Cute little hotel, there was a rooftop patio where we sat and had our lunch. Our room was in a separate building. Being an old building, there was a retrofitted lift which barely had room for my husband and I and our carryon bags. Room was nice and clean. It had heat, but unfortunately we could only turn on or off and could not control the temperature. So it was either cold, or very warm. Breakfast was simple, but enough to fill us for a busy day of walking.

The front desk staff and the wait staff were all very kind, polite and accommodating. The room was great, great location. The rooftop area would be amazing if it was staffed by someone at the bar. Otherwise it was a peaceful space relax.

The roof top balcony was a definite plus! The Minerva room had an authentic vintage Rome feel and was quite a big room. Staff was available 24/7 and quite friendly. The complimentary breakfast was good, croissants, coffee (cappuccino, cafe latte), broiled egg, juice, ham and cheese, yogurt, jams. The best restaurant for food and gelato was nearby - Ai Tre Scalini (best eggplant parm!!) /

The staff was friendly and very helpful! The location was awesome with great dining nearby. We enjoyed the breakfast and the rooftop terrace. Lovely rooms and the hotel in general has great ambiance. Highly recommend!

Fijne kamer, goed bed. Krappe douche en vrij benauwd. We zaten niet in het hotel maar een blok verderop (appartementencomplex). Het was vrij gehorig en om 8:00 precies ging de schoonmaakploeg direct flink aan de slag, uitslapen was er dus niet echt bij. Verder een leuke wijk met gezellig barretjes en eettentjes en een goede locatie om al het moois van Rome te kunnen bezoeken!

What a fabulous find! I can’t imagine being more central to all the locations & sites. We walked to the Pantheon, colosseum, Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps, and campo di fiori. The rooms are quaint & charmingly without feeling cramped. The staff is incredibly accommodating and the lobby is staffed 24/7. Even had a great rooftop area. We can’t wait to go back!

Hotellet er greit. Tak terrasse et pluss, men ingen servering der. Trang spisesal for frokost. Froskost ble servert, men ingen varm mat til frokost. Bad ok, men rommet virket noe gammelt.

A atendente Rossana excelente Localização excelente Na chegada tivemos uma surpresa negativa, nos colocaram em um prédio anexo no 2o andar, sem elevador, escada estreita ( max. 50 cm). Terrível pra subir/descer com malas. Box do chuveiro HORRÍVEL, deve ter uns 60x60 cm, não se consegue dobrar o joelho pra lavar os pés. Café da manhã bom, à lá carte, bem servido , mas, café e capuccino frios. Enfim, para três pessoas e, no esquema proposto, não recomendo

Great stay, but be aware of the "free parking" We stayed at this B&B, which is very well located in the historic center — perfect for exploring on foot. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and breakfast was delicious with fresh local products. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside is the "free parking" claim. You can’t actually drive into the historic center unless you're a resident, so there’s a risk of fines. Free parking is available, but it’s street parking about 4 blocks away — not on-site as the listing might suggest. Other than that, it was a great experience and we’d definitely stay again.

The bathroom had a horrible sewer smell, heater in the room had no control button, it was too hot and noisy. The old age host at the front desk was grumpy and very rude.

Stayed for 3 nights… I would say the only good things of this hotel are its location, and the staff, other than that the place is pretty run-down. - - Bathroom sliding door could not be locked - Safe box was a joke, is a very tiny metallic box where I could barely fit my passports travel bag and my wallet, and on our last day I realized that it was not even mounted to the wall !!! so anyone can just easily walk out with the whole thing. - The worst: air conditioning did not work for 2 of the 3 nights in the middle of the summer !! The second night we had the issue, the staff offered another room but it was a very tiny room for only for two people, and I traveled with a family of four, so two of us stayed in the room with no air conditioning with just a portable fan also offered by the hotel staff. Bottom line, I would rate our stay with only one star if it was not for the location and the staff.

We picked the hotel for its central location and it didn't disappoint. The downside to this is the noise from traffic and people outside on the cobbled streets with only a short break at night. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was limited but I was happy to get refills of Tea. The room was large and had plenty of space for our luggage.

This was a lovely hotel with a delightful employee named Rosanna who made us feel incredibly welcome and helped us get laundry done. The neighborhood and location are great, and visiting Rome while staying at this hotel was a highlight of our trip to Italy.

The staff are excellent, especially at the front desk. Speak excellent English as well as other languages. Adrianne (sp?) is super efficient and we just loved Roseanne. What a lovely lady, genuinely interested and concerned about the guests, put us onto an excellent restaurant and just very very kind. Would come back for sure.

From start to finish this hotel tried their best to ruin our time in every possible way. As soon as we walked in we saw the confusion on their face when they realized they booked us the wrong room. They took us up the elevator and showed us a twin bed instead of the queen and twin bed that we paid for. After we complained we went down to the lobby as they prepared a side room, literally a room that can only be accessed from the side of the building with a door that’s nearly impossible to open and with no elevator as they forced us up two flights of stairs to a room that wasn’t even ready yet when they told us to go. They didn’t even offer to take anything up either, so we had to take 4 bags of heavy luggage up steep, narrow steps up to a room with no view at all and with no discount of refund mentioned. The worst part was the service, however, as mentioned before the door was nearly impossible to get into and so if we ever had to leave we had to go back to reception to get back in and they were rude and unhelpful every time we asked. They didn’t care about fixing their mistake nor were they in any way sorry they made it, they were just bothered that they had to do anything for their guests after that already took our money. On our last day when we asked them to call the shuttle to the hotel that they repeatedly told us they could do, however when the time actually came the shuttle never showed up and we had to race down the streets to find a taxi! We demand a refund.

