The Beachcroft is an older property but well maintained, with a fantastic location right on the seafront. Great staff and service. The pool was a little disappointing - it’s small with limited opening times and 30 minute booking slots for hotel residents.

Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Dinner, and breakfast (included, which is becoming so rare) were delicious. We LOVED the option of booking the pool for a private session of 50 minutes. Felt pampered and spoilt by the staff, it really was a treat!

Fantastic place to stay. We like the idea of booking a slot for the pool. This avoids overcrowding and gives you some privacy. The food in the restaurant is outstanding both for main meals and breakfast. All the staff are helpful and polite. Being so close to the beach adds to the relaxed atmosphere.

Located very close to the beach. Room is comfortable. Car park is a bit small and the road leading to the hotel is a bit narrow due to cars parked in the road. The small snooker table has been moved since our last visit making it difficult to get your cue past the walls in places. We love the atmosphere of this place. The food is really nice. Happy to return again.

Great location! Fantastic staff and extremely dog welcoming. The terrace room was super clean and comfortable and the beach bar superb. They made our 12.5 stone St Bernard dog, Barnum, feel right at home

Front door and reception closed around 10.30pm, had a problem when our key wouldn’t open front door at 10.30 pm after a meal out, had to phone for help ( Guy not very helpful tbh ). Car park was also full and nowhere to park at 10.30pm

this hotel needs a serious over haul - its only partly on the beach, the photos are very deceiving. Its worn - black mould around a shower is never a good look. If you are elderly and a coach party (which I was not) be prepared for standing at reception for about an hour for check in with nowhere to sit.

Very disappointed with room. House keeping hung up my dirty towel that I left on the floor for a replacement. My coffee cup was left dirty. Bath and sink not washed out.

Pros: Very helpful team on Reception. Location was great; right next to beach and 25 min near-level walk to Bognor pier. Loved the pool and the option to have a private swim slot in the afternoon. No problem getting a slot that suited us. Nice sea view from room. Comfortable beds and I really liked the little extras for children. Great breakfast in the morning. Cons: limited dinner options for children. We wanted to eat at the hotel but due to the lack of choice, ended up going to the Lobster Pot 2 minutes away (also a great choice, right by the beach). Car park small with no turning area. One parked SUV made it very difficult to exit. We did get a space; if we hadn’t it would have been difficult to park locally. Decor was a little dated but everything was clean and well cared for. Our room was too warm for me but we were able to open the balcony doors and cool it down. Overall very pleasant stay and would return.

Very old fashioned hotel that has not been updated since the 60'ties. Dirty linnen, spiders in the room, a shower very only tiny drops comes out, not very flexible with check-in. At 170 pounds pr night this hotel is highly over priced. One good thing - free parking

The receptionist wasnt welcoming at all! No smile, didnt care and didnt engage at all! I was travelling for 5 hours and stuck in traffic and horrible weather....I was looking forward to my destination, but she didnt care at all. The barman on ither hand was quite the opposite, welcoming, chatty and friendly . The barman saved the score , as i was going to score only 1 star! The room was average and the bathroom floor wasnt clean, it was dirty. Food was average , quite expensive for what I had. The hotel prioritse the ciaxh parties first before the other guests, i guess this is tyeir main income!? Overall average hotel, quite expensive for what it delivers and staff definitely need to understand if you cant be bother to be in hospitality trade go and fill shelves at the supermarket , as paying guests dont deserve to be treated like they are an inconvenience!!!!

We had a king Seaview room. It was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. We had a nice cheese and ham sandwich in the outside cafe and watched the world go by! We found all of the staff very friendly and helpful and would definitely be coming back!

Excellent spacious room with a very nice modern bathroom. Incredibly comfy bed and pillows to match. Best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. Really friendly staff and superb restaurant.

I usually enjoy BW Hotels, but this one had too many minor things wrong with the room for me to regard it as good value. Firstly, we specifically asked for twin beds but got a small double. The room was very small. The mattress was too soft. The room was too hot during the night. The shower was hot but had very little pressure. The toilet seat would not stay up easily and did not sit squarely on the base. All little things to be fair, but there were too many of them. The staff were nice, the situation of the hotel is good, and the WiFi worked well. However there were too many small irritations for the hotel to be able to justify the price that was charged.

This hotel is a gem! Positioned so close to the seafront with great walks in both directions. We stayed on a double room with access to a small terrace from which we could see the sea and enjoy the morning sun.

All staff were polite, professional and very friendly, especially the young man who served us Sunday lunch, he was a real character and the young lady and man at reception on check in, when we decided to stay for another night, they arranged for us to stay in the same room. Food was reasonably priced, well presented and tasty. Nothing negative!

When we arrived at the Beachcroft we discovered that our twin bedded room was on the first floor. I made a request to change the room to one on the ground floor. The staff set to and prepared a ground floor room and arranged it as twin beds. This was achieved within 10 minutes of my request which I thought was excellent service. We booked a table for dinner and were very impressed not only with the menu but with the level of service which was first class. We took dinner on the second night and were once again given a high level of service. We would like to thank all of the staff for the service that we received. A very efficient hotel. We will definitely return and will pass on our experience to friends and family.

We took dinner on the second night and were once again given a high level of service. We would like to thank all of the staff for the service that we received. A very efficient hotel. We will definitely return and will pass on our experience to friends and family.

