Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Ample sized room, well decorated with a very goodshower, bed and tv. It was quiet when i stayed so parking available onsite. Breakfast and evening fodd was also very good. Coastal location is beautiful.

Location was good. Room on the small size even the though it was premium. Irritating that gym was closed as was the sun terrace. Neither was mentioned on the hotel website or even when booked. Oh and if you wanted to charge an EV - the charger had been ripped out. I don't choose a hotel purely for such things but they do influence my decision. However the staff were always helpful and the breakfast good.

Stayed for 4 nights. Good selection of all day foods, including room service. Balcony room had a huge bathroom, very comfortable. Staff extremely pleasant.

The front of the hotel has beautiful views over Cobo Bay, with outside bar area. However, not all rooms have with outside views. Some standard rooms that have windows that overlook internal roof spaces with fire doors and corridors so the rooms are overlooked. However, rooms were pleasant, beds & pillows comfy and very clean. Lovely staff in housekeeping and bar/restaurant and everyone generally very helpful.

This is a great hotel in a prime location. The room with balcony was small but good with a wonderful view of the beach and sea. The service and quality of the food was truly excellent and with convenient parking at the rear made it ideal. Would definitely choose that hotel for another visit.

Negative: Breakfast finishes at 10.00am even on Sundays. Bedroom doors slam shut. The sun deck was not in use. Steam room out of order. Not enough drawers in rooms. Positive: Good position. Nice beds. Lots of hangers for clothes. Sauna.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent. Room was cleanest I've ever seen any hotel room! Wifi excellent. However room was extremely noisy due to window bring right above kitchen extractor fans but mainly due to really loud music from pub disco next door.

Ich war etwas skeptisch wegen den Restaurants davor und daneben, aber um 23 Uhr war Lichterlöschen und Ruhe. Knapp gehaltene Anlage, kaum Privatsphäre auf dem Balkon, aber schöne Sicht und direkt am Strand. Gutes Frühstück. Bus (z.B. Nr. 41) in der Nähe sowie auch ein Supermarkt.

Excellent 2 night stay. We booked a balcony bedroom which had the most incredible views across the sea to enjoy the sunset. The rooms are on the small side and the bathroom is compact. However everything is spotless. Downsides would be the thin walls: be prepared to overhear people talking and using the bathroom! And the door to the balcony was hard to open, close and lock. The staff are warm and welcoming and highly efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant lacks character but is clean and spacious with panoramic views of the sea. Most important though was the quality of the food which was outstanding at breakfast and dinner or a light lunch outside on the terrace. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk and there is a Morrisons daily a 3 min walk away. Taxis are expensive on Guernsey - nearly £20 to travel to St Peter Port from Cobo on a Friday morning- the bus is £1.15! We caught the bus from the airport, and it was almost door to door. Will definitely return. Thank you for looking after us so well

This hotel is lovely. Whilst it is slightly dated in some of the decor, it is scrupulous clean and it adds to the ambience of the whole hotel. The bar area with its lovely leather sofas and really comfy upright chairs, the restaurant supplying both a full choice breakfast menu and a superb dinner menu, the rooms were a nice size, comfy beds and an amazing sea view, with a balcony. The whole experience was wonderful and a highly recommended place to stay. All staff are warm and welcoming, including the owner, who we met onsite.

This is meant to be a 3 star hotel but I found it to be much better. The place was spotless. The condition of my room and all common areas left me wanting for nothing. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The bathroom was...perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

Property was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dining was very good. The bed was uncomfortable, they need to replace mattresses. Hallways could use an upgrade, rooms are very nice appear to be recently renovated.

Hotel is generally good, the only complaint I have is that the person above me had their tv on loud and the sound insulation could be improved, this is the second time I’ve have stayed, only for 1 night on both occasions and the noise from above has been bad , floors were creaky and voices carried through the ceiling, staff were extremely helpful and hotel is clean and room well appointed

What an amazing hotel. The staff were amazing. The room its self was great. Thete was a huge comfortable bed with lots of space around.a tabld with 2 chairs then s desk with another chair. Bathroom was big too with a bath with shower over. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent 2 night stay. We booked a balcony bedroom which had the most incredible views across the sea to enjoy the sunset. The rooms are on the small side and the bathroom is compact. However everything is spotless. Downsides would be the thin walls: be prepared to overhear people talking and using the bathroom! And the door to the balcony was hard to open, close and lock. The staff are warm and welcoming and highly efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant lacks character but is clean and spacious with panoramic views of the sea. Most important though was the quality of the food which was outstanding at breakfast and dinner or a light lunch outside on the terrace. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk and there is a Morrisons daily a 3 min walk away. This is the third time I have stayed in the Cobo Bay Hotel. We had a twin room on the top floor. It was very quiet, apart from people leaving the pub next door on a Friday and Saturday night, over a 20 minute period. The room was very warm and cosy, it was easy to control the temperature. Everything was clean and tidy. Nice view from the window. The bathroom is a good size, nice bath and shower. Tea and coffee available in the room, with biscuits, a good size TV. Plenty of wardrobe space and a safe, if needed. Reception staff very polite and helpful , as are the staff serving breakfast. Breakfast is more than adequate, a good choice of food, in a large, pleasant room overlooking the beach/sea. There is a good bar area, and another room for entertainment , e..g a comedy show. The Cobo hotel is in a great location, the extensive sandy beach is just across the road. Also a reasonable price.

Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Ample sized room, well decorated with a very goodshower, bed and tv. It was quiet when i stayed so parking available onsite. Breakfast and evening fodd was also very good. Coastal location is beautiful.

Always a great stay beautiful location right on beach, good clean standard of accommodation, excellent staff throughout and very reasonably priced too. Lovely breakfast with sea views, both full English and continental options either included in your room rate or available as a supplement but worth it!! Not my first stay and won’t be my last!!!!

The staff were amazing they couldn’t do enough for the guests. They always remembered guest preferences. The breakfast menu was varied and there was plenty of it. The beds were comfortable. I particularly liked the bathroom which had a large shower compartment with plenty of hot water. There was no need to take shower creams, shampoo or body moisturiser as there were large containers of all supplied. Robes and slippers provided was a nice touch. The view from the hotel was stunning overlooking the beach and amazing sunsets at dinner time. The dinner menu was fantastic and food cooked and presented to a high standard. All in all a brilliant hotel and should be a 4*. Will definitely stay again.

Staff very helpful. Due to plane delays arriving after last check in. Spoke with the staff and arranged for we to get keys after hours. Breakfast was excellent with amazing view over the seafront.

Had a lovely 3 night stay at the Cobo Hotel, the hotel was lovely, staff really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again, especially as the hot breakfast is cooked to order and was lovely. The location is great, lots to do locally and a scenic bus ride to St Peter Port.

Always a great stay here, excellent rooms very clean n comfortable, staff great, breakfast lovely. Easy to find, right on CoBo beach front, bus stop opposite for full access to the island. Highly recommend staying here, prices reasonably here but I do shop around other search engines to get best price.

The Cobo Bay Hotel is the centrepoint of the Cobo Bay area, and as such is a popular place for people to visit, especially given that it's right next door to the Rockmount pub and Cobo Bay Tea Rooms - both worth a visit. The hotel itself is nice without being too corporate, and the staff are very friendly. It has a good restaurant and breakfasts are also good. We had a lovely stay there. Ultimately it is the location that makes it.

The views were spectacular. The restaurant had a terrace and it was delightful to watch the ocean view sunset at meal times. Nice selection of teas and coffees in the room. The bar next door was bumping! But it did not disturb the stay.

Superb views says it all. One criticism why bring toast with the coffee before any breakfast, it’s stone cold by the time you want it, yes I did miss toasting my own.

The staff were extremely welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Loved being right on the coast, and plenty of busses to take you around the island. Will definitely be back.

From the moment we arrived the staff were very helpful, the room was clean and all facilities worked well. The room and balcony had a great view over the bay and we saw some amazing sunsets. The food was good and on the day we had to miss breakfast the staff ensured we had a packed breakfast to take with us. There was a good choice of food on the menu for all meals and the waiters were on the ball. The staff were all very helpful during our stay and we will look forward to returning.

Wir reisten zu zweit und jeder hatte ein eigenes Zimmer. Mein Cousin hatte ein sehr grosses Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick. Ich hatte ein kleines Einzelzimmer. Beide waren wir sehr zufrieden. Die Tee-Kaffeestation im Zimmer wurde täglich gut aufgefüllt, Anfangs Aufenthalt gab es sogar frische Shortbreads. Mein Bad im Einzelzimmer hatte eine sehr gut funktionierende, moderne Dusche und tolle Pflegeprodukte im Spender. Wir haben immer im Hotelrestaurant gegessen und alles war stets lecker, das Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig mit der tollen Möglichkeit warme Speisen dazu zubestellen. Alle vom Personal waren extrem freundlich. Vom Hotel aus ist man nur durch eine Strasse vom Strand getrennt um zu baden. Das Hotel ist gemütlich und herzig mit einer familiären Atmosphäre. Only stayed over one night but our room had a great view overlooking the sea, and a fantastic sunset. Booking in was easy, however finding the car-park access not so make sure you find how to get in if you need it. We ate at a table outside the hotel and we enjoyed the meals. The breakfast was good. Both the continental and cooked menus offered a sufficient choice. All meals served by attentive staff.

Booking in was easy, however finding the car-park access not so make sure you find how to get in if you need it. We ate at a table outside the hotel and we enjoyed the meals. The breakfast was good. Both the continental and cooked menus offered a sufficient choice. All meals served by attentive staff.
