial estate. Food quality poor. Rooms just ok. Other chains in the price range are better. Good thing would be unlimited parking for more than one car. Didn't really think about where we were staying (it was for a funeral) but wished we had.

The property is a busy pub/carvery which makes it by definition crowded in the dining areas. The hotel itself is fairly comfortable although in need of some decoration and updating in the bathroom particularly. On the Saturday we were staying there was a function taking place until midnight. If we had known at time of booking we would have probably reconsidered. Reasonable value for money.

Staff really friendly and helpful the carvery food was excellent and good value for money, breakfast buffet was fresh and well done. Despite being a wedding on the night we were there the place was really quiet and subdued. Lots of free parking.

The property itself is not bad, with a nice location. The staff at the front desk and swimming pool area were satisfactory. However, the cleaning staff did a poor job, leaving behind cobwebs and dust in the room. The room temperature was not regulated well, with some guests feeling too cold due to the inactive heating system. The bathroom was particularly dirty. The place is tricky to find. The postcode takes you down the road. It’s actually on a busy roundabout. The hotel is a bit tired but everything in the room worked. Bed was clean as was the bathroom. There was an iron, hairdryer etc. The walls are very thin as we could clearly hear every word in the next room. 😬 Check in was easy. Didn’t eat there so no comment on the food.

We were visiting family and this has been the worst room we have ever stayed in. The bed looked like a dog or other animals had been in the room and ripped the bed. The curtain was hanging off the window where it was ripped. At breakfast you were having to ask for plates, missing food, and each time having to wait for it to come. Nobody was on reception and you had to ring a bell and wait. Could not upload photos.

The room was well equipped but looked a bit tired. The duvet cover had a bid hole in it, there was only one hand towel and we had to ask for more milk. The music from the function was very very loud!!! It did stop at midnight.

We had a lovely one night stay at the Windmill. Greeted by Caitlin on Reception who is very pleasant and helpful. We were helped by Ash who found us a table for dinner. The carvery was delicious (according to my husband) I had a delicious rib eye steak. The staff were all friendly and checked if everything was ok without being overbearing. The room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Comfy beds too. The shower was the best ive had for ages. Breakfast this morning was tasty with everything being refrshed regularly. Ash was around working hard this morning too. We would highly recommend this Hotel/pub if you are staying near Lincoln and we will definitely stay again.

Pillows ok but one too little and 2 too much. Did not sleep well. Could hear every noise from people next door. Paintwork throughout hotel could do with a refresh. Carpets very worn in places. Service and food in restaurant was very good even though they were busy.

BH weekend, completely mistake. The plus was distance to the Lincoln city, and the size of room. Very happy didn't choose this place on winter time because very tired windows probably do not keep any warm in the room on widny cold days, really need redecorating, as well as sound proof. Last night was wedding, we couldn't sleep up to 1am. Extremely noisy music up to at least midnight, and after that guest chatting on the corridor, it was nightmare. As a bussines you can clery see they saving money on people, short of staff on any position, people doing great work, but if you working every day at least as 1.5 person you are not able to work in 100%. People working there so hard and looks so tired. Thank you all for your hard work. Any way breakfast non stop down with some stuff, eggs cold both days, no enough waiters around. Nice garden, but again need some new furnitures and a bit of touch, we could spend nice evening moment there but it wasn't welcoming at all. Quick beer and back to the room. Sorry but never again. Choose carefully if you going that way.

The staff were excellent, always friendly and helpful. Very good sized room and king sized bed. However, it's all in need of modernisation, so some things (e.g. lights) are dated and not all working properly. Apparently this is being done soon. I was not told that there would be a banging disco downstairs on the Saturday night, which went on until a little after midnight. The walls are THIN ... I heard a lot of noise from the adjacent room, even down to the clicking of their light switches and the vibration of their mobile phone when it rang. Having said that, when I did fall asleep I had a good night's rest, and the bed was comfortable.

Always excellent! After a five hour drive we are always met with a friendly smile from the receptionist, quite often Caitlin, which automatically makes us feel welcome and lifts us from that journey. Everything is clean and comfortable and the dining experience is excellent too. All staff are friendly and cheerful making it an even more enjoyable experience. Thank you everyone we will back soon

What a wonderful stay we had!! Thank you to Katelyn for your amazing and warm customer service from the moment we arrived to the moment we left! Her positive, friendly, kind, and encouraging personality made our family feel so welcome and cared for. And thank you to Felicity in the restaurant for being so kind and friendly to our family, especially our son Jeremiah! He thought you were the nicest lady he’s met! We appreciated getting to see you at breakfast and you made our morning so much happier with your superb hostess abilities!!! Give these ladies a raise, as they are absolutely, positively, running this hotel in the utmost highest of standards!! We will stay here again for sure!!