The front desk agent, Rose, was fantastic. She was caring, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. She help us with directions, reservations and transport. Big thank you! The room was beautiful, clean and very convenient. Breakfast was great. We loved it.

Great stay, but be aware of the "free parking" We stayed at this B&B, which is very well located in the historic center — perfect for exploring on foot. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and breakfast was delicious with fresh local products. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside is the "free parking" claim. You can’t actually drive into the historic center unless you're a resident, so there’s a risk of fines. What a fabulous find! I can’t imagine being more central to all the locations & sites. We walked to the Pantheon, colosseum, Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps, and campo di fiori. The rooms are quaint & charmingly without feeling cramped. The staff is incredibly accommodating and the lobby is staffed 24/7. Even had a great rooftop area. We can’t wait to go back!

We picked the hotel for its central location and it didn't disappoint. The downside to this is the noise from traffic and people outside on the cobbled streets with only a short break at night. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was limited but I was happy to get refills of Tea. The room was large and had plenty of space for our luggage.

This hotel was the perfect choice! We are a family of 4 and visited Rome to see as many points of interest as possible. The location of the hotel was excellent. All monuments were a maximum of 15 minutes walk, except Vatican city which we took a taxi for €14 (we used the "free now" app) and another €15 for our return. Taxis at the Vatican city asked for €28 for our return and we said no. The hotel room was very clean and had two separate areas for sleep, something very convinient, given my daughters are teenagers and needed their privacy. Around the hotel there are a lot of restaurants either for a cheap quick bite or to sit at a table and get served. On the "down side", breakfast was nothing special, just standard items everyday served at the table and the wi-fi was very unstable. But it is a three star hotel so it is forgiven. If we visit Rome again, this hotel will be our first choice.

The roof top balcony was a definite plus! The Minerva room had an authentic vintage Rome feel and was quite a big room. Staff was available 24/7 and quite friendly. The complimentary breakfast was good, croissants, coffee (cappuccino, cafe latte), broiled egg, juice, ham and cheese, yogurt, jams. This is a really underrated hotel. I didn’t expect much because it’s actually fairly affordable but really surprised us! The location is super ideal because it is close enough to all the main attractions in Rome, but far enough away that you aren’t crowded with tourists and have amazing local cusine right outside the front door. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The property has this beautiful outdoor rooftop terrace that we had some gelato on and watched the sunset. It was empty when we went although we came in peak tourist season (June). The best part of this hotel was the breakfast. Hands down the best breakfast we had on a two week trip in Rome & the Amalfi coast. It’s free with a room and you get the best cappuccinos, fresh croissants, prosciutto and yogurt. So yummy and would highly recommend. The next time I visit Rome I will be returning to Antica Locanda.

Next to local restaurants, 15 min walk to the Colosseum and very useful for our last day when we could do a Covid test at a Farmacia (only the one with the white tent outside) and head over to Coliseum one last time to walk around. It's an apartment type so Roxanne walked us into a building 2 doors down from the check in office. We got a 2-bedroom quarter on the 2nd floor. Both beds are super comfy. The pillows are excellent just wished we had more. The little bedroom has a window facing the street and we didn't know to shut the shutters, so it was bright all night, but the maid service closed it for us the following day. A bit noisy but hey, you're certainly in Rome. Breakfast is down the street at a cafe next to a water fountain. Now, that's the real Rome experience right there. The quality was good except we kept wanting more salami and hot white toast and they were a bit reluctant to hand out more. Hot chocolate was for a charge so my 23 yo old autistic son was a bit disappointed. Overall, it's still good and we were there right at 8 to beat the crowd (breakfast is 8-10am). Right after that, everyone came in and it was quite crowded. The front desk helped us call for a taxi to FCO at 6:30AM and was very friendly. The only suggestions we would have is to provide some hair conditioner. They only have a shampoo gel and my hair was tangled badly so I was in the shower for longer to work out my hair and we ran out of hot water quickly. We did mention that.

We only had two pillows but when we asked for 2 more they were brought to us immediately. We also asked for the air conditioner temp to be lowered with required a remote and they immediately tended to our request. The breakfast wasn’t buffet style and was actually served to us and had a good variety of things and a lot of food! The lady at the front desk, Rosianna I think was her name, was super friendly, gave us a lot of information, advice and recommendations. I just loved her. Highly recommend!

Wifi was intermittent and unreliable. During 3 night stay, it never worked more than 30 minutes at a time and connection was sporadic on 2 devices right next to each other. You can't be 3 star hotel with an internet connection that is less reliable than dial-up AOL. In three weeks of travel in France and Italy, on other property was near as bad. Great staff was helpful and kind, location was good, facilities were good - but apparently management didn't care enough to fix an obvious internet access problem that staff knew about.

Room was large and clean. Beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. The only thing that needs improvement is wifi signal was very weak in the room. Kept getting disconnected and spotty. The only place it works well is in the lobby.
