Thanet Hotel

The reception staff were not very attentive when we arrived. The radiator in our room was stuck 'on', couldn't be switched off - on such a mild night it made the room very hot. There were no tea-making facilties provided in the room which is standard in UK hotels - this had not been explained in the information when booking, and for the price paid made it very poor value. There is no breakfast at this hotel either. Very disappointing.

There was a park close buy but the waste bins need cleaning out and looking after

Staff is extremely friendly and the location is within walking distance of many amenities

the floor was quite loud but probably because we’re on the top floor. only reason i put 4 stars was because there’s no lift and we had to carry all our luggages from ground to 3rd floor. otherwise it’s all good stay