Staed one night. Greeted at reception by a lovely lady. Very informative and friendly. Room 14 was a bit dated and tired. Bed not that comfortable but huge ! Pillows ok but one too little and 2 too much. Did not sleep well. Could hear every noise from people next door. Paintwork throughout hotel could do with a refresh. Carpets very worn in places. Service and food in restaurant was very good even though they were busy.

We were welcomed by Caitlin. Such a lovely lady who was genuinely interested in making sure everything was perfect. So we felt at ease straight away. Lovely large, clean room with a huge bed. Lots of attention to detail. Nice clean bathroom. All staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Food choices very good too.

Staff really friendly and helpful the carvery food was excellent and good value for money, breakfast buffet was fresh and well done. Despite being a wedding on the night we were there the place was really quiet and subdued. Lots of free parking.

The place is tricky to find. The postcode takes you down the road. It’s actually on a busy roundabout. The hotel is a bit tired but everything in the room worked. Bed was clean as was the bathroom. There was an iron, hairdryer etc. The walls are very thin as we could clearly hear every word in the next room. 😬 Check in was easy. Didn’t eat there so no comment on the food.

The free Wi-Fi was easy to use and the fact that I had forgotten my credit card and money was no problem (although it might have been had I not travelled with my brothers, sisters-in-law and niece so that I was able to get breakfast and dinner bought for me). Staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable. The only downside was that a car seemed to be essential and I'm epileptic so I can't drive.

This was a convenient location for us to meet friends from other directions. Drinks Food and Staff were all good - the general site all seems a little tired and could do with a facelift.

Massive carpark, quick check-in, all info given . A lift to the 1st floor The room i had was very spacious. Bed was comfortable WiFi excellent Shower was hot and powerful Restaurant joined to the hotel Good food ,excellent value Breakfast not included but could add on if wanted Situated on the outskirts of Lincoln Some nice walks close by. Would definitely stay again when in the area 👍

Pub with rooms on an industrial estate. Food quality poor. Rooms just ok. Other chains in the price range are better. Good thing would be unlimited parking for more than one car. Didn't really think about where we were staying (it was for a funeral) but wished we had.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. however, we were disappointed there were no rural walks in the immediate vicinity, having been assured country walks were available. Otherwise than that we had no complaints.

Stay was good , only 2 points of note .1 Beer garden over run with ants and garden furniture needs upgrading. 2 At breakfast cereals and coffee station numerous files.

We were visiting family and this has been the worst room we have ever stayed in. The bed looked like a dog or other animals had been in the room and ripped the bed. The curtain was hanging off the window where it was ripped. At breakfast you were having to ask for plates, missing food, and each time having to wait for it to come. Nobody was on reception and you had to ring a bell and wait. Could not upload photos.

Comfortable rooms, good value. Breakfast service not bad but layout a bit confusing. Self service for juice would be helpful, also you had to ask for a cup for your tea and coffee, and a small side plate. I am sure there is a better way of distinguishing between prepaid guests and those paying at the time.

We had a lovely one night stay at the Windmill. Greeted by Caitlin on Reception who is very pleasant and helpful. We were helped by Ash who found us a table for dinner. The carvery was delicious (according to my husband) I had a delicious rib eye steak. The staff were all friendly and checked if everything was ok without being overbearing. The room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Comfy beds too. The shower was the best ive had for ages. Breakfast this morning was tasty with everything being refrshed regularly. Ash was around working hard this morning too. We would highly recommend this Hotel/pub if you are staying near Lincoln and we will definitely stay again.

Excellent staff as per usual and very helpful. Although the hotel is ideal for our needs it is looking tired and in need of TLC. Plenty of parking and with everything under one roof it makes it a good choice for a short stay. This time there was a large function on both nights which would have been good to have known before so that we could have had the chance to change the dates.

Staff were helpful, restaurant nice and friendly, rooms ok but could do with a facelift - carpets getting threadbare and could do with a lick of paint. Extractor fan in bathroom didn’t work and glasses in room looked about 20 years old. Would probably stay again though because handy for Lincoln.

Breakfast was all for the bacon was sweaty all of the other elements were refried and old. The bedroom was substanded and there was mould in the bathroom. No air conditioning. The price does not reflect the quality of the stay it is generally quite expensive for the quality

Bathroom is tired looking silicone all round everywhere in big lumps. Light in the middle of the room looks as though it has been stuck on a big piece of plasterboard and siliconed on. Mattress needs upgrading could feel the springs, old fashioned decor. Shower curtain to far into the bath and kept sticking to me. Staff very friendly.