The receptionist wasnt welcoming at all! No smile, didnt care and didnt engage at all! I was travelling for 5 hours and stuck in traffic and horrible weather....I was looking forward to my destination, but she didnt care at all. The barman on ither hand was quite the opposite, welcoming, chatty and friendly . The barman saved the score , as i was going to score only 1 star! The room was average and the bathroom floor wasnt clean, it was dirty. Food was average , quite expensive for what I had. The hotel prioritse the ciaxh parties first before the other guests, i guess this is tyeir main income!? Overall average hotel, quite expensive for what it delivers and staff definitely need to understand if you cant be bother to be in hospitality trade go and fill shelves at the supermarket , as paying guests dont deserve to be treated like they are an inconvenience!!!!

Front door and reception closed around 10.30pm, had a problem when our key wouldn’t open front door at 10.30 pm after a meal out, had to phone for help ( Guy not very helpful tbh ). Car park was also full and nowhere to park at 10.30pm

The hotel was right next to the beach, and the pizza served overlooking the ocean was great. The "communal" areas like entrance and hallways looked a bit dated, but generally OK. The breakfast was very good, and the kids enjoyed the indoor swimming pool.

Located very close to the beach. Room is comfortable. Car park is a bit small and the road leading to the hotel is a bit narrow due to cars parked in the road. The small snooker table has been moved since our last visit making it difficult to get your cue past the walls in places. We love the atmosphere of this place. The food is really nice. Happy to return again.

Excellent spacious room with a very nice modern bathroom. Incredibly comfy bed and pillows to match. Best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. Really friendly staff and superb restaurant.

Reception was OK but she warned me reception closed at 9pm. No warning thet the door was locked at 11.30 pm (not that I was out that late). Tried to get something to eat but the kitchen was closed at 10 to 9. You'll have to 'go into town' but they will likely be closed too. Probably a takeaway. In fact there were restaurants open. Cold in the room in the morning because windows open. No parking available in the car park and I found the only space free on the street. Breakfast was OK and checking out was fine. It was OK really but I was irritated by no dinner available and unhelpful advice

Its expensive for 3 nights with just breakfast included, dinner needs to be included in the £500.00, swimming pool needs to be bigger and open for longer and more inviting, the disco lights in the dinning room need replacing, the drinks need to be pub prices, there was 3 of us one night as was visting friends, they had a doule tia mairia each and i had a double brandy, £27.00, far to expensive, rooms need replacing in room 23, this overlooks the restaurant roof with a long wire hanging done from somewhere, 23 needs decorating and the bathroom needs to be bigger, cant swing a cat in there. One young man before the bar was very polite and chatty.

The hotel was situated on the seafront, giving a real holiday experience. Blakes Alfresco snack bar was a delightful place to sit and watch the world go by, view the sailing boats, and people watch. The Promenade is lovely and the people were friendly, and provides the perfect place to walk or cycle off the very generous breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is dog friendly too, which was lovely to see. The breakfast menu had a good range of choice, including vegetarian and vegan options. The journey by train was longer than we had anticipated due to there not being a direct route to Bognor Regis. 4 trains that took over 3 hrs, for what is probably a one hour, 30 minute car journey (at most), so I would say check out your travel options as a coach or car may be a better option. Overall we had a lovely experience at the hotel and we would highly recommend the Beachcroft Hotel in Bognor Regis. There is a variety of accommodation to choose from to meet your needs and is good value for money.

All staff were polite, professional and very friendly, especially the young man who served us Sunday lunch, he was a real character and the young lady and man at reception on check in, when we decided to stay for another night, they arranged for us to stay in the same room. Food was reasonably priced, well presented and tasty. Nothing negative!

Pros: Very helpful team on Reception. Location was great; right next to beach and 25 min near-level walk to Bognor pier. Loved the pool and the option to have a private swim slot in the afternoon. No problem getting a slot that suited us. Nice sea view from room. Comfortable beds and I really liked the little extras for children. Great breakfast in the morning. Cons: limited dinner options for children. We wanted to eat at the hotel but due to the lack of choice, ended up going to the Lobster Pot 2 minutes away (also a great choice, right by the beach). Car park small with no turning area. One parked SUV made it very difficult to exit. We did get a space; if we hadn’t it would have been difficult to park locally. Decor was a little dated but everything was clean and well cared for. Our room was too warm for me but we were able to open the balcony doors and cool it down. Overall very pleasant stay and would return.

Fantastic place to stay. We like the idea of booking a slot for the pool. This avoids overcrowding and gives you some privacy. The food in the restaurant is outstanding both for main meals and breakfast. All the staff are helpful and polite. Being so close to the beach adds to the relaxed atmosphere.

When we arrived at the Beachcroft we discovered that our twin bedded room was on the first floor. I made a request to change the room to one on the ground floor. The staff set to and prepared a ground floor room and arranged it as twin beds. This was achieved within 10 minutes of my request which I thought was excellent service. We booked a table for dinner and were very impressed not only with the menu but with the level of service which was first class. Upgraded at last minute to penthouse. Unfortunately the milk had gone off in the fridge and ice tray wasn’t clean, but they hadn’t expected occupancy.Wine and soft drinks very well received but it would have been nice to have had still not sparkling water. King size bed was really comfortable and clean. All rooms impressive apart from chairs at dinning table (little shabby) and no battery in clock in mantel piece. Overall good experience and so glad l upgraded to a much bigger suite.
